Static mounts are so terrible. Wish they packed a lot more punch, or had some sort of shotgun spread or something, because you'd probably be better off being restricted to semi-automatic pistols for driveby weapons than being forced to only use forward-facing static machine guns on the vehicles that have them.
They should just lock onto things like homing launchers do, IMO, or be player controlled in an axis. I have no idea why rockstar even remotely thinks they under any circumstance are useful when they do less damage than player weapons and can't even aim for the head.
They should've just made the guns function like the JB-700's in story mode. Those had a good kick to them and were satisfying to use.
I thought those were really scripted 'blap blap blap' sprays
Turns out FiveM doesn't work all that well on Windows 7 so that sucks.
I tried gtav with fivem and it turns out i had fun
The nightshark let's you use the mounted machine guns AND your own weapons during the mission, hoping it's the same for freemode
When I tested the Ardent and Nightshark in SP with a trainer, both of them allowed you to use other guns instead of the shitty mounted guns so I can't imagine it'll be different in regular GTAO freemode. I still don't understand why the Ardent, a nice sports classics car without any other special features, has forward facing guns though.
My guess is it's just a reference to James Bond's Esprit.
It's a pretty shit reference considering the only thing it can do is fire shitty 16 damage machine guns. If they were trying to go for a nice reference, they could have at least made it amphibious and/or submersible. [editline]d[/editline] Apparently the Nightshark is out now for $1,245,000.

Nightshark is live. I'll attempt to see what if anything is on sale. Unable to confirm, but apparently the Nightshark is unable to be modified in the MOC. No proximity mines or anything like that to add. Supposedly a new adversary mode as well, will check and update within like five minutes. ALL MOC upgrades are 25% off from the looks of things. (Warstock) Dewbauchee Vagner on sale from 1,535,000 to 1,151,250. (Legendary Motorsports) New Adversary Mode "Overtime Shootout", description as follows. "They say any form of competitive driving requires precision above all else. It's something to bear in mind when you take your turn to launch a sports car hundreds of feet through the air and attempt to parachute in onto the bullseye of a tiny platform. Thread the needle."
-snip-
The new Adversary mode is literally Overtime Rumble but with more platforms, and everyone goes one at a time. And no knocking eachother off the platform because you literally aren't there once your turn is up, and your point is saved. Although with the changes to how the turns are taken, it seems like they actually tried to unfuck what was originally wrong with it, and that was if it was in any way unbalanced in terms of team composition, one team was guaranteed to lose. Now you get a guaranteed five attempts regardless of how many people you have, so in theory you could win with it being 1v5. E: Quick question, what are the thoughts of people in this thread about the glitches such as vehicle duplication and the now defunct glitch that let you get a solo session via quitting a playlist? It seems to be an issue that mostly isn't frowned upon on the subreddit, but I want to see the opinions of people in this thread about them. Do you condone, disapprove or have any opinions on the matter?
I fully approve of bypassing R* bs and the people that have nothing better to do than ruin other's days.

