If it's on coldsnap I'll jump on.
I'm pretty sure he can't fix shaders. There are only a few missing shaders so I don't understand why you care about them so much.
I'm pretty sure he can. And I'm not the only one who cares about it.
Well the final version of 1.10 was already released so he won't. I still don't understand why those few shaders are such a big deal, there are bigger issues than that.
I don't see the Facepunch server.
Same here, just join via direct IP.
-snip- Got it. Put the map on coldsnap. I cannot stress how much I miss playing it.
-snip- Got it. Put the map on coldsnap. I cannot stress how much I miss playing it.
fukken love coldsnap
I updated CE and H:PC and now there are no servers with anybody playing. Shit.
Get HAC2
Is that related to Open Sauce? Are they compatible, or two opposing/separate things? Edit: never mind, so that was in the OP. What's the breakdown on which one I should use? Do they both dramatically improve the graphics? (I thought Open Sauce did that) Are they cross-compatible, meaning that you can play in a game with players using different clients?
I am on the POQ coldsnap/ambush server with two afk guys, or two intense snipers not making the mistake of being distracted by typing.
having a hard time joining the server with map i downloaded from the server itself. any help?
having a hard time joining the server with map i downloaded from the server itself. any help?
What map is it? Also, can anyone else not find the server in the server list? I can connect directly so I know it's up. [editline]17th May 2014[/editline] I could probably remedy the broken maps until we get them removed from the rotation by having it check if there are any players in the first few minutes of the map and automatically switching it if it remains empty. I wouldn't check this for classic maps, since obviously they'll never be broken.
yeah do that
I've temporarily changed the mapcycle to only cycle through classic maps, since I'm not the only one having trouble downloading maps. I intend to have a working mapvote soon though, so that some custom maps will be available.

(I thought Open Sauce did that) Are they cross-compatible, meaning that you can play in a game with players using different clients?
OpenSauce gives a large visual update including things such as motion blur, additional shader effects, etc. HAC2 is more of a plugin meant for anti cheat that just happens to have some fixes thrown in. Currently HAC2s download servers seem to have a more substantial set of maps to download from, however we are currently working on a way to have OS download from a custom server that we put all the maps the server has on
I was warned for 'cursing' on the POQ coldsnap server for saying, "Damn." I hate deepthroat Christians.
Note to anyone using HAC 2 The latest patch of HAC 2 fixes the download issues everyone has been having, so presumably we can return to the custom mapcycle. [editline]17th May 2014[/editline] I've updated the OP with a more complete list of features for both clients. [editline]17th May 2014[/editline] [thumb]http://puu.sh/8QDJo.png[/thumb] whoops
Starting to wish I had my old halo cd key. Okay so I saw this on ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Halo-Combat-Evolved-for-Windows-/261478636757 And the guy was stupid enough to have it on the picture. But the picture is too small right? looks the same as my Halo 2 case, weirdly enough my halo 1 looks completely different though.
Hey guys just as a heads up, im changing the server port to 2202 because the default clashes with ArmA/dayz. This should mean nothing to people who are joining using the server browser. If you are joining through direct IP or a bookmark on HAC2, you will have to update it to arcticrevr.us:2202 this is most likely a temporary change untill i can procure a secondary IP
Free CD key guys!
Never seen a Halo case like that, and my Halo CD is in full color, not etched.
Mine looks like that.(the picture) Maybe it's the UK one.
Awesome, got my copy set up and running, when is everyone usually online?
Awesome, got my copy set up and running, when is everyone usually online?
Usually sometime between the 1990s and 2015.
So I just installed Halo Custom Edition and HAC2, it says the build is 1.09 even though the game is up to date, is that normal?
For the record, I still play too, so that's one more guy at least.
so when are people gonna be playing?
