I think that was better than had you actually been able to hear or see him properly.
Doing the BLJ trick twice with just one hand on the unorthodox controller. HOW

[editline]11th January 2014[/editline] Also I love how the commercial break after the one handed run says. "Psh, TASbot says it can do that with no hands"

Wii, a game I absolutely love!
Holy Christ. That minecraft run started off as bed%, ended as dead%. New WR while he was at it.
I believe the only term to describe what's happening right now is magical.
Chrono Trigger: 6 hours and 15 minutes Effectively makes it 2:40 AM over where I am. I won't get to witness the bonus after the game. ;_;
here is my splits
Nice. Any interesting tricks in Scribblenauts or is it mainly just playing the game relatively normally and solidly?
Nice. [editline]12th January 2014[/editline] Also, since everyone seemed to go to sleep for the last run, here's the good news. [t]http://i.imgur.com/267OJU7.jpg[/t] AGDQ broke one million dollars.
Nice. AGDQ motivated me to run HL1 for fun (again). I got really frustrated when I couldn't get npcs to open doors. Only from watching the HL1 run (Missed it at first), did I find out that you can only do the glitch when loading into a map.

I dunno if the speedrun thread is the right place to post about this but I'm super mad I was sleeping during the AGDQ Super Mario World TAS, I just got around to watching it and I'm floored.
I've been watching AGDQ for the first time, addicted to the stream, the speed runs are fucking incredible, i think i almost want to get into it myself.
:v:
No lions were harmed in the making of this speedrun

Speaking of speedruns: This guy got some balls to do a single-segmented run of Torchlight. Mind you, TL1 has fully random levels. Plus it's amazing to watch how runner's going faster than Sonic kicked in the ass through almost whole game.

It's like he's that dude who thinks he's super-cool and girls just turn him down when he walks up and tries to talk to them like this. But apart from that, p cool.

Plus it's amazing to watch how runner's going faster than Sonic kicked in the ass through almost whole game.
Well, one game I'm trying to route at the moment is Terraria (Which I'm counting as, all bosses defeated, and True Night's Edge built, since the old, pre-hard mode run had the same conditions, except regular Night's Edge built.) without a set save. Mostly just because I want to see if it's possible to properly run it. I did pull a 16 hour run while stuck in bed with flu for three days back in November, but now there's an assload of new bosses, so I've been planning things. Luck is a factor in it, but I try to play around it by running through the dungeon asap to loot unlocked chests, you can get quite a few early bars if you can dodge the Guardian.
I was going to learn a run, but instead I think I'll attempt to make a game that is fun to run. Something like Mormadora/Cave Story, but I'm still brainstorming. If anyone has input I would love to hear it. I got the basic physics down in about two hours yesterday, CaveStory sprites are just placeholders. Are there any "official" rules or anything? Also is there any way to do luck manipulation in Terraria? Such as getting a blood moon earlier to get the Eye done and over with?

I got to like 1hour 30mins and thought fuck this
Nice. Any interesting tricks in Scribblenauts or is it mainly just playing the game relatively normally and solidly?
it's basically the most broken game i've played scribblenauts unlimited, not the first one the entire run is glitches and trickes

It's mostly fine, but I'd really love to do the skip where they jump on the vortigaunt in the test chamber, but I don't think it's possible without the speed bunnyhopping allows.
