I usually just go into passive mode, invite a bunch of people to my yacht for a "sex party", then force everyone to leave and watch them battle it out from the comfort of my hot tub.

Fuckers are everywhere. :v:
People seem to leave me alone. I suppose running around looking like a fucked up military cosplayer/survivalist, even as a female, just makes them weary. And especially if you only drive around military vehicles armed to the teeth.

The Bombushka is apparently available right now. Normal price is $5,918,500, but the trade price is $4,450,000. Some new adversary mode called Bombushka Run is available too.

Plenty of times I'll be in downtown LS where people are fighting and blowing each other up and they just kinda ignore my presence. Doesn't bother me, I kinda enjoy just sitting around watching people be crazy rather than getting involved in the crazy. [editline]19th September 2017[/editline] So if there is no pilot for the Bombushka and you try to enter and get in the back to use the guns, the game will sit you down for an instant then teleport you in to the pilot's seat.
So apparently despite the Bombushka Run gamemode making it look like a fucking hulkster-flying-tank-gunship that would put the AC-130 from MW2 on Rust to shame in terms of power, it only takes three shots from an explosive sniper to kill in freeroam.
it only takes three shots from an explosive sniper to kill in freeroam.
Why, Rockstar?
The explosive sniper needs to be nerfed into the ground.
Why, Rockstar?
Rockstar is completely incompetent when it comes to balancing anything in this game. [editline]d[/editline]
The explosive sniper needs to be nerfed into the ground.
I'd say that it doesn't even need to exist. Hitscan explosives are fucking stupid.
It'd be fine if it worked like the explosive shotgun slugs in GTA IV - where it still took like five shots to destroy an unarmored car.
I'm surprised they didnt bring that back.
I'm surprised they didnt bring that back.
I'm surprised there wasn't a MkII version of any of the shotguns.
The problem with Rockstar is that they balanced every new addition after PvE, while shifting the focus of the game heavily towards PvP. They seem incompetent at testing and balancing their stuff, and instead of fixing problematic stuff, would rather add new stuff that "fixes" the issues of the old stuff (new bulletproof vehicles only being bullet resistant, new armed vehicles not being as tanky as the insurgent/having limited ammot etc) while not actually fixing that which was the problem to begin with, and usually ending up with a situation of said vehicles being utterly useless.
The explosive rounds are a double-edged sword. On one hand they somewhat "fix" the problem of the Hydra being an unstoppable killing machine, on the other hand they're millions of dollars and locked behind RNG, and basically required if you want to be competitive in any way at all. Plus combined with the Oppressor and the new wallhack """thermal""" vision helmets, they're another griefing tool able to lock down an entire section of the map. And again, you NEED to invest the millions to get them just to be competitive and able to fight back.

