Heres the best way ive found to wait the queue, get yourself a timer, set it to around the queue time and go running, when you come back, the queue will be over and you will be more energic and pumped to play for longer too.
8.5 hours in queue and I'm number 56

This would be great but the I constantly crash whilst in the queue and it will not save your place. I have been trying to get in for 4 hours and should of already been in by now probably twice from looking at the speed the queue was moving.

Got in 2 minutes after the servers went up, got up to level 19, computer froze and some how restarted itself

if you rejoin within 10 minutes you can skip queue
The queues are still fuck huge, I don't feel like waiting another 4 hours to get in the game.

Looks like FOR DAY TWO IN A ROW I won't be, because their "6 hours of downtime" right after launch (????) to fix the issue where Patron members weren't getting patron status to skip ques (among other things) was a load of shit.
It's [I]still[/I] completely broken and I'm still sitting in a multi-thousand person que on the lowest populated server. Threads all over official forums and reddit saying that nobody is getting Patron despite signing up for it.
Anybody else having their computers crash half the time you exit out of ArcheAge? I have no idea why it's doing that but it's annoying.
three hours, 40 miles, and a good browse at walmart later, I've gone from 3500 in queue and ">1 h" wait time, to

it's going down about 7 people per 30-40 seconds now that I've counted, drops 1 person every 15-20 but then it'll lose a few at once here and there

5 minutes before this i was at 3,060 in the queue
50 per 5 minutes x 10 = 500 per 50 minutes x 3 = 1,500 per 2:30 x3 = 3,000 per 5:00
so it will be roughly 5 hours to get in game.
What the fuck is this shit.
who wants to bet this is like FFXIV:ARR's re-opening, where the game's time-out is easily skipped by auto-running in a corner, and fuckwits everywhere are 'reserving' their spot on a server by staying logged in eternally, to skip the queues that the mindset is causing in the first place

Auto running even in circles will get you booted. They did this originally because of people afk leveling mounts but now it is handy for booting them for being afk.

I don't know if this would work but I think their is a system in place that detects patterns so it may very well not work. (Also was that you Dai as I don't know how the message I put in a quote got into my post originally)

Some guy planted a load of fig trees on my plot as I had not actually built the farm yet. He was either dumb enough to think his stuff would be protected or was smart enough to think people wouldn't notice the farm was not built and he did not own it.
So I built my farm and now he cannot harvest any of his stuff. I sent him a mail saying he has to pay me to harvest his stuff but he declined so I will take the figs and lumber for myself. There was 38 trees planted in my plot.

queue down to 1900 in the past 14 minutes, meaning my queue progression is [i]slowing down[/i]
Is this just generic quests till 50 and then PvP and farming or is there actually PvE and dungeons in here somewhere? Everything I see is literally just plots and farming, but the skills and class system looks like something I'd like to try, but there's not much point if combat is just a secondary thing.

I've found a house plot very close to my scarecrow garden I'd like to have for my scarecrow farm and noticed the taxes weren't paid. It expires tomorrow at 11PM. What I wanna know is, is that my local time, or the server time?
It seems like they're on PST.
I guess tomorrow at 11 I'll have my answer anyway.
EU servers have no queue at this time, perks of being an insomniac!

That's how long I waited yesterday for a 2300 queue.
It's stupid of people to get angry that the launch is going roughly? Just wait it out. They'll either increase server capacity, or the amount of people trying to connect to the most popular servers will fall to the point where the queues are bearable.

The game's not going anywhere and it'll be better to wait it out so that property clears up (I hope).
So around 4:00 I made the mistake of logging out when I went to cook dinner, Came back at 5:00 to a login queue of 3k. It's 9:37 and I'm still not in.
Moral of the story, don't log out.
