my game just randomly closes after the cry engine 3 splash

Yeah my game is acting funny now too. It first started up to no server list or dialogue box at all just the background cinematic looping, and now it just closes down after the intro videos.

So what are people's opinions on this so far? My friend has the early access right now, I'm contemplating trying it out when opens to public/free this tuesday. Are there signs of how f2p-y it is yet in the early access? I'm just wondering if its straight up typical asian-MMO stuff where everything is a microtransaction and its pay to win/progress.

Any tips how to gather lumber as quick as possible? Should i get the 16x16 farm or the clipper first?

It's more relatable to runescape, in that some of the content is locked to you unless you pay up. That being said, it's very little. The only thing you can't do as a free member are pay taxes (thus, build houses) and use the AH. Both of these things also act as counter-measures to keep people from spamming accounts and ruining server economies.

Quite happy. 3 Days in and I have a Clipper as well as a 16x16 and 8x8 planted. Reached level 33 today by questing with others. I will probably lag behind with leveling from tomorrow as I have college but am not that bothered. Set up my key bindings for my mouse and shut down the game properly so for once all my setting will save. A good day. Some pictures from today. So the character I played on Friday and got to level 6 got deleted. And now my name's taken. Fuck this fucking game.
