just saw this on reddit, someone must have met Max [t]http://i.imgur.com/kbZmGHx.jpg[/t] album: http://i.imgur.com/kbZmGHx.jpg
I don't get why we have all the french hate, but I think it's hilarious
Has anyone tried Inquisitor? I want to use a non-Paladin battlemage of some sort that's actually viable.
stock up on it while you still can. The cost of apex is set by people who spent real money on the apex unit with the intent of trading it for quick ingame cash. As the game is still in its economic infancy (and the price is currently set by the most impatient of impatient), people will begin to learn the value of gold and want their ten bucks to be worth more than a few hours of endgame pocketchange.
Ye, sounds about right.
Has anyone tried Inquisitor? On a side note, the price of apex isn't going to rise past the price of 50-55 gold per(lucias); especially when bots are advertising 100 gold for 14 bucks. So sometimes it's a good indicator to find where the price is right. If anybody REALLY wants to get into it- the price of apex varies from server to server, and is bound to your account- so if you're looking to grab apex cheaper than what your current server is offering it- try making an alt on a different server to scope out the prices.
They vary on 65-85g on Melisara East. Also I really wanna play a Paladin beceause I wanna be that fucking asshole that doesn't know how to die, but jesus fuck imagine leveling one
Which server do people play on?
leveling isn't a problem and shouldn't be; choose a crafting set that's in high demand, and make huge profit off of it- once you've done that: go mine ore whilst popping worker's compensation, and vocation potions. for example, armor smithing + vocation potion = 10-18 thousand EXP per piece of armor crafted. 10 thousand per 1st tier piece of armor, 18 thousand per 2nd tier of armor, so on, and so fourth.

You get how much experience per peace of armor crafted? I gotta stop making logs then, I've gained 2 levels from pretty much crafting lumber but I'm in the wrong profession if I could be getting that much xp.
On a side note, the price of apex isn't going to rise past the price of 50-55 gold per; especially when bots are advertising 100 gold for 14 bucks.
let's assume bots were just as safe and reliable as apex, and people could freely choose whichever method they feel works best The bots are currently the way people would want to spend their money towards gold, of course. Apex will only net you 77% of the current bot rates dollar-for-dollar. however Now that people don't see much value in apex, there aren't nearly as many people putting cash into them to put up on the market, meaning supply of it is going down as people buy out the lowest price tokens. Bots can't grind out apex, so it still requires you to either pay up $14 for full access to the game, or to buy two apex off the trading post with your expendable ingame income, which is in essence 'free'. At the current stated rate of 55g per apex, this means buying 100g through a bot for $14 will earn you two apex for $15.71. Oops, easier to just subscribe if earning your subscription time is the intent. People who are still dropping $10 for apex can then expect to raise the price to exactly 70 gold per apex, at which point $20 paid to bots will get you the same amount of gold as $20 paid into apex, and that ultimately means anybody giving money to goldsites are only slightly bigger fucking shitheels for validating goldsellers at all since it's at a point of equivalence. If demand continues to rise for apex (it will), it will negate the need for paying that current bot rate because the game's own F2P model beats them at their own game. They'd have to lower their prices, which usually means continuing to compromise accounts and pay their contacts pennies on the dollar for farming/managing bots, and if the price of apex rises enough, they won't have a viable market to compete in and they'll mostly move on. The existence of goldsites drives up the price of this kind of play-to-pay token, but their effect isn't nearly as impactful because most people are smart enough to understand goldselling is not a safe nor viable way to get ahead. It's already losing you money if you intend on paying for a subscription with the sketchy gold, and depending on how well they've maintained security right now, could flat out lose you your account with no way to get your content back nor any refunds from the goldsellers, and let's hope your payment info is secure after giving it away to a scam company like that.
Wait what? You get how much experience per peace of armor crafted? I gotta stop making logs then, I've gained 2 levels from pretty much crafting lumber but I'm in the wrong profession if I could be getting that much xp.
remember, that's armor smithing - the amount of exp depends on what you're going to do. if you REALLY want to get fancy, create an alt character on the same server, and pop a worker's composition potion for him aswell. (that character must be level 15 or higher) the cooldown on worker's compositions is only bound to your single character, and labor is account wide (for the server you're on). that's literally 4k labor you can gain within 24 hours. worker's composition has a cooldown of 12 hours: 2 characters + 4 composition potions (full 24 hour cycle)= 4k labor
Remember xp is gained from labour spent, so what profession you use it on won't matter, as long as you can spend all your labour within the time frame of the vocation tonic (1 hour) That is why high labour cost actions like weapon/armour crafting and hereafter stone crafting works so well.
always remember to check the market and see what flys fast. you can also make a TON of gold whilst gaining a TON of exp in the process.
