Thanks man I got it and I'm downloading right now.
If you're having trouble logging into the Glyph thingy, try ticking the "remember me" box. The error has something to do with cookies, and that's how I solved my issue.
I had the login problem aswell.
Eventually I was able to log in via Internet Explorer and redeem the key.
Gonna download the 21gigs now, I'm very excited about this game
It's a very fun game, glad more people are getting in!
I didn't know anything about this game till a day before the first beta event, got in and bought the $50 pack.
Decided to upgrade to the $150 pack yesterday! enjoying this game!
I am actually planing to either grab the 45€ oder the 90€ version aswell, but I'm very pleased with being able to test it now before I'm gonna get it.
I know it's early to talk about it but anyone has an estimate on when the open beta will be?
This game is huge.
Anyone still getting connection reset on the Trion World's website?

From what I've seen said, thought it was from other players, September or October seems likely.

me
Still getting "this webpage is unavailable" when logging in, I'm guessing their servers are getting swamped.
While you were playing, you were also giving us feedback on what you liked, and didn’t like, with our version of ArcheAge. We really appreciate all of the detailed feedback, both about things you liked and would like to see improved. With your input, we’re reviewing a number of systems with XLGAMES, including use of labor while you’re hunting and looting, labor regeneration rates for online and offline players, and the availability of Archeum.
Don't know how to feel. Years of MMO play give me a feeling that the "changes" they supposedly are proposing are just going to benefit people with Patron status despite how it was everyone who didn't have it who complained.

Is it really worth the 20gigs?

Kind of hard to tell from my perspective. Apparently quests stop being a thing around level 28-30 and the "sandbox" element kicks in. Where you get your experience via crafting, exploration and PvP. Its nice because apparently its possible to to do every kind of crafting available, but the fact that your crafting is limited by the Labor Bar, a bar that fills a small bit every 5 minutes of play, is a hindrance.
So I finished downloading all the 21 gigs but the servers are offline.
Does anyone know why and how long untill I am able to play?

Thats why there's more to do than just crafting. When you're waiting for your labor to refill, go PVP or do some trading.

Uhh, so you gotta get invited to each beta seperately and they all just take about 5 days? That sucks

Yea they do a 5~ day beta, get the feedback, change somethings, and then they do another beta.
Also archeage is now on steam! http://store.steampowered.com/app/304030?snr=1_41_4__42

More so you gotta get lucky in somehow procuring a beta code unless your sacrifice is accepted and you get invited or you buy a Founder's Pack. I say this as even though I managed to get into CBT2, it was due to snagging a code from a giveaway again. Seriously, they give thousands of those things away as promotional material and there are people on the waiting list for a year plus who get nothing but Founder Pack spam.
I got an invite to CBT2 :v:
are the servers offline for everyone else?

Oh well.
Not worth my time to go to a giveaway every 5 days if I really wanna play.
Is there still a key available somewhere? I was a die-hard 5 year eve-vet and it seems like this might launch me back into mmo games.
Is there any idea as to how long the founders packs will be available for?
I want to buy the top one but it is very expensive and I spent quite a lot recently on games. Now it is on steam there is a chance it will appear on a site like Kinguin as founders packs on steam always end up on there for a bit less so I want to hold out for a few days.
Also just encase anyone knows is there already a place to get it a bit cheaper as £115 is more than I would like to spend right now.

They have a couple more closed beta events so I think you may have a couple weeks to look around, but don't hold me to it!
I got invited to the test next week and I signed up the day this thread was originally posted (April 2011).
The invite was also only the second email I've had about the game, the first was a week ago telling me to buy founders.
Ha only fifteen hours after posting and it is on Kinguin for £82.64 much better than £114.99. A nice £32.36 saved.

Update: Bought it got my steam key and am installing now.
In for a penny, in for a pound; lets see what $150 dollars worth of Alpha is all about!
