Grand Theft Auto Series Megathread V12 - GTA Online: We Have a Hacking Problem

I decided to start replaying Chinatown Wars.
And holy crap, I'm still impressed at the sheer scale of it for a DS game. Like, it's such a good gem that I can't believe I never replayed in the 7 years of owning it.
I really like the mission where you ambush the yacht to steal gunrunning supplies.
Kind of wish there was some sort of alternative mission where you had to invade the aircraft carrier again to steal a Hunter and bring it to the bunker.
I was kind of hoping for more or less stealing from Ammunation or the military. Instead almost all of the calls consist of "hey faggot, the lost/vagos/bad hombres have big guns, steal em thx" when you could have a bit more variety. Shit like the armored technical and the tank w/cargobob were fucking glorious. The reskinned crate stealing missions? Not so much.

Could someone help me bypass the resource usage thing in GTA IV? I've tried all the stuff people have said on other sites and nothing works. Only says I have 512 MB available. I fixed it before a while ago, but I can't remember how I did it.

Feels like you're trying too hard now.

it's not meant to be taken seriously, it started as a joke between me and my pals where we'd call trevor "duff" whenever we'd play him when he'd have the beard and cowboy hat
it's supposed to be corny & over the top, like a B-rate from the 80s
So a really bad inside joke, ok.
i guess but i figured the style i was going for didn't require much else besides some sick jumps and crashes
i'll just see my way out of here

Get that savagery out of here Reagy.

Its less the style its the whole everytime you've posted a video with your setup its some overly edgy shit that looks really dumb without context.
I wonder why they didn't include a version of the LA Convention Centre in GTAV.
It is there in San Andreas
Does anybody have fun sp mods recommendations?

Have you tried creating a text file called commandline.txt in the root folder? You just need to add the line "-nomemrestrict".

I tried that. Didn't do anything.
Are we ever gonna be able to mod the insurgent pick up and the technical or is it just a pipe dream?

Apparently they're part of the drip feed vehicles that we're going to be getting in the coming weeks.

Reminds me of a Timesplitters character.
I was thinking of installing some mods. How easy are they to use? Can you enable/disable them ingame? I would love to be able to sit on the couch and play with the controller and use the mods and stuff, but I have a feeling I wont be able to. Anybody able to shed some light on it

Some mods do have controller support, although you can't usually just disable/enable them at will without deleting the mod files from the game directory.
Oh really, so if I want to have the Tsunami mod, the Meteor mod, Ragdoll mod and Carmageddon mod, they will all just be enabled at once?
Oh, sorry I misunderstood. Yeah I'd wager they have their own on/off button included.
Ah okay, so can you disable and enable them in the pause screen or something? Controller support should be fine since the steam overlay allows you to map buttons.
They usually just use one of the Function keys to enable/disable
What if there is overlaps between mods using function keys to enable and disable

Usually you can rebind them in a config file

Man, GTA 4 aged horribly graphics wise.
i felt that the cops & peds in gta 4 felt more life like than in gta 5.
