Love the enviroments in this game
Adventuring around The Disc reminds me of when I went camping in my shitty trailer in Northern Minnesota/Canada
18 days elapsed. Over 100 thousand xp banked. And straight from level 20 to 50. Don't mind if I do.

Huh. Iris shows up on the gear screen like an actual party member.
[sp]It's right next to the story location.[/sp]
I found it. Now i'm at Chapter 10.
Major story spoilers, [sp]goddamn did I not expect Luna's death given that the Altissia scenes were some of the most prominent in the game trailers. With Ignis and his eye injuries, and Noctis in sheer depression, the game tipped right over from 'road trip journey of discovery' straight into VII and VIII territory of dark and moody despite the bright colors.[/sp]
Huh. Iris shows up on the gear screen like an actual party member.
So do all the additional companions you meet. Wish you could take them with you in between those sections though.

Damn, did Noct really just (minor post-game spoiler) [sp]quote Back to the Future when taking off with the Regalia Type-F?[/sp]
I'm at Chapter 12, honestly it's probably the very end of the chapter [sp]where you go to Biggs and Wedge to get on the train.[/sp]
Unless they can cram enough plot into the last two chapters to make up for how sheer barebones everything [sp]post-Altissia[/sp] was, which I kind of hope for, I am getting the sinking feeling that this is going to suck. Sure, I got hit hard by what I mentioned in my previous post, but everything after that feels like a haphazard mess of numerous scenarios from the game's development awkwardly slapdashed together in the last few months of development and only barely, loosely tied together. It especially stings how Tenebrae, Luna's home country, was advertised in the trailer back in March as some wondrous part of the world, and then [sp]it's two small floating islands and a train station with everything else on fire for pretty much no explained reason as an in-between for story points.[/sp] The same thing happened to the Imperial country, [sp]just a train station and a seemingly, almost completely unrelated dungeon beneath it that doesn't even seem to tie in to what was above in any sensical way, despite the fact that they took the time to map out and create an entire seeming landmass that they pretty much force you to see.[/sp]
Ok, so I keep hearing about the infamous chapter 13 and how it's so terrible.
Can someone give me a non-spoiler explanation as to why.
Finished the game last week [sp]THAT FUCKING WEDDING SCENE.... WHY SE WHY. There is a lot of theory whether its their after life, or the timeline is altered. Either way, great fucking ending [/sp]

Corridors and sneaking. Plus you only have 1 weapon for like 3 hrs.

Jump scares too

Sounds interesting sans the 1 weapon for 3 hours part.
Sounds interesting sans the 1 weapon for 3 hours part.
It's not. It get's insanely dull 20 mins in. Save points are few and far so if you fuck up you're losing a ton of progress.

You can kill every single enemy just by pressing Square before they attack, since you regain mp for a successful dodge with the ring. Killing every enemy is far better than trying to sneak.
Am i the only one who didn't have trouble with chapter 13? The weapon you get can pretty much kill everything instantly
Am i the only one who didn't have trouble with chapter 13? The weapon you get can pretty much kill everything instantly
I didn't have trouble with it and I didn't really mind it either. At first, that is. It just took way too long for it to end and everything looked the same.
So should I grind the hell up from level 57 for endgame story stuff or just tackle it because it'll be bullshit either way?
So should I grind the hell up from level 57 for endgame story stuff or just tackle it because it'll be bullshit either way?
The endgame stuff is easy, completed it at level 41. The only hard stuff were the random Daemons strewn about ranging from the 40s to the 70s.
I just love the random pictures, some of this stuff is hilarious.

How do I upload pics from my PS4?
To a site like imgur? You have to put em on a flash drive
These sewers are making me murderously wrathful.
I just want my fucking car headlights, not this horrific maze horseshit.
How do I upload pics from my PS4?
You could just upload them via twitter. I just use twitter as an image hosting site at this point.

