Yes, yes, yes, you can sort by ship class in the new patch. I'm so glad I don't have the property menu constantly being reordered and making it take ages to find a ship anymore. Ship class sorting always made more sense to me - typically you'll want to find a ship listed near its colleagues, and ships of the same class tend to have the same job. And because a ship's class doesn't change during its lifetime you can start to get an idea of about how far down groups of ships will be.

Oh hai. I loved EvE online but stopped playing it because I couldn't spend as much time on it as everyone else, so I lagged behind all the time. So I'm thinking of buying X3 now. Reunion is pretty cheap on Steam and I'm short on money, but I don't know if Reunion is worth buying at all when compared to Terran Conflict. So which one should I get? Is there anything really important that Terran Conflict has and Reunion doesn't?

Terran Conflict without a doubt. It has everything Reunion has plus a ton more. Even with the empire i had going on in Reunion, i didn't hesitate to start again on TC from scratch.

You can get X3 Reunion for only a couple dollars/a cent on amazon.

The M6s were almost invisible compared to the capital ships.

What I basically need is a decent resolution picture of the Nova, top down, at a resolution greater than 512x512.

How do you buy a ship in this game?

That will cover the basics and some of the more advanced stuff. There's also alot more guides on the Egosoft forums as well that aren't included in that thread. A bit of reading is necessary to fully understand the more advanced components of the game, but its better then not knowing what your doing and end up blowing a ton of credits.

Stations who have the largest shortages of stock will pay the most for the wares.

Places like Satelite factorys and Missle Fabs. Also try Crystal Fabs from memory.
