Down works the best and actually looks like a curveball!
what the fuck is up with those recommended videos
[editline]1st March 2015[/editline]
welp
God damn I just can't close this game.

Added sounds to make up for the removal of them in editing.
I wish I could build cool stuff. All my stuff usually breaks apart for no apparent reason a couple seconds after starting. Maybe I use too many pistons.
Keep it simple and focus on stability
Well, I built a relatively stable base that I can use as sort of a starting template for most of the levels. I'll keep experimenting.
Something that I made Wednesday, but I just now got around to recording it.
Works without invincibility

It can take pretty much any amount of stress while flying, and the only limits are the in the pilot
Can you please upload the .bsg? I want to see how that's done.

Are those wing pieces completely flat? Using them to stabilise the craft, right? If that's what's going on right there, that's fuckin' genius!
Ok Guys,
We've just had a meeting about the distribution of Besiege files & code.
I'm pleased to say that we have come up with the rough outlines of a modding license for the game that will allow you guys maximum freedom, whilst protecting Besiege as a product & allowing modification without the violation of our or other's copyright.
We'll be drawing up a final license soon, but for now we'd ask that you hold off on any further distribution until we can get everything sorted.
Your activities are genuinely exciting us about the future of Besiege!
Thanks again for your patience.
Woo, full-on-mod-support here we come!

I made a throttleable engine, I'm guessing it works on the same kind of principle as the Chaos Engine?
Anyway, it works great as long as you don't overthrottle it, because if you do, it'll pause, start going backwards, and then tear itself apart.

Please disregard the fact that firing the cannons tear parts of the ship apart.
try firing them one by one
Or using suspensions for recoil
No it's not a recoil issue, the cannonballs just tend to hit parts of the ship.

Actually, they're used like a collective. I realize that I could have used the bowing propellers design, but I liked the way this looked. I'm not sure if I should release the .bsg because I've had people take credit for my work before. Several times. Sorry

Send me a message, and I'll try to get it to you
my favorite thing to do is to build giant useless flying contraptions and burn them up in mid air

You get extra points for putting that as the music.
Parts of this would've gone well with it too:

Nah man. Jupiter? Nah.
Mars, on the other hand. Cliche as it is, Mars would fit right in.
But I gotta love me some Wagner. He is, after all, my favorite composer.

Mars is something I've always imagined as background music for WWI dreadnoughts fighting. Jupiter gives me those vibes of "We're going on an adventure (and one that's probably in an airship)"

it doesn't actually stop and go back, it's just that the RPM, or rather RPS in this case matches your FPS and seems like it stalls, rather like this.

Considering the asymmetrical movement of some of the parts when it "slows down", I'm inclined to think that it actually is showing down.

I've built an engine that is actually capable of ripping itself apart via centrifugal force rather than bugging out.

Yeah, it is, one of the main problems with these kind of hinge engines.
