ArcheAge - A Sandbox MMO with Realistic Queue Action - Games

So a couple of my friends and I planted 600 pine trees on our server, and they were ready to chop down 30 minutes ago. We were there with 20~ people, then one guy that was still heading there noticed a guild called Anarchy (Pace22, who is a streamer, is the leader of the guild but he wasn't streaming) was forming up near our spot. We took out the initial wave, the second wave half of our raid dc'd so we died. I log back in and 3 of us survived even though we dc'd, a small group of people from the guild <Bacon> joined our raid and we were like a team behind enemy lines picking off the straggling members running through our trees. Our raid was starting to group up at the take off point and we stealthed over to the landing zone but got caught, and then most of Anarchy came to attack us, but luckily there was 6 other guys not in our raid that showed up so we were able to hold our own for a bit, and then I crashed! I logged back into the game and got a queue, so the grace period broke for me... This part of the story is what I can gather from the commentary in TS Anyway, after 1-2 tries, the raid was able to group up, the 6 people that weren't in our raid brought in 30 more people to help us, so we were back to chopping down trees. So it was 3/4th our raid chopping trees down with 36 people in another raid chopping trees with us, all of a sudden one of our guys noticed they were turning on bloodlust, and they turned on us and got the rest of the trees. But we were able to get around 700~ logs, so it wasn't a complete loss, and it was very very fun.

Any level 50 on EU (Kyprosa)? I need a mentor for BC... only two people reached level 50 in my guild... The scarcity of queuing.

I just use a spot to get thunderstruck until it's been discovered by too many people, then switch out. From that spot we got two thunderstruck trees earlier this weekend, so we still profited from it. I am disappointed that the green guild turned on us, but with that many logs I could see their reasoning. The most upsetting part was getting dc'd and not getting my grace period.

Been in queue for 6 hours, from 3.5k -> 800, maybe ill get to play before i sleep.

dc/ed yet again what the hell's going on today

so i decided to play for a while today since i managed to skip the queue due to server reset around level 10 i noticed another player constantly being everywhere i was, doing all of the same quests. We both ended up finishing that one first raid/elite quest in the same raid, and still kept seeing each other everywhere. The best part is that we looked almost identical; Female elves with cloth armor; They were a mage type and i was a healing type. So we partied up. We slowly made our way across newb-land finishing every quest in sight, occasionally inviting other people to our party. They would immediately leave after completing a single quest however. Although one guy left and then immediately rejoined because we were going in the same direction he was. And then immediately left again. partway through the questing we started riding each other's mounts, because they were both purple elks, and we were going everywhere together anyways so why not take turns who had to steer?? We eventually came across a treeant that was a level 30 zone boss, so they thought it would be a fun idea to see how much a single attack worth of damage would cause to it. "You think i could get away if i just did one quick attack?". Hahaha yea right; as soon as the attack left their hands they got slung directly towards the boss, slowed, and then instakilled. From that point on they just rode my mount because they didn't feel like reviving their own mount! Long story short we partied together all the way from lilyut hills, completed everything including the "SM" instance dungeon, and now we're both level 21+.

Log in servers go down while I was 1100~ in queue? Time to skip the queue when they go back up!

Got into the game without a queue, got dc'd, got back into the game but now I have a queue, I guess the grace period is broken.

Wow what the eff First time ever being in queue on Enla as a patron. 40 people. No big deal right? Nope. Says its going to take over an hour with just [I]40 fucking people[/I] infront. Apparently, nobody has logged off in so long on this server that it takes several minutes for just one person to get in. I guess the launch week queues finally caught up to enla.

[/quote] good thing they listened to the suggestion on forums that was there yesterday (though more people could have suggested daily restarts, but I didn't see anything)

Daily restarts are bullshit. They hamper my farm/labor recovery time. What they really need is a better AFK kicker.

This game was fun as hell in beta, if not a little grindy. Laughed my way through levels 1-15 in the space of an hour as outlander. I will probably play this obsessively once the servers calm down enough to accept connections.
