ArcheAge - A Sandbox MMO with Realistic Queue Action - Games

The gliders and multiple passenger boats that you can make look pretty stellar. Interested in the custom class system as well. Really hoping there's more playable races than what's available (Although I doubt that'll happen). At the moment it's human, shorter human, taller human with long ears and obligatory humanoid furry race.

Last night I planted 150 aspen trees(took 1.5k labor) on open land. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/9C8M7BD.jpg[/thumb] When I logged on 3 people were there, and by the time we started 7 others was there. I got about 64 of my trees, getting 479 logs, and currently making it all into lumber. It would have been awesome if I got all the trees because just around 60 of them gave about 80% xp, not including turning it into lumber!

Once I finished downloading then installing then messing with the UI to my liking then by this time going to eat dinner and finally start playing I reached level 10. Got my first mount and rowboat and have now selected all 3 of my skill sets. I chose Battlerage, Defence and Vitalism making me a Paladin class. Was surprised to see there are 120 classes because of there being 10 different skill sets you can choose in any combination choosing my three took so long. I might not of played much but I already love it. I love that 2 people can ride on horseback and that 2 people can sail in a basic row boat. Also you can actually climb ladders and trees in this game I was quite surprised by this because it is an mmo (If that is common in mmo's now I had no idea have not played one like this since LOTRO).

So how are the building/planting elements? I once played a fantastic MMO known as Dawntide. You could build prebuilt houses and ships, plant farms and mine preset areas. There was very little building restrictions, and a low-level character could built a very useful cargo vessel in half a day's work. It wasn't an asshole with the freemium, unlike wurm, and it really encouraged people to build a town and defend each other. It's been about two or three years since the development has died, and I've been looking for a similar game ever since. I really hope this game is that.

I really hope this game is that.[/QUOTE] You use things called "gilda stars" which you get from the main quest storyline / other quests that can be used to buy houses/boats, that you can build. Also you can get crests to put your own image on your boat/house.

Anyone playing the next beta and planning on heading to the EU servers? Would love to play with some of you and possibly create a guild!

Aparrently you can put your crest on all kinds of items in the game. Well, the other two packs give you gold and the beta is starting in two days but you'd only be able to play for like 6 days or so, until the beta ends.

They seem to give thousands of them out for promotional purposes and they go fast. Meanwhile the odds of getting your key via being invited/picked seem to be really bad. From experience: enjoy constant e-mails trying to get you to buy one of the Founder Packs.
