I still don't get the point of the Type-F. It's like they put it in because their trailers showed it, but had no idea what to do with it besides reaching the Pitioss Dungeon.
I guess like a lot of things in this game, it had a bigger purpose in a design document somewhere until a bunch of the game got cut down for time.
Even with the Episodes and Royal Edition content (which I honestly feel really bad that early adopters had to play without the first time, I couldn't imagine doing so with my first experience being the windows edition) this game still gives off a feeling like there's a bunch of holes in it. Like Altissia pretty much just being a bunch of complete assets to look at when in practice it's a hollow town in which you walk through for one chapter before it all gets torn to shit.

Just finished the game for the first time. Pretty depressing, but masterfully executed. Haven't had a game make me feel like that in a long time.
Holy shit is the Ring of the Lucii supposed to be this powerful? I was doing the last challenge dungeon instakilling some lvl ~80 enemies with the primary attack, and sometimes completely skipping bosses with Alterna.
I thought those four lvl ~90 Iron Giants would be a tough fight but then I popped Alterna and only had to deal with one, holy fuck
The whole ending sequence fucked me so hard
Yeah it's supposed to be that powerful.
Also I loved the animation for that. Seeing that colossal thing shrink before being obliterated was hilarious.
I didn't know they added new bosses and scenes to the end in the royal edition. It looks way cooler than when I last played, kinda spoiled it for myself by watching a stream but oh well I probably wouldn't have played through it again anyway
Also the new Armiger mode and move set are amazing, wish I knew about them sooner, I only realized it existed because I saw a youtube thumbnail with a weird HUD :/
I wish it didn't require an accessory for it because there's almost no reason not to use it.
They really need to fix this memory leak issue. I didn't even know it was a thing until yesterday.
Played 3 hours on launch with absolutely no issues, now I can't even play 20 minutes without fucking crashing.
Could someone please share a copy of their completed save file? I don't want to play through the whole game again
Finally beat Ifrit in Comrades last night. Fierce sigil comes in clutch, but man, that boss was such an HP sponge.