Do you condone, disapprove or have any opinions on the matter?
I don't think people here are going to care about glitches if they're being used for money making and aren't fucking over others. General opinion, at least from what I've seen, is that the game is full of so much bullshit grinding that it is 100% okay to get money through less than legitimate methods.
TBH I'd be fine with the grind of crates and such if there wasn't so much bullshit in the way, such as the I/E mission where the police find the vehicle before you and the only way to kill the driver is to exploit how the AI works and shoot before you're in range of the car moving, and the fact that my car can be destroyed by someone in an Oppressor instantly without any recourse because they have a flying fucking rocket-launching bike that I don't. If they made even the slightest effort to make it less of a crap-shoot to try and grind in a lobby with more than two people, I'd be all for it. Twice I had to abandon a lobby entirely because of two assholes ruining I/E work. The first time he sat behind me in passive mode so I couldn't even try and shoot him, so I told him to fuck himself and went into storymode. 20K out of 86K down the drain there. Second lobby I had someone who couldn't aim with the Oppressor spawn one right next to me (I SURE BET THEY TESTED THE MC VEHICLE SPAWN DIDNT THEY????!?!?!?!?!?!?) and I only managed to deliver because he couldn't work the rocket boost and I was uphill, already half a mile away from the delivery point.
There are so many changes that could be made to current freemode work options that would make it a lot more tolerable and possibly even fun. It'd be nice if we could choose delivery method instead of being randomly assigned shit(I don't want to drive a UPS van or fly an extremely slow air vehicle). Another neat thing they could do is allow players to load loose crates/supplies into their own van or truck. Those two things alone would make the grinding feel a lot less tedious for me. Of course, I don't expect any of these changes to ever happen though. Rockstar rarely ever changes or balances things and if they do, it's usually a fucking disaster. It certainly doesn't help that GTAO also has a community full of people who defend every decision Rockstar makes.
Rockstar does some weird psychology. When you look at the game at first sight it seems very simple, it even makes you feel like you can become a quite successful business man in a single day "I'm gonna export cars, make a few millions, then invest on a bunker and while they do research I'll live off from exporting cars and selling coke". It sounds like an easy plan. Except that stealing a car takes forever because the game makes you drive across the entire galaxy just to steal a car which will cost $12,000 to repair because the enemies love shooting at it. Once you sell the car for $100,000 given you got lucky and found a Top Range car, chances are you'll have to use Ghost Organization because Rockstar patched the bug that let you made solo session and you have to spend $12,000 to hide from Hydras and Oppressors. Then you have to wait like two centuries to sell another car. Resupplying the bunker takes forever to do alone and people will try to kill you. Resupplying coke lockup wouldn't be as bad if it wasn't for the fact that the game makes you drive a fuckton and you risk being blown up on the way back. Bunkers are also probably the least profitable thing for a loner. Takes forever the resupply alone, impossible to sell more than a few hundreds in stock alone, too expensive even with no upgrades at all and steal missions can take forever. Let's not talk about the fact that supplies are consumed very quickly and produce very little stock and research progress. It looks like it's easy, but it's actually very tedious, kind of boring and painful.
GTA online pretty much became a mobile game. Either wait for an eternity to get your shit or pay a fortune to get it immediately.
Although at least personally i enjoy the grind now that i have a bunker and biker businesses, they make it fun.
I find that having a bunker, coke business, and a vehicle warehouse makes it a lot less tedious to earn money because I can use vehicle sale profits to pay for supplies on my business and bunker. I wouldn't exactly call it fun though and it still takes a decent amount of time to actually be able to afford most things.

It looks like it's easy, but it's actually very tedious, kind of boring and painful.
It really depends on how committed you are to having money, and what your end goal is. I mainly 'grind' just to chill, as you can take the game mostly at your own pace, and session hop until you find a decent bunch of people (which, granted, can take quite some time). I'm on PC, and making a solo session still works by blocking ports via firewall, so if I require money for something I very much want, I'll go solo to make some quick bucks. I'm not currently aware of the easiest way to solo session the console versions, having never looked into the methods to begin with. Also, there is a trick to Import/Export to make it so you only source Top Range. Simply collect one of every model of car from Standard and Mid Range, and the game will only give you Top Range as source vehicles. For example, there are around 3 variants of all models you can source, you only ever want one of these, no duplicates at all. You do not need to keep your warehouse full at any point, but I would recommend collecting one of all Top Range and only selling the fastest and best handling ones, as they speed things up, and are less likely to crash. I would not recommend selling the X80 as it is a slippery beast, but it does have the best acceleration. Osiris, T20, Tyrus and ETR1 are more stable, but slower in top speed, so the choice is yours in terms of time vs. risk. Never ever sell the Stirling GT or Roosevelt after you have sourced them, you are guaranteed to be a sitting duck while selling those. The most important part of the money making process is making it not feel like a grind. I don't mind doing it a few hours a week just to keep ahead of the every increasing price inflation of key items released in updates, but it can get very tedious if you make it feel like work. Having a variety of means to earn money is the easiest way to make the time fly, and create profit you can see building. My current method is: -Sell Top Range car for 80k profit (20 min cooldown then starts on sale finishing) -Source the last car you sold (if you have 1 of each, it WILL be the last model you sold)(takes about 5 mins if no complications) ---The following 15 or so minutes can be spent in many ways--- 1. Do Special Cargo crates to slowly build a warehouse (I'd recommend having 2 Medium warehouses so you can bypass the crate source cooldown and just keep hopping between both warehouses if need be). Collect 2 crates at a time, not 3. One crate gives you the best profit margin but takes forever to fill a warehouse, 2 is a happy medium, and 3 is a waste of time and money per crate. 2. Resupply the bunker. The bunker functions as passive income, much like biker businesses but with even less involvement, stock is generated as long as you are in GTA Online, you can be doing heists, races, anything as long as its Online, and stock generates. I've done a bit of reading and apparently if you only hold 25% or less total stock, you will only be given one or two vehicles to deliver during a sell mission. This means you should not keep hold of more than $175,000 worth of stock if you are a solo player, so that selling solo is actually possible in the 15 minute time limit. 3. VIP work. This is probably the least profitable use of your time in the long run, but if you don't have warehouses, businesses or bunkers yet, it's a quick ~$22,500-$25,000 if you own a Buzzard Helicopter or fast and armed air vehicle. Run Headhunter to kill targets around the map, very easy and quick in Buzzard. Or run Sightseer, even easier, play a hacking mini-game to then have a blip appear on your map, go to blip to pick up a package, repeat 3 times to win, again, very quick and easy in Buzzard. ---By the time you do at least two of these things the cooldown on I/E should be up and repeat the process--- (This is also definitely not the most efficient time vs. money strategy, but one that works for me, feel free to read up on it elsewhere or take your own spin on it) There is a quite a big investment price to make everything streamlined, but you can usually settle for the cheapest properties tied to a business/warehouse/bunker to start things off. I would highly recommend buying the Buzzard Helicopter as it makes almost everything quicker and less painful, especially traversing the map. It can also be summoned instantly for free when you're a CEO by using your Interaction Menu and going to SecuroServ CEO>CEO Vehicles>Buzzard. Basically, making money in the game is still a grind, and there is no escaping that, if you cannot stand any sort of grinding, this may not be the game for you if you want the OP toys. But if you can get into a rhythm, and create some variety for yourself, it goes quicker than you would expect, and you can build a pretty sizable amount of money a few hours once you get a nice system going.

