Prompto's is probably gonna be related [sp]to how he's a magitek person or something[/sp]
[sp]I saw someone on neogaf mentioning that the supposed concept art for the DLC showed a snowy location which would indicate that it's connected to the part where he falls off the train.[/sp] It really feels like these parts were originally ment to be part of the full game seeing as the main quest is pretty short. I saw Lirik on twitch finish it in 15 hours and 40 minutes.
gotta say, as much as chapter 13 sucked i really loved [sp]the visuals and sound effects of banishing demons with my black hole ring. bahamut's appearance and the boss you fight were also really cool. if they just worked on making the stealth sequences and ways to deal with the soldiers less tedious the chapter actually would've been good.[/sp]

I activated it right as you enter that little cave and thought it would lift off differently. Crashed, got stuck in one of the corners, and made a horrid noise as it faded to the game over.[/sp]
So is it good? I'm asking because I'm considering getting it and I really didn't like the combat in the first demo that was shipped with the Remaster of that other Final Fantasy game.
So is it good? If you really didn't like that you probably won't like it now.
The further I get into the game the more it feels like massive chunks where you play as other characters were cut out.
The further I get into the game the more it feels like massive chunks where you play as other characters were cut out.
That's what the DLC will fill in.
The further I get into the game the more it feels like massive chunks where you play as other characters were cut out.
I think it was confirmed somewhere that these chunks will be DLC.
and the season pass will be Prompto, Gladio, and Ignis storylines. [editline]5th December 2016[/editline] DLC 1: Booster Pack (Working Title) DLC 2: Episode Gladio (Working Title) DLC 3: Holiday Pack (Working Title) DLC 4: Episode Ignis (Working Title) DLC 5: Episode Prompto (Working Title) DLC 6: Expansion Pack (Working Title) At least that's what I've found on some sites
I just finished the main story. Fuck the weaker chapters, they were awesome too. Nice game.
The after credits scene (or middle credit scene I guess) made me legitimately tear up. Great VA work from the Jap VAs.
The after credits scene (or middle credit scene I guess) made me legitimately tear up. Great VA work from the Jap VAs.
Same here, but I played with the English VAs. They're both pretty damn good.
Taking on the Tower dungeon at level 46 wasn't a good idea. Everything but the Gelatins was ridiculously bullshit in there, and just as I get trumped by a retarded block maze puzzle, I looked up the guide to find out what was ahead of that. [sp]Red Giants.[/sp] Fuck that noise, this is getting arbitrarily difficult because they're just piling ridiculously strong enemies together in groups at this point.
Wait until chapter 13. You'll have a lvl 71 enemy right in front of you
Wait until chapter 13. You'll have a lvl 71 enemy right in front of you
If it's a big, large enemy with telegraphed attacks, that's one thing and shouldn't be too difficult. Seeing as everyone talks about the nightmare that is Chapter 13, though, i'm going to assume that even if you grind, it's a lot worse than something I could normally avoid and counter.

And then there's Nagas. I can't stand Nagas at all no matter what level they are, Toad is bullshit.
There's also Yojimbo
There's also Yojimbo
Oh boy nothing i like more than getting slapped by Gil Toss with absolutely no tell at all. Shit hits hard too.
And then there's Nagas. I can't stand Nagas at all no matter what level they are, Toad is bullshit.
The other snakes are way worse. You know the ones. With the Medusa-like heads. Where can I buy the best weapons? I got the Durandal, but I can't find anything stronger.
The other snakes are way worse. You know the ones. With the Medusa-like heads. Where can I buy the best weapons? I got the Durandal, but I can't find anything stronger.
Those are Nagas. Well a variant of them.
There's also Yojimbo
Yojimbos aren't a problem for me. I can literally just hold Square and Parry all day. The big problem is that fucking Zantetsuken if you botch it, which is an instant death. A Yojimbo is a real problem in a place like the tower, where they're mixed into fights with enemies that are already ridiculously durable and annoying with constant swarming attacks. It makes it all too easy for him to pick you off. [editline]5th December 2016[/editline] The complete lack of a wait function pisses me off. I'm sitting on 90k of EXP i'm hoping to double, but I need to take a photo of Ravatogh's top for Vyv.. and the quest only lets me do it at daylight. It hit 18 on the clock just as I got up there.
Putting any bias aside how worth it is to stick with the game? I'm in chapter 4 I think? and the drive to keep going just isn't there. I don't hate the gameplay by any means but all the characters I've talked to have been flat as paper with your party being the most obvious tropes I've seen in a long time. The setting is also really fucking boring so far with absolutely nothing fantastic or outlandish. These all feel like places that I could just go visit on the globe right now- it doesn't help that there are only humans around. Like the vibe I've gotten outside one or two moments early on is that this is a generic ass western game that remembers sometimes that it's supposed to be final-fantasy related so it'll use a famous term like magitek or "chocobos, you remember chocobos right?"

Chapter 5~8 isn't too interesting if you are not keen on exploring Lucis. Chapter 9 has important plot and a cool new place Chapter 10~12 has a change in tone and plenty of moment to moment Then you've got the infamous chapter 13 If the gameplay could at least carry you, I'd suggest that you only muscle through the story, in easy mode if needed. Otherwise Chapter 5 is a right time to stop if the game isn't for u
postgame is worth it, the dungeons are good
postgame is worth it, the dungeons are good
So there's new, non-Royal Arm dungeons post-game? Also i'm in Altissia now, and i'm [sp]having a hard time finding this fucking wedding dress memorial thing.[/sp]
there's one hidden dungeon, four(?) non-story dungeons, and like eight bonus dungeon shit at the end of each dungeon
