Sorry, US server. And idk what is is about halos netcode but ingame ping seems drastically worse than icmp or any other standard protocol. I even get 20+ ms and im literally 2 floors up from the server.

The ping is actually pronounced by some degree when having custom_sleep set to a higher value
Typically with default, you wouldn't get pings lower than 20-30. With the SAPP custom_sleep value, your ping would be something like 5-10 ms.

This has been reverted, arcticrevr.us has been pointed to the new ip, and the port has been reverted back to default (2302).
You will likely have to update your hac2 bookmarks, but this will not effect anybody else

There is some player still on halo 2 if anyone wanna play just add monsieurD2 on live, and yes it still work. There was a full server yesterday.
Server crashed about 2 hours ago with no error, just realized it was down. It is back up

That is exactly what our server is trying to remedy. We are working on a custom votemap that will have more customised system to it, but currently our mapcycle has 50 maps in it with mixed game modes, all voteskippable and on a 20 minute timer.
Do plan on being a bit lenient with the international crowd, although we autokick "New001" and "Nuevo001", so the worst of the worst is out of the pool
I can't wait til I'm done with my finals. I'm hoping to join in soon.

The last five times I've tried to get back into Halo CE, I'd always played like two games of sniper-only slayer and went "fuck it."
This time I actually managed to get a vanilla game and it was glorious.

Okay, this is weird ridiculous. There's like 20something servers up right this fucking now and they're all completely empty. So was it true? Was the entire playerbase of thousands just nothing but mexican and brazillian pirates?
