a cool challenge would be that of trying to complete every level with the same machine. wonder if anyone can pull it off.
Maybe if you construct a behemoth of a machine with armor, close-quarter defences, cannons and a catapult then yeah, sure.
Maybe if you construct a behemoth of a machine with armor, close-quarter defences, cannons and a catapult then yeah, sure.
It also needs to be maneuverable for the stage where you drive across the large bridge, and able to move objects

I finally made something that isn't either a cannon wall or a sawblade zamboni. An adjustable catapult: [vid]http://webmup.com/a1YqY/vid.webm[/vid]

Anyone know if i buy this from their site, i'll get a steam key as well? I've only seen mentions of getting one if you already bought it before it was put on steam.
Anyone know if i buy this from their site, i'll get a steam key as well? I've only seen mentions of getting one if you already bought it before it was put on steam.
You'll get a steam key in some days if you do that I assume. But why not just buy it through steam?
You'll get a steam key in some days if you do that I assume. But why not just buy it through steam?
Because having a DRM-fee version is much better?
Because having a DRM-fee version is much better?
subjective as fuck
Anyone know if i buy this from their site, i'll get a steam key as well? I've only seen mentions of getting one if you already bought it before it was put on steam.
It's confirmed that you also get a steam key, but they said they'll have that working in a couple of days from now.
well you can just slap the drm free version on a usb stick and plug and play unlike steam. An obvious perk, plus you get a steam key, so why not?
If you get both, yeah. If it's a choice then I like my games all in one place, and if I ever need to also use it drm-free for some weird reason, there are.. places. Oh and, it's $3 on Steam for me, but on their site it's $7.
You'll get a steam key in some days if you do that I assume. But why not just buy it through steam?
If it gives you both of them then there's no reason not to buy it from their site.
Well, I made a Little Copter. Stage 1 was getting it to move forwards and backward [thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/14054906/Besieged/Besiege_01_29_2015_08_14_50.png[/thumb] Stage 2 got it left to right and forward and backward. [thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/14054906/Besieged/Besiege_01_29_2015_08_17_03.png[/thumb] All in all, considering I thought of the idea in about 3 seconds it worked out quite well.
Because having a DRM-fee version is much better?
Even if it's on Steam, it doesn't have to be DRM protected. Many Steam games have no copy protection at all, but do have the benefit of automatic updates. [editline]29th January 2015[/editline]
If it gives you both of them then there's no reason not to buy it from their site.
Dunno, sounds more convenient to buy through Steam.

I don't know if it takes my key binds with it when you save it so you might have to finnick around with that. Also, the helicopter is finnicky. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, the physics just has a fit with some things it seems. [editline]29th January 2015[/editline] Holy shit if you fly high enough your rotors will freeze off. Made a silly video using the motion blur technique:
God damm, using pistons to fire bombs never would have occurred to me.
Made a silly video using the motion blur technique:
So can we look forwards to seeing you at SGDQ 2015, then? :v:
So can we look forwards to seeing you at SGDQ 2015, then? :v:
In all seriousness, this was done at 5% time and then later sped up to real-time. It'd qualify as a TAS. AGDQ does accept some TAS', but really this game is sort of too niche for something like that :P Doing a real-time speedrun of it would be interesting. At the very least, maybe the dev should add leaderboards based on time?
[t]http://puu.sh/fdbFB.jpg[/t] This is what it took for me to beat this zone. It was a bitch to set up, but it was beautiful to watch it all go off.
[t]http://puu.sh/fdtgJ.jpg[/t] Version 2.0
[t]http://puu.sh/fdtgJ.jpg[/t] Version 2.0
I used a bomb combined with fire ball [editline]29th January 2015[/editline] clarification: I rolled the fire bomb over the archers and the troops knocked down the bomb
I tried to make a helicopter with a swash plate, didn't work :(
I made a very, very effective flying machine. Better than all the rest. Video coming. Here's the bsg. in the mean time http://www.mediafire.com/download/rj1nxqqh0pdtuu5/FlyingBomberV3.bsg [t]http://i866.photobucket.com/albums/ab230/abyssal8908/Besiege_01_29_2015_09_55_33_zpsmbp34ffm.png[/t] [editline]29th January 2015[/editline] honestly, until this game had wing blocks, I thought flight would forever be impossible but with these blocks, jesus christ you can make some really, really cool shit.
I used a bomb combined with fire ball [editline]29th January 2015[/editline] clarification: I rolled the fire bomb over the archers and the troops knocked down the bomb
I built a giant clusterfuck that when spawned, would explode into a dense cloud of 1x2 blocks with sawblades on both sides, all of which would angrily boucy around and slaughter everything. So much fun on queens fodder
