So far I attended Power Chords a few times. You listen to music in there, each week has another theme going and you can submit songs to be played. The event is each Monday at 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm UTC.
So I've got two questions
1. Does the avatar importer work if I use a .blend file instead of an FBX export?
2. Does the game support the changing of shape keys ingame? (Blendshapes) and if so, how would one go about making those shape keys change? A script?

1. Unity can load .blend files.
2. Shape keys are used for lipsync visemes (and eye tracking), but setting up those blend shapes must be done in Blender.

2. In case you want to use specific shape keys as perhaps, for a custom facial expression assigned to either an emote or to an action, Shape keys can be perfectly setup on Unity's animator (specifying the porcentage of the shape key, and else)

Check your shapekeys. I had the same issue and there were a few odd ones that turned the model into a writhing mass of tris roughly the size of Jupiter, and just getting rid of them did the trick

-Fixed issue where certain pickups only could be picked up by master.
-Fixed issue where static portals didn't take users to the same instance.
-Local testing has been fixed (requires new SDK).
-Fixed issue where objects deleted caused performance drop.
-In the world details we now show 20 automatically selected instances of a world that are sorted to be more meaningful to users, instead of all instances of that world.
-Fixed bugs and updated the automatic instance selection where users were loading into an empty hub or other worlds.
Automatic instance selection is used in the following cases:
- when joining the HUB (or any room) on launch
- used to select the instance that appears in the upper left on the worlds menu
- used to pick the instance that a dynamic portal goes to
- used to pick the instance that a static portal goes to when someone walks through it
And finally...
-Due to security updates, you can no longer request invite from people in private instance. In the last patch for various reasons we deliberately and temporarily enabled a user to request an invite from anyone in an invite only instance. However, that meant invite only instances weren't truly controlled by the author/owner. We are aware that might be slightly confusing or frustrating. Going forward some systems, including instances and notifications, will be getting updates to improve VRChat travel and flow.

Why is it when I play with VR I can never find a natural position for my arms to hang? They're always scrunched up on my avatar.
As I understand it it's a matter of your proportions not matching the ones of your avatar, with a tweak being to adjust your ingame height
Vive trackers and straps arrived today, gonna have to wait until Friday to use 'em but full body tracking wooooooo.

Er... Grim, was the guy called Arthur Locke, by any chance, using a Big Boss avatar? The time you're describing seems to match up perfectly when with I met a couple of new players in Grass and took them around a few maps. And my voice has been described as soothing occasionally.

I massed a Tokiko army and raided worlds while dancing here and there.
Also got a swedish guy who sings and plays guitar as Tokiko. While we dance in invaded worlds
This game can be so much fun when you mingle with the community. We made a discord for this army if anyone intrested.

Ron gets a notification without any ability to invite, and must tell Tupper that VRPill wants an invite. Tupper can send VRPill an invite, and VRPill can join.
[B]Invite+[/B] : Somewhat private. The owner and any occupant can accept invite requests to let people join.
Example: Tupper owns a [B]Invite+[/B] instance, and Ron is in the instance with him. VRPill wants to join the instance, and sends an invite request to Ron. Ron can click "Accept", and VRPill will be invited into the instance.
[B]Updates[/B]
- Friends list is now sorted alphabetically.
- User lists on the social page are now expandable.
- The small Red Arrows that allow expanding of rows in menus have been replaced with Expand and Collapse buttons to make that functionality more clear. Try it out in worlds, social or avatar menus.
- You can now join off friends in Friend instances if the owner is also your friend.
[B]Technical Changes/Fixes[/B]
- Object owner disagreement between clients has been fixed. This was causing pickups to fly around worlds.
- Fixed notifications showing up blank in some cases.
- The forced audio source falloff curve in the SDK has been fixed.
Please keep in mind that our systems may be changed and improved in future patches.
Close VRChat and restart Steam to get the latest update! Look for Build 507 at the bottom of your Quick Menu to ensure you’re on the right version. Also, make sure you update your SDK (new version coming very soon)! [url]https://vrchat.com/home[/url]

So, as you know, sometimes MMD models come with "extras". In this case, beyond the normal fully modelled vagina and nipples, this model came with pubic hairs. Alright, you say, it's just a material that I may choose not to apply on the model. But you'd be wrong. The person who made the model, despite being very skilled because it is a very good, high-quality model, very clearly knows nothing about optimization, as they made the pubic hairs out of fucking polygons. How many polygons? [url=https://i.imgur.com/CjwhVcF.png](NSFW) A fucking ton of them, in several different arrangements (heart pattern/stripe pattern/hitler 'stashe/etc).[/url]
After shaving off the pubes, the model came down to 40k polygons. That's 120k polygons of pubes.
