Gave it a go myself, seems the best way is to check his post history, find another point in which he says to find his steam page to win a game, see that he posts a hint that his alias is Leo, search for Leo in the Facepunch steam group.

This is like my fifth iteration of it and it finally works. I used hinges that I basically locked in place with braces, then I used a total of 5 tension springs on each side, 2 in the front and 3 on the back locked to a multi piece makeshift "bolt" that uses the explosive bolt. The thing really doesn't work unless you use the tension springs on both sides. I don't know why, I don't how this works, but you need them there.
I just did a small test about that, and put the two sets of front springs on K instead of L, and left the back on L. As soon as I hit L, the whole thing collapses in on itself. I reset it to L instead, and when you do it that way, nothing shatters or breaks. I think it's due to the shift of tensions onto different parts of the structure, but honestly, I'm not sure.
Also, this thing has more braces than I can count. It needs everyone. If I can figure out how to make a webM i'll show it firing. It is not accurate, but it does fire very far. Farther than any of my catapult designs so far.

the downside is it's pretty much one use only, trying to reset it during gameplay is a challenge I might not be up to.

That is a very cool machine.
Tweaked the design on the ballista a bit. The blade works better than the spike, which really pisses me off for some reason. Using braces for everything. EVERY. THING.

The only thing that could make that better is possibly putting the top turret on a steering hinge and binding it to something else so you can aim the canon up and down a bit. I tried making my own and yours is a shit load sturdier than mine
