Can't be used right now...
I saw a guild that had killed the kraken and was carrying around a whole bunch of it's tentacles, it was quite a sight

how many does it take?
how many does it take?
I remember in RU the guild(s?) that killed the Kraken used like 8 galleons that they would rotate out to repair since it destroys a galleon in 2 hits

Like a small crowd, at least two dozen people. They were waiting around at the gold trader in villanelle
What are these kind of achivements I keep getting when finding interesting places, do they do anything or can I at least keep track of them somehow?

I think they use to give XP prior to patch 1.2, but they don't anymore.
There is not really any reason at all I don't know why they bothered putting them in the game. They could be there for later content such as finding all locations can get you a fancy hat or something but I wouldn't put any bets on it.
I don't want to wait till friday so I can play again.
Shame the open beta ends tomorrow.
Is there a US FacePunch guild I could join for pre-launch?
Will I have to re-download the game once it's out of beta or will it just be a patch?
USPunch sound-off with agree to see if we have enough guys to do a US guild for pre-launch.

I won't be there for prelaunch but I'd like to know which server the FP guild is going to be on
I opt for using the Kyrios server but I don't know if you guys already have some established reputation on a different one.
Doesn't matter on release.
wanted to get mmo mouse and found this

Using it right now and its not bad. Really like it and seems really easy to use.
Are all the servers down or something? When I go on Glyph it says offline.

I payed for the beta access yesterday, does this mean I still get a head start on the 12th?

If you got one of these, yes.

That looks pretty slick, especially at that price. Can't have enough buttons on your mouse, not just for gaming
Shame it's not wireless though, I got a gaming laptop and I kinda have to move around a lot and I always end up accidentally pulling the cord and breaking them while I carry them
If anyone can suggest me a wireless alternative that isn't stupidly overpriced I'd like to hear it
If I dont play head start will I still be able to get a house? how long before land runs out?
If I dont play head start will I still be able to get a house? how long before land runs out?
About a day probably :v: , it will open up within a week or two when people don't pay their bills.
Land is kind of set up to run out on purpose so buying and selling is the main option within a few days so it becomes a main part of the economy. Once land is all gone for a week or so prices of land will be inflated because of the amount of people who will want it.

With the amount of servers, and judging off the Omega server which was open for awhile, I don't see land being gone within headstart.
The most sought after land for east side (ynystere and lutesong harbor) may be taken within headstart. However, places like Windscour will most likely have a decent amount of land.
I'm kinda worried about the amount of servers they have, sure they're going to get filled fast but once the excitement dies down you're going to end up with the playerbase being split and you can't really merge servers without pissing a whole bunch of people off
I'm worried that the game's going to fail, honestly. Not because I think it's bad but because it's more niche than your average mmo and at the same time it's dependant on having a large number of people playing

It has been out for years in Korea and is still going strong there so I don't think we should worry too much. It is technically free to play allowing it to bring in more players easily too. Not only this the games world is like half the size of what it will eventually become and they also have a level cap at the moment so there will be a constant release of content over the years to keep bringing people back.
It just kind of has all the things it needs in place to hold its audience over time as long as they release the awaited content not too fast or too slow.
Also there is the potential option for adding optional player migration. The mmo called Landmark lets players swap between any server at any time whenever they like free of charge and is a very useful thing to have. The mmo Firefall does this too meaning if a server (they call them shards) ever feels empty you can just hop to a more active one.
So yeah I really am not too worried about the life of the game considering they play their cards right.

Oh and I forgot to mention about Auroria that is going to be a massive war continent for players and we can explore and own barely any of it right now meaning the guild pvp wars can barely even be done yet. Once that continent is fully opened and you have all the major guilds grabbing land and having wars with each other I can see more people being enticed into the game.
Eastern audience is very different from the west, especially so when it comes to MMOs
At least trion seems to understand this and is tweaking things as needed rather than just dumping the game as it is, I guess. They won a lot of points in my book by removing the swimsuits from the cash shop (they'll be back eventually anyway, but still.)
Alexojm, you do seem to have a vast ingame knowledge yet.
A buddy in school recommended me to go for the blue salt quest as soon as the headstart's open to get a quick bigger farm instead of questing through all the quests till level 35.
Is that correct, or would you recommend leveling more quickly instead?