I know that the A.I NPC's were overpowered on I/E missions and stuff. But even the Gang attacks in freeroam aren't even funny anymore, it just applies to all of those npc's. R* ruined it. Great job. Like they shoot me like 50m with perfect accuracy. Ridiculous. And what do you get after completing it? Nah, you'll get 500 RP like you always do when doing the gang attacks. Gang attacks aren't worth it. It was fun while it lasted...
Were gang attacks ever worth doing at any point in this game's life? It's hard to imagine even in the earliest stages of the game why anybody would be doing them. A pathetic RP reward, and the cash reward just barely seems to reach 1,500 on some locations. If you're just cheesing it with a vehicle or something, that's like 2-3 minutes of work, and you still risk getting riddled by that one NPC with a minigun if you're high enough level. You're better off just robbing stores.

Currently, there is no real reason to do them on purpose unless you want the award for doing five of them in a day. It's really something that Rockstar should remove or redo, but I'm not expecting either.

Of course, the fact they spawn in every direction after you've started is pretty lame; it'd be better if they were stationed/patrolled in specific places so you could clear as you moved in.
My friend got invited to some group chat on his PS4 about some "GTA Nazi Crew" I looked at the website and man, there really are some lowlifes playing GTA man Acting all serious with shit like "WE'RE AN ARMY" and forced uniforms that are to be worn at all fucking time Even keeping lists of crews and players who "Have been defeated" I am just surprised by how stupid some of these people are Then again considering they seem to have some bot set up to invite random people to these group chats (While my friend doesn't even play GTAV on PS4) they must not be relevant at all
I once got blown up while buying underwear and then immediately got sent an invite for a crew called "DROPPED YOUR KD" and "OWNED BIOTCH" Those people look stupid and annoying.

Nearly everyone left, and no Yes responses. Do they think this actually works?
I'm glad I haven't seen too many of those serious roleplaying crews on PC as much as I did on 360. It was always annoying receiving messages about how some dude got "assassinated" and how don spaghetti never forgets. The downside is that we have too many of those awful try hard crews that record montages of their first person A/D strafing with a heavy sniper while killing random people who probably just wanted to fuck around in freemode.
So I decided yesterday that I'd run Fleeca again for some quick cash. I came across a level 3 who joined and decided to make him the driller for shits and giggles. He shoots me a message and says he's done it before on a level 163 character. Sure enough, he gets the hacking and drilling done fairly quick, and we both get out with a nice 71K, with him getting 171 or so. Today, I see an invite from the guy doing Fleeca, I decide why not. Sure as shit, it's him. I know this because I recognize the suit he's wearing, a default black and white one, no tie, a hat, and camo gloves. He's now level 13, and gives me a 100K cut on the finale. I honestly didn't expect this level of kindness from people in this game. It also seems like there are more competent people doing heists. Yesterday I ran into a guy who was level 350 something, and he starts talking. Everyone has a mic, a level 58 and a level 168 in addition to him. We all managed to do the finale of Pac Standard after a few mishaps, with him giving me a car I could use to spawn everyone near the bikes via blowing up and suiciding. After that, and multiple screwups thanks to the level 168, we kick him out of the party for killing everyone after the finale. Then the level 350 guy helps complete the Prison Break with me babysitting a level 28 who didn't join the party. With him providing air support to help compensate for the fact that I was effectively down one man in terms of firepower. Despite that, said level 28 knew what he was doing, and stayed down while me and the heli did most of the work.
