Fuck, even at that rate you'd not get very far off $100. Gunrunners alone could drain that hard.
It seems like you're better off hacking/glitching money anyways. So many legit players ended up losing a shit ton of their cash right before this update dropped and Rockstar haven't done a fucking thing about it. [editline]d[/editline] Just noticed that I got a reply on my ticket(didn't even get an email notification) after four days of complete silence. [t]http://i.imgur.com/tBiOjzP.png[/t] Of course, it's still a shitty copy/paste reply.
Imo there's nothing wrong whatsoever with hacking to get money. R* clearly balanced their entire game around shark card purchases, without any legitimate way to make money at anything approaching a respectable rate. Which wouldn't be so bad if it was free to play, but it also cost like 80 fucking dollars CDN. To add insult to injury, a hundred USD only nets you like 9 mil, enough to buy and upgrade maybe one supercar. To anyone who works and makes their own money, it really is insulting. I'd argue not only is it okay to hack, you've got a moral duty to not give Rockstar (or Take Two, more accurately) any more money than you already have. It only encourages such shitty business practices. Sure, you could argue, with merit, that they've got to pay for new content and server infrastructure somehow. But if that really were their intent they wouldn't be so miserly with their shark cards. [editline]31st August 2017[/editline] If shark card rates were changed so that a dollar of real world money was equal to a million dollars in game, then it wouldn't be so bad.
If ingame prices were more reasonable, I wouldn't've stopped playing online a year and a half ago when they started jacking them up into the millions. IMO as a dev it's fine to have micro-transactions, but they shouldn't be required to experience the majority of the content, and it should be possible to earn enough money with non-ridiculous amount of time grinding to afford all the stuff. Micro-transactions should just be a shortcut, not a mandatory part of the game.
GTAO's idea used to be "Go from broke lowlife to rich man" but now the prices have increased from reasonable to impossible

Screw it, the 2.7 mill isn't worth pursuing this further when rockstar clearly does not care to even take notice that they removed the money from countless innocent players.
So according to Reddit, someone who did the Criminal Mastermind challenge got hit by Rockstar's "Kill everyone with a flamethrower while doing the Nazi salute" policy of money purging. Normally I'd take it with a grain of salt, but one of the subreddit mods stepped in and basically said "holy fuck this is bad what the fuck" so I have a feeling it's legit.
its ether I'm hacking or switch to five m
I found a hack a couple of weeks ago that only gave money, did nothing else. It didn't drop money bags, it just added money directly into your account and it left nothing in terms of deposits or transaction logs. To my knowledge whatever I used was undetected because I used it to give myself like $400,000,000 over the last couple weeks and got what I needed out of it before the new update. Obviously I'm still here.
used the same hack as did nearly all of my friends, I'm surprised that they actually didn't do anything about this and just let us keep the millions. It's so dumb how they go against hacked money.
i need my money hacks and i need them now, im not paying any more money for virtual money that i can use to get more virtual money paying for microtransactions? in this economy???
used the same hack as did nearly all of my friends, I'm surprised that they actually didn't do anything about this and just let us keep the millions. If you're on console or don't want to risk getting banned for giving yourself money on PC, there's a new money glitch going around that's fairly simple. tutorial starts at 2:30, and sorry, this guy's voice is annoying, but it's the best I could find. Also, he doesn't mention it in the video, but you need to have the personal vehicle storage cab on your MOC with a stock Elegy inside before you start doing this glitch. If you have the vehicle workshop, it won't work. The best part is, each time you duplicate a car, the plate is randomized, so R* won't bat an eye.......hopefully.
Oh good, it requires having enough money to have a bunch of things I can't possibly afford. Fuck it, how do you actually give yourself money
Oh good, it requires having enough money to have a bunch of things I can't possibly afford. Fuck it, how do you actually give yourself money
Be a good little goy and buy Shark Cards.
I imagine a vehicle duplication glitch would probably be less effective on PC as there are more checks in place. I remember the previous vehicle duplication glitches required you to use street modified Schwartzers because it was the most valuable thing you could find on the street and anything that was considered high end wouldn't work.

