are there any mods that decrease the long assed load times?
If anything, I would expect it would increase the loading times rather than decrease them. If you're having problems with loading times, try disabling a few scripts or mods if you have any installed. Also try disabling processes that you don't need running with Task Manager(Ctrl+Shift+Esc on Vista, don't know whether it's available on Xp).
Terran Stations are a system hog - seriously, the Sol System is pretty useless for anything, trading is pointless - Argon space is the place for me.

TIME TO GET A SPACE TAN
I absolutely hate Terran stations, they are just too big.
Fluff wise it makes sense though; the planets are pretty in-hospitable, and the Terrans have been in space quite a lot longer than the Argon, so they've just constantly expanded their stations as the population grows.
I'd like the stations a whole lot more if the autopilot didn't spaz out near them, though :v:

holy shit, there's a cockpit mod?
do want, does it interfere with performance?
holy shit, there's a cockpit mod?

There's like five cockpit mods, but AFAIK they all just recycle cockpits from X2: The Threat, so often clash entirely with what the ship looks like, and they can obstruct your vision. They tend to not work with ship mods, as well.

Just search for "cockpit" in the second post.

Here the one im using is http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=254635 specifically the light gui version takes out most hud elements to make you use the cockpit
Only gripe ive had about is the little tv will get stuck on what was last played so you have a weird alien looking at you until something else plays otherwise its fun and includes a cockpit for everyship even if they dont match
Inferno;30921829']Agreed, I would class it as being on par with the Metal Gear's soundtrack. You seem to have a bit of an obsession with Seizewell's music... I beg to differ(Not saying I don't like it though), I prefer the music in the solar system. I also like the HUB's soundtrack. Don't you just love ambushing Terran ships in the HUB.
By the way, don't know whether anyone knew about this, but Egosoft have allowed the X Encyclopedia to be downloaded from their site without having to buy the X Superbox(They haven't updated the text in the description, you can still downlod it). The moderators said to take advantage of it now in case they decide to withdraw the offer. You can download it from their site here, you might also notice that you can download the X Superbox Trailer theme as well.
More official screenshots of X Rebirth have been released, sorry about the large resolution.

Posted that about 2 pages ago, but yes, they are amazing.

Oh. It's a bit messy though. I just thought maybe there's some sort of an unofficial pack, with actual songs handpicked and tagged. :v:

I do believe most of the infomation is there though. Such as artist names and song titles. The names however are something along the lines of 01.mp3, etc. or something like that I believe

C:Drive(Or whatever drive you store the game on)>Program Files>Steam>steamapps>common>x3 terran conflict>soundtrack. The files are all in there, I renamed the files(copy them into a different folder else you might damage the audio in the game) after finding what they're called(I think they have the names in the ID3 tags with some of them). I'm not going to search for the names though I'm afraid, you'll have to do that yourself...

Fine, X3TC UOST.
Although, it is still technically OST, because it was made for the game, so it's an official soundtrack but in an unofficial pack.

Here's the list just if anyone wants to know.

Ah, you're correct. Damn Lord Hayden confusing me :>
OST stands for original sound track, not official sound track, it states that the music was composed for the game/movie.
To keep somewhat related, I really am at a loss as to what to do. I started as a terran defender, then decided to go with a starters guide that had me start as a humble merchant, but that didn't really get me anywhere. I think I just don't know what I want to do in such a huge game world.
Didn't the gold edition from Steam come with the OST?
I have a soundtrack folder somewhere.
There's also an entire second soundtrack with something like 50 songs in the X-Superbox, composed by one of the players on the forums.

I think the "OST" is just the "Best of" stuff, not every song.
For the past couple of days, everytime I try and play X3:TC on steam it just say that the game is unavailable
what do

Try in offline mode.
Thinking about gifting this to my steam friend with ADHD :V

Restart steam, if that doesn't work, verify the integrity of the game cache (Properties > Local Files).
Failing that, reinstall X3
Is there meant to be a game launcher.exe somewhere in the game files? Like X3TC.exe? Because I can't find it. Can someone upload theirs or something? I think that might be the problem, and for some reason verifying the game files doesnt fix it.
Is it worth gaining rep with The Yaki and potentially fucking up reputation among other factions?