Oh god how did I get here I am not good with sails
always remember to check the market and see what flys fast. you can also make a TON of gold whilst gaining a TON of exp in the process.
I was watching Goose Downs earlier when I needed 15 of them for a quest. Someone was being really smart about it and throwing them up for 80s - 1g for a batch of 15, the same amount of the quest, and the specialty item, and they were selling like hot cakes. Lazy fuckers like me that just want to buy them instead of making them don't want to over or under buy, so throwing 80s at it is extremely tempting when it is the exact amount.
Tried this game tonight, went to eat dinner, and i guess that's all im playing cause im not waiting around as the 600th person in line :') what a shame
So what you're saying is you didn't try the game at all.
So what you're saying is you didn't try the game at all.
hard to try the game when you have to wait 2 hours just to get in
For anybody doing their quests for bigger farming plots: if you, and your friend both need to complete the quest, only ONE of you needs to get within range to qualify completion for the quest. Your friend, whom doesn't even have to carry a trade pack- also completes the quest for simply being with you.
always remember to check the market and see what flys fast. you can also make a TON of gold whilst gaining a TON of exp in the process.
How do you even do that because when I use the market its always 100% blank unless I'm searching for something specific. The categories on the side do literally nothing
How do you even do that because when I use the market its always 100% blank unless I'm searching for something specific. The categories on the side do literally nothing
Click on the categories, then click on a expanded one and hit search. Example: Click Vehicles>gliders>search to see gliders on the AH. Im using that example because two days ago i was looking at gliders and found a corrupted allies wing with a buyout price of 12 gold. Awesome for me, sucks for the seller.
Jesus Christ. So my guild decided to do it's first big trade run just now. First, we all gathered up and trekked across a PvP zone with our friends who are a PvP gang to protect us, just imagine 20+ people walking in a beeline to the beach. When we arrived to the beach, there were 3 clippers waiting for us. Everyone loaded up into the boats and headed to the east continent, hopefully avoiding pirates. We ran across a small group on a clipper and scared them off with our massive group, I'm surprised they didn't come back with their guild. We finally made it to the docks and made some fat stacks. Moments like this are worth all the grind.
So whats the best way to make coin I know I can grind loads of XP by making hereafter stones apparently but right now I'm more interested in the $$$ I have a large farm currently producing supplies for dyed goose feathers for trade to crowns or sanddeep (if its in peace period) Honestly was thinking about just buying a hundred tree seeds (aspens right?), finding some distant mountain near the edge of no where and placing a giant unprotect farm
Depends what server. Check these things: lumber, logs, raw stone, brick stone, opaque polish. Which ever is efficient will make you the big bucks. Like raw stone, it's pure outcome at the cost of labor. Fuck, you can even pop a vocation potion or something and get double the exp for mining. [editline]30th September 2014[/editline] the FP lucias tree farm. 200 Hornbeams.
Any Melisara West bros out there? It's getting lonely
holy shit [t]http://i.imgur.com/sdYSJZ9.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/UoebojA.png[/t]
Just play another game/go outside. For big crimes they should put you on display like they did in the olde times so everyone knows who you are. Also had a big trade run with my guild on Aranzeb, about 6 of us crammed together on a clipper and headed to the east. We got attacked by pirates but killed them all with our superior numbers despite being lower levels. In two runs each person made between 30-40 gold. I can't wait till this game ages a little and bigger ships start appearing on the high seas
What guild? Sausage Commandos will pay extra attention to them when we go on our expeditions to the east.
Flying Dutchman is their guild name. They've found my housing spot in the savannah as well, I may be very fucked
What's a good way to earn some casual gold on free account? Not for apex but just for general spending. Do trade runs?
Flying Dutchman is their guild name. They've found my housing spot in the savannah as well, I may be very fucked
Haha, legitimately killed some of them numerous times over yesterday without even realizing.