Micro-transactions should just be a shortcut, not a mandatory part of the game.
It's not so much that the system itself is bad. The problem is the value of shark cards has not inflated proportionally to how crazy expensive anything is now. In the early days a $20 shark card purchase got you most of what you needed. You could get a good apartment, the armored kuruma, and have enough leftover to start heists and also keep yourself supplied. Now a $100 shark card gets you...nothing. It cost me 40mil just to get all the smuggling stuff and all the currently released planes and new cars and upgrade them. Yes, not everyone is going to buy everything and they certainly shouldn't, but to get a good start you at least need 8mil or so, and you either get it with a $100 purchase or you hopefully already had it. That's ridiculous. At the current valuation of a GTA dollar, I spend a quarter any time I do an insurance claim on any of the gun running vehicles. $20,000 GTA dollars is 25 American cents, not including taxes on Shark card purchases. Think about that. You spend a quarter every time someone blows up your Oppressor or Insurgent. Even a lot of the new supers have close to that as well. Each time, it's putting a quarter in the machine. Yes, you can make a reasonable amount of money doing I/E and Gunrunning and MC stuff, but the problem is there's too many people out there with toys and nothing else to do but screw with others. Making money legit is a nightmare. If it's not getting fucked by someone in a Hydra and constantly spawn killing you with their little crew running on the ground with an Insurgent and APC, you'll randomly explode because a modder joined and decided to kill everyone in the lobby. The only way to do is to have an empty session. And that doesn't last forever. A $100 shark card purchase should keep you set for life. EVE Online has a similar system but you pay for a tangible item that you can activate and use to add game time, or sell on the open market to other players for a shitload of ingame money. $30 gets you two of these things, and selling one can fuel you for a very very long time. It works in EVE because the ingame value naturally adjusts to inflation. They have it all wrong in GTA. You know what I'd pay for? Ltitle useful buffs. Like pay $5/$10/$15/$20 for varying durations of double money for certain jobs. Spend $5 and you get double money for selling gun shipments for a period of 5 hours. Spend $20 and you get the same thing but it lasts for a week. I would pay for this. Even if you get screwed and lose half the shipments you still get good money from the ones that did make it. Either this, or give me 100mil for $100. A dollar per million is more than fair. That's how it should be.

Didn't the thumbnail signal enough?

Can anyone on XB1 or PS4 speak from experience on how likely it is to be purged/banned for the dupe glitches? I'm kinda sorta tempted to throw away morals just so I can stop having to stomach an insufferable grind just to get a new car, but I don't want to be murdered in my sleep and have my account banned.
I'd like to take a moment to gripe about the fact that the fully upgraded Rogue has an airspeed nearly twice that of my Hydra. And a stall speed greater than my Hydra's top speed. A WWII-era prop plane easily beats out what's supposed to be the most high tech jet in the game. I really hope they let us at least buy handling, speed and armor upgrades for all of the older aircraft later on, or I'm going to be sad.
COS FUCK YOU BUY OUR NEW BULLSHIT

Like I'm playing GTA:O to escape the fact that I'm not rich irl, but the only way to access most of the content is to actually be rich irl and buy shark cards
So apparently, during the time I had not been playing GTA V, some russian stole my account and got it permanently banned, I have no friends on my friendslist anymore and the only group im in is IGN, my email had been changed twice previously to ggdrul@mail.ru and then rasputin.danil2018@yandex.ru I also liked how it didnt tell me until I had downloaded 72gbs on a slow connection. Thanks russia
With how it was stolen and there being two emails, I wouldn't be surprised that some other russian stole it from the person that originally stole your account.
Twist in turns in the world of Russian espionage

Back when import/export came out, I made about 70 million duping cars, and nothing happened to me. Just don't get too greedy, because each time you reach the sell limit, the amount of cars you can sell per day gets lower until eventually you can only sell one car a day, and it stays that way for about 6 months.
Little known fact: You can toggle your nightvision or thermal vision on or off without going to your interaction menu - all you need to do is hit a certain button on your controller or key on your keyboard. Here's how. First, you need to equip whatever helmet (NVG or Thermal) you want to use. Make sure the helmet visor is in the "down" position, and activate the effect using your interaction menu. Then if you're using a controller, either hold right on the d-pad or F11 if you're using a keyboard (while standing on foot), and your character will reach up, flip the visor up, and the night vision/thermal vision will end. Thereafter, for the rest of the session and as long as you don't switch outfits, you should be able to toggle the vision on or off in this manner. It's not perfect, and losing the helmet in the glitch that sometimes happens when you enter a building or enter certain vehicles will make it so you've got to do the whole thing over, but if you're preparing for combat, on foot, it's very useful. If you're on PC and don't want to have to reach all the way across your keyboard, then go to the Keybindings menu. Under "GTA Online", you'll be able to change that binding to whatever you like. I have mine on N.

Logged into a session to play with some FP friends to find my username had been changed to like ayoub69. Luckily it seemed they were unable to do anything with my account. Is there any way you can check if someone sent Rockstar a support ticket? That's how I lost mine. The guy sent them a support ticket claiming I stole his account and they gave it to him.
I really hate how long the phonecalls with Ron are. Agent 14 was straight to the point, saying "LETS NOT PUSSYFOOT AROUND, I KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE INTO. BUY A FUCKING BUNKER." Meanwhile, Ron takes something like 30 minutes to actually spit it out. "HAAAAY. ITS RON..... (five seconds later) from sandy shores. now uhhhh.... theres some new business opportunities. NONONO, DON'T HANG UP. WHAT IF THE SKIES WERE BLUE? WHAT SCREAMS "EXPANDING BUSINESS".... LIKE BLUE SKIES? WHAT I'M SAYING IS.... THE NEW HANGARS ON *dying wheezing noises to prolong the call* YOU WON'T GET ME YOU SPACE ALIEN FUCKS- oh sorry, on maze bank foreclosures, we could start our own air-freight business. wouldn't that be radical?????"
more reasons why Agent 14 is best character.
I'd probably like these phone calls if Rockstar let me TURN OFF THE FUCKING REPEATING NOTIFICATIONS. Holy shit how does the game still have problems like this
