Maybe I missed them but I still got a few remaining quests in Ynsyster to do but wanted to spend labor. Got the second small farm due to second character and then managed to grab 2 small farm spots that were side by side.

I was going to go for baleful recharge for dat mana, but I realized that there is no way in hell I can spend 8+ points in that tree and be an archer. For pvp it has some great CC though. Otherwise auramancery gives a lot of utility.

Most of the time you can go with any build, what you need to look out for is conflicting dmg types. Main contributor to your dmg is your weapons. For mage dps, staff or scepter/shield is the best, for healing you want club/shield or a greatclub. So if we assume you pick a class with both magic damage and healing, you [b]must[/b] weapon swap, otherwise, either your heals will be shit, or your dmg will be shit. This is also a massive pain in the arse. For Archery you'll probably want some agility 1handers and dual wield that for the decreased global cooldown, and attack speed. Melee dps it's generally dual wield for PvE and 2hander for PvP A nice thing to know if you're going heals if you pick Oracle (Archery, Auramancy, Vitalism). You can go full on healing gear, 1h club + shield, and still use a nice dps bow for full dmg without having to weaponswap. Story quests should leave you with ~60 gilda stars, otherwise your best effort is a guild organizing with trade runs.

I was able to plant a grove of about ~40 Hornbeam trees which gave me enough for a full lumber pack and then some. You just need to babysit it. In the last 16 trees someone came and tried to chop some down. While we were trying to beat her to it. She made away with 3 of the 16 trees left.

How do you get charcoal from a trade? Someone turned in one of my dropped packs for charcoal. Turns out it was awesome because the 2 charcoal I got made me about 2.5g, way better than any trade pack value

Joined a raid to kill the flame lord in Solis Highlands. Near the end the raid leader used some kind of net or something and caught it as a battle pet. I guess it pissed off most everyone since it didn't actually die? I dunno, I just thought the fight was fun.
