How do I do this, in commands, it only gives me manual runs..
You will need to buy Trade Command Software MkIII from a Teladi station. After that, the option should be there in the command console of your ship. Star the sector trader, and once it has reached a minimum of level 8, you can start Universe Trading (I reccomend getting it to level 10 first though)
I googled it before but all it came up with was fileshit/dickfront.
You're best having a look on Egosoft's site itself rather than google, the forum members there will usually help you pretty quickly. If you ask for mods or scripts on the Egosoft forums, make sure to ask for them in the S&M's forum, else you'll just get an moderator have to move the topic(The same goes for all other issues you have).

Don't know whether he just forgot to mention, but TCS MkIII costs a little in excess of 500,000 credits.
My impression is that Rebirth will be a lot more like Freelancer than any games in the previous series, with its trade lanes, crowded universe, combat around station infrastructure, and non-pilotable capital ships. But if we have something like the accessibility and combat of Freelancer with the empire mechanics of X, that's pretty much the game I've been waiting for.
I'd like to see the X series of games become a bit more like Freelancer in that it's more simple. I'd still like to have most if not all the abilities we have now, but just simplified a bit in an easier to navigate UI. Less clicks to do what you want, but still in depth enough you can name each ship you own and assign it its own duties
but not so simple that you hold down a button for One of Two random options

I'd also like to see the money making be less tedious. This relates to our previous discussion about trading, I've gotten the hang of it, but its tedious and boring, I've resorted to cheating to get money, which I will use to get those freighters.
I used the tactic you used to start, with the ore belt and whatnot, but that only netted me about 50k.

Just installed this, so far so good

I don't want your damn batteries, what am I supposed to do with these?
Batteries? Going to guess you mean energy cells, well you can sell them to pretty much any manufacturing station. [sp]Jumpdrives also require them later on in the game[/sp]
And how do I supply stations I have bought? I bought an ore mine, and I set it asa freighters home base, install buy for best price and sell for best price etc software, do that command, and then he goes and buys energy cells once, brings them to the station, and then just sits there. If I re-order him he does the same thing, except this time he buys no energy cells.
Also, no product is selling, from the one time he did buy energy cells, it made 138 ore, I set the price down to like 100, and noone has bought any. Is there any way to manually supply energy cells?
Assign the freighter to service the station. One for buying energy cells, one for selling wares works well.
Assign the freighter to service the station. One for buying energy cells, one for selling wares works well.
Yes, I assigned it to service the station, by making its homebase the station, thus enabling the option to buy ware for best price. But the problem is, he just sits in the ore mine, doing nothing. The only way I can get him to do it is if I manually dock at a station, buy energy cells, do the buy ware for best price after that, and then he goes to another station, buys nothing, goes to the ore mine, and puts the energy cells in.

Nothing.
Probably because of that comma in the beginning of your sentence.
is the x3 summer world thing worth it, or should i get the tf2 shades?

Aah, thanks, even trough I figured out that I NEED those energy cells (they look like batteries to me :v:). Is it possible to mine in from asteroids in this game?
is the x3 summer world thing worth it, or should i get the tf2 shades?
Umm, from what I understand, you are asking weather to buy a TF2 Hat/Item, or the X3 Superbox?
Get the Superbox. No hat/item in TF2 is even worth 50c, let alone $19.99...
Also, I picked the Terran start, is that good or bad (if I enjoy combat more then trading)

Yes, but you will need a ship that is capable of being armed with a Mobile Mining Laser (or something along those lines). Plus, you will need a ship that is capable of having an Ore Collector on it. Anything with XL sized cargo capacity can carry an Ore Collector, but only some ships can be armed with a Mining Laser. You can, however, also use missiles to blow up smaller asteroids so you can mine them. Any TS ship with "Miner" in it's name will (or, should) be able to be armed with a Mining Laser. For example, the Argon Mercury Miner, avaliable at any good Shipyard in Argon territory.

Umm, I think he is talking about the ticket rewards. There is a X3:TC mission and TF2 shades available from the Prize Booth.
Also, I picked the Terran start, is that good or bad (if I enjoy combat more then trading)
It doesn't really matter, the only difference between the starts is that you begin with different things. For example, in the Argon start, you begin with about 10,000cr, a small M5 (Discoverer) and a TS (Mercury), and they are not even fully upgraded.

Excellent.
GET RICH OR DIE MINING
Or you can actually net some cash from mining?
Umm, I think he is talking about the ticket rewards. There is a X3:TC mission and TF2 shades available from the Prize Booth.
Ah, I see. I would still probably pick the X3:TC mission though.

Well, a reason to fire up TF2 and get that ticket from achievement.

It depends on what you mean by cash. You can get a full load of Ore/Silicon quite easilly, and sell that off at a pretty good price (anything from 100,000cr up to 1.5 million, depending on the size of the ship, how much you have in the ship, and the selling price) and earn some good cash, but compared to when you own your own empire of ships and factories, 100,000 to 1,000,000cr isn't that much.

So, mining is a good starter to get some cash going. Thanks!
For fucks sake. I just looked at this Steam DLC. I cannot believe they are actually adding a new sector/mission to the game, and only allowing people who own games/get achievements to get it. And even if they do release it later, they will no doubt charge us money for it.

I am Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite space simulator in Citadel.

Yes, but as you are doing it, if you have enough money, you could also get some sector/universe traders going to get some bonus cash.

Also, take note of what appears to be mission symbols on ships as well as the targeting reticle.
