iirc there are two rooms where you could rest and save, which you should really do for the one before you enter the final gate.
Unless you are talking about in between the phases of final boss fight, then~~ well, don't die!
The sneaking and hiding part is the only that I can't really get past atm.

Sneaking and hiding?! That's not the final chapter!

Chapter 13?
Chapter 13?
Nope.
Anywhoo, there are plenty of bed bunker rooms where you could rest and clock in your exp? You can save in those rooms.
So all-in-all, would you guys recommend this game?
I think it looks gorgeous, but I can't tell how it feels from a video
Combat takes a bit to get used to but I've enjoyed it so far. There's a big open world with a bunch of optional stuff you can do, definitely a step in the right direction since 13. The lighting engine they use looks amazing too
Chapter 13 can go fuck it'self.

Speaking of that chapter, could anyone please drive the car backwards and reach the end? Me and my mate found a critical bug and I was wondering if that cheap fix is still there.
[sp]the game quickly flips your car (which you can physically see) before playing the kaput cutscene[/sp]
Oh you're running? Lemme just attack this enemy.
Oh you're running? Lemme just attack this enemy.
The only way to really run from an enemy efficiently is to book it in the opposite direction and never look at them, or be skimming the outskirts of the battle and not looking at them already. For some reason the game's automated enough that hitting Circle whatsoever near anything Noctis can interact with while he's facing it and in range, even enemies, will have him queue up a run straight for it and an attack even if you're sprinting. I get that they only have so many buttons to work with, but Circle (or B for XBO) for both Attack and Sprint, and X (or A) for Jumping, Picking Up and Talking (which isn't always responsive for no discernible reason) are both obnoxious.

It's really bad near the end of chapter 13. I've died like 4 times just because the game thought I wanted to attack a enemy that wasn't even near me.

Most I can recommend is to keep lock-ons so you target one enemy specifically and use dodge rolls or warps to get around the field rather than sprinting, because Noctis is a tardass. I'm only at Chapter 5 so I can't really comment on your specific situation unfortunately.
I'm severely disappointed at how situational summons are
Getting sick of trying to ride around listening to story-related dialogue and then "NOCT, IMPERIALS ABOVE US"
Fucking retarded Imperial spawning.
Is there a way to select which summon you want to use? The last couple times I did it, it was the wizard dude. I wanna see the titan.
Is there a way to select which summon you want to use? The last couple times I did it, it was the wizard dude. I wanna see the titan.
As I said before.. it's entirely situational.
Titan is more likely to appear when your allies are downed. So long as you're in a space where he can appear the more of them that are downed the more likely it is his summon prompt will appear.
he astrals being mercurial beings with minds of their own. Ramuh grows more and more likely to appear the longer a battle goes on.
The summon condition for Leviathan is that Noctis be in Danger Status - when your health is out and the screen is tinted red. The longer you're in danger status, the more likely it is to appear - though that's a risky proposition, obviously.
So: party members knocked out, battles running long and Noctis in danger state. It doesn't have to be all three at once, but basically as these conditions stack up and last for longer, she becomes more likely to appear.
Noct
Imperials
They're below us
arigatou
That's it
I've come with a new recipe
We shouldn't stick around.
Wolves hunt in packs, Arisen!

mm.... I think you could also use L3 to sprint? I don't know if it works during combat.
You can also sprint when you are in danger state, however it will drain your max HP faster.
Sorry for breaking the chat train, I couldn't come up with anythin'
You can tho I already beat the game. Took me roughly 38 hrs to do. That's with doing some side quests and dicking around with fishing

First timer to the FF series here. I really liked it but there's no denying that it feels unfinished in some parts. Most notably, parts of the story has obviously been cut away and it leaves a lot of questions unanswered. There are things in the official guide that will make you go "why on earth did they not feel the need to tell us that in the game?". And you kinda need to watch Kingsglaive first if you want to know anything about what's going on in the world around you and who some characters are.
Also, there's like a sort of "jaggedness" to the game. Maybe it's a mix of the framepacing issues, the camera, weird audio mixing and minor graphical glitches.
What saves the game (in my opinion) is a pretty world that is fun to explore, surprisingly likeable characters, fun combat and I think the main plotline of you gathering powers to take back the throne still works. I actually found myself caring more about the story in this game than in the Witcher 3. It's just a shame that it could have been so much more. Let's just say that when the game is good, it's really good and when it's bad then it's really bad (yep, chapter 13).
Ch13 [sp]Am I the only one who killed every single axemen by using the dodge?[/sp]
I honestly feel like the game could of done away with most of the stuff from chapter 13. Or at the very least made it more enjoyable.
I watched my friend play chapter 13 and he cheesed through it since he had like 99 health potions.
[sp]he just used the black hole or something with the ring to killed all the robots one by one.[/sp]

I tried doing that and it kept bullshitting me and saying it's missing.
Well, I completed Chapter 7 and [sp]suddenly Gladiolus has scars after being absent, mentions an 'other guy' and then clarifies no more.[/sp]
I'm guessing this is going to be his DLC.
Prompto's is probably gonna be related [sp]to how he's a magitek person or something[/sp]. I don't know about Ignis but I'd imagine it's probably related to [sp]how he went blind[/sp]