Yeah, I'd have to give this game a 10/10.
Thank you for playing Final Fantasy XV. Having shipped five million copies worldwide, Final Fantasy XV was truly able to achieve great results. To the many of you who purchased the game, I would like to express my sincerest thanks.
Currently, I am hearing that an exceedingly large bunch of players around the world are enjoying the game to their heart’s content. All of the staff are truly happy that with how content users are with this new way to play Final Fantasy.
As promised from before release, Final Fantasy XV is not going to be released and then that’s the end of it. From here one, we will continue to update the game to provide a richer gameplay experience to players around the world. And as thanks for surpassing five million copies, we decided to strengthen the update plan considerably beyond what we originally planned, and will share a concrete roadmap.
These are short-term, mid-term, and long-term updates separate from the previously reported downloadable content that make the Final Fantasy XV gameplay experience even richer and get you playing longer, together with updates based on requests from players after release, that we will offer free of charge.
Final Fantasy XV Update Roadmap
—Short-Term Goals
First, we will further increase the gameplay satisfaction level of Chapter 13. For that reason, we have already started work on many enhancements, such as significantly enhancing the power of ring magic and so on. We will announce details on these enhancements and when we plan to offer this update at a later time.
—Mid-Term Goals
We will enhance the presentation of the second half of the game, and further enhance the satsifaction level of the story experience. For example, we plan to add event scenes that depict things like, “Why does the character Ravus follow that fate?” Since we’re doing localization work to have voice support in all languages for the the added event scenes, we’re taking this on as a mid-term goal. Project details will be announced once they have been decided.
—Long-Term Goals
We will make important characters that appear in the main story of the game available to use as playable characters. Also, we will consider adding an avatar system to create an original character to play the game.
In addition to this, we plan to actively continue updates so that players can enjoy Final Fantasy XV over a long period of time.
—Other
Play a new game while carrying over your status from a cleared game. We will offer various items that expand the breadth of gameplay, like for low-level clears and invincible suits. We will increase the font size so that messages are easier to read.
We will offer content such as boss battles complete with rewards and achievements, limited time mob hunts, etc. in order for you to enjoy the game live.
It should be noted that the already announced downloadable content will be released as originally planned.
Final Fantasy XV Holiday Pack (tentative)
Final Fantasy XV Booster Pack (tentative)
Final Fantasy XV Episode Gladiolus (tentative)
Final Fantasy XV Episode Ignis (tentative)
Final Fantasy XV Episode Prompto (tentative)
Final Fantasy XV Online Expansion Pack: War Buddy (tentative)
From all of the staff to every one of the players around the world, we hope that you will enjoy Final Fantasy XV more and more. From now on, please give Final Fantasy XV, as well as the Final Fantasy series, your best regards.

Actually I never even thought about this.
We don't hear jack shit about Ravus and then suddenly they slam him into the you with a random fight that wasn't even built up. You would think he would play a bigger part but after his little disagreement with his sister he just kinda falls off the radar and reappears with no context at all.
Oh shit Aranea and Iris as playable characters.
I fucking love character customization so I kinda hope they go through with that avatar idea.
A 10% chance of a Durable Helixhorn drop from Duplicorns.
Getting this [sp]Ultima Blade[/sp] is going to be a chore.
While this update plan looks pretty great. It just sounds like they released the game before they finished it. (Main supporting evidence being statted temporary companions with unique techniques) In my opinion at least.

Okay even though I'm nowhere near that point can you give me a jump scare warning? I'm one of those guys that easily gets shook to hell and back and now I'm super on edge all of the sudden
Seriously I have such a meek heart that I have trouble dealing with even the babbiest of "BOO!!!" scares.

Some of the foods raise item drop rate btw.

Going through it right now, story-free but scenario-specific spoilers [sp]starting with a cheap corner scare and then followed by certain bodies on the ground, axemen grab you and try to self-destruct. No screaming or voices but it is an attempt to startle the player and you have to mash the attack button rapidly or else.[/sp]
Speaking of Chapter 13, [sp]whoever thought mixing Resident Evil and Metal Gear for this one excessively elongated portion was a good idea is retarded. But then i'm pretty much cheesing the stealth by timing my Phases right to counter-attack the Axemen without much issue. I don't know what the devs were expecting by giving players this option.[/sp]
