it gets destroyed I think...
it gets destroyed I think...
Really? Didn't do that when I tried it. I guess they patched it.
I will test this right now.
I will test this right now.
3 Hours ago... Suppose he does have the excuse that it's addictive once you start playing.
Inferno;30516286']3 Hours ago... Suppose he does have the excuse that it's addictive once you start playing.
I want to rate you both funny and agree. One time I got side tracked and later realised I hadn't slept in like 2 days while plowing through this game.
Inferno;30516286']3 Hours ago... Suppose he does have the excuse that it's addictive once you start playing.
Shit. I forgot about the outside world for a second there. Anyway, I got the screenshots, I will upload them now. And, the virdict, you CAN pick SETA up in a Space Suit. However, you are unable to re-eject it once you have picked it up. (The space suit does not have a freight bay) [img_thumb]http://img840.imageshack.us/img840/2432/x3screen00081.jpg[/img_thumb] This is "what is installed" when I look at the infomation for my Space Suit [img_thumb]http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/9371/x3screen00080.jpg[/img_thumb] This is prrof I cannot access a "freight bay". [img_thumb]http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/7803/x3screen00079.jpg[/img_thumb] This is the Space Suit with SETA. [editline]18th June 2011[/editline] This is, however, X-Tended: Terran Conflict, so it may be different with the normal game. But I do believe they did not change anything when it comes to SETA and Space Shits.
Console players wouldn't want to play a game like X3 in the first place, way to much thinking and menus to go through.
If it was made specifically for console it could work. But I don't see any ports to or from consoles working ever.

I thought I could remember using a SETA in a space suit before. By the way, you posted a sort of spoiler in one of the photos ([sp]the Headquarters[/sp]).

Everybody knows about it, the only thing people seem to not know is how to finish the plot/s to get it and how to start them.

Is this buyable on Steam?
Is this buyable on Steam?
All the X-games are available on STEAM, individual or in the X-Superbox (which also has the Pieces of X fan-made soundtrack)
All the X-games are available on STEAM, individual or in the X-Superbox (which also has the Pieces of X fan-made soundtrack)
Ah. I now just need to get past all the complicated stuffs and then maybe i can enjoy it.
Just picked up X3: Reunion for £1.50, good deal?
I should reinstall X3: Reunion. I've never played an X game before and when I tried Reunion I just played it for 20 minutes and then never bothered to play it again. Does anyone know a good way to get more immersed into the game? Because I was probably not doing something right..
You must have a joystick.
I got a joystick and I still suck. [editline]26th June 2011[/editline] It's 4 buttons tho.
You must have a joystick.
Nope. I ruled the galaxy with a stock HP mouse.
I have all the X game and never played any. Can i go directly to X3 or will i miss something?
just go to x3 tc its interface is far Superior.
I spend 95% of my time staring at the Sector Map and clicking on stuff to dock at and trade with with SETA 10x on.

You must have a joystick.
Nope. I ruled the galaxy with a stock HP mouse.
Until recently, I played with nothing other than my laptop's built in touch pad mouse and arrow keys :smug:. Edit:I completed nearly all of the plots like this. Now,(After a year is it, can't honestly remember) I have a proper mouse which makes it easier.
I bought this game like a year ago or so, but stopped playing because I couldn't figure out how to dock. :saddowns:

The Egosoft forums are very helpful as well. To dock with a station you just left click to select it, then press shift+D and your ship will handle everything for you.
until the autopilot spazzes out and impales your ship on an advert for space-whores
Oh you, silly Monk. He doesn't impale the space-whore advert, he docks in her docking ring.

Because I was probably not doing something right..
Starting off is slow (At least in the vanilla starts), and there isn't really that much you can do to change that. There is one start though (Paranid), in X-Tended: Terran Conflict, where you start off with a Headquarters inside a TL. That is worth (when sold at a shipyard) about 200 million credits. That would probably be the best and fastest way of starting off you could find, or you could get some savegames off people who have already done the stuff for you.
I need to buy X3: Terran Conflict now... but it's £19.00 on Steam. :saddowns: I will probably have to wait till the Summer Deals.
I will need help learning this, I am taking an interest in space games, and this looks pretty good.