You do not need the explosive sniper ot be competitive and be able to fight back.
So R* added more military gear and unbalanced stuff that are so OP than never before. And yet they can't even let you store police cars or better yet a whole new fresh police dlc. I've always wanted those police vehicles as personal vehicle and even customize them with better armor or bulletproof front-shield and wheels. And having uniforms from swat or police officers to buy from. Or being one of them is fine too. Man, i would be happy already if they could make police vehicles purchase-able...
What's the current deal with FiveM multiplayer servers? Will they get you banned from Social Club and GTA:O still?
What's the current deal with FiveM multiplayer servers? Will they get you banned from Social Club and GTA:O still?
No, its entirely separate now, doesn't even use social club.
I wonder what kind of game we would have if every update had the same quality and dedication put into it that the artistic and marketing team put into their trailers and artwork.
So in Bombushka Run 1, you can just park the thing in the hangar at LSIA and the only way to kill the Bomber is to get in at point blank and try to spray it down while the multiple explosive cannons jostle you around. I think it's safe to say Rockstar didn't playtest this thing at all. Given the assholery of the average GTA:O player they couldn't have possibly forgotten their creativity when it came to fucking people over.
Is it still worth it to get the Mobile Ops Center after Smuggler's Run? if so, which cab would you recommend me?
If you can afford the second one it is entirely better than the first. Also yeah. If you want to modify any of the vehicles or weapons that are part of gun runners you have to have the mobile operations center. Its also just generally a pretty powerful thing to have in freeroam since its so damn durable. Those missions also get you the discounted prices for gun runner vehicles.
I've been grinding out research like a madman. the second that explosive sniper is in my hands I'm going to find the sweatiest, edgiest, highest K/D ratio hydra scumbag that I can and make his life a living hell [editline]21st September 2017[/editline] Usually I wouldn't use something so massively OP but I've suffered at the hands of the hydra menace for too long
Is it still worth it to get the Mobile Ops Center after Smuggler's Run? if so, which cab would you recommend me?
Owning an MOC opens the floodgates for the current overpowered meta freeroam toys. You must have an MOC to upgrade weapons to MK. II variants, this means eventual access to the explosive rounds on the Heavy Sniper and homing missile upgrade for the Oppressor. They are locked behind the terrible bunker research mechanic though, so think of it as a long-term goal, that you may possibly be lucky enough to get early. It also allows you to launch the missions tied to the Gunrunning vehicles like the APC, Oppressor and Weaponised Tampa, if you choose the Command Centre interior slot. Completing these will give you access to the trade price for the vehicles, which is a decent discount. Physically, on the road, the MOC's biggest strength is being a juggernaut, and an incredibly dangerous juggernaut if you have friends to man the turrets. I chose the Phantom Custom cab mostly due to it being cheaper and I find it more aesthetically pleasing, but either one does the job with a few differences separating them. Both cabs are equally as durable, taking 12 explosives from an RPG to kill, Phantom Custom is slightly faster than the Hauler while towing the MOC trailer (acceleration and top speed), although the Hauler may possibly be quicker uphill (I'm not 100% on this, I have only driven a Hauler with MOC once before). The trailer itself takes 24 explosives from an RPG to kill, and can be hooked by any truck, this includes the Phantom Wedge, which is the quickest to accelerate while towing the trailer, but ultimately not the fastest, Phantom Custom still beats it out at top-end speed. Care should be taken when choosing the trailer interior. You get a 3 bay limit to choose what the interior can do: - The Weapon Workshop and Vehicle Customising option takes up 2 bays, and this is the most useful bay to choose, upgrades weapons to MK. II, and allows special vehicle mods that you unlock through Research, - The 'Command Centre' takes up 1 bay and lets you launch missions and take control of the turrets mounted on the trailer but you cannot enable passive mode if you choose this bay (the MOC can take enough punishment for this to be a non-issue however), - The Vehicle Storage bay takes up 1 bay and allows you to drive any owned personal vehicle into the trailer and keep it there, - The 'Living Quarters' takes up 1 bay and is pretty much useless, doesn't allow you to set spawn point to the MOC, only gives you the option to change clothes, don't choose this one. The major downside of this system is that you need to choose Command Centre and Weapon/Vehicle Workshop to get the most out of the MOC, and that fills up all 3 bays. So you can't have the full utility of turrets, weapon/vehicle modding and also have vehicle storage. Sucks, but you can always go back and change the bays at full cost if you change your mind. Just make sure you take your vehicle out of the storage bay before changing it, it used to mean your stored vehicle was lost, not sure if they put in a workaround for this, just don't risk it.
The Bombushka Run mode is pretty good money, but the pilots are driving me up the wall. Maybe if you held still for two seconds and let me shoot the helicopters instead of pulling a MINECRAFT VAPE FIDGET SPINNER ANIME HIGHSCHOOL maneuver and acting like a fucking ballerina we wouldn't have died in the first fifty seconds. It's not making it any harder to be shot because you pulling away is showing as much of this fat monstrosity of a bomber as possible for the miniguns to spray down. Just fly semi-straight until you NEED to turn while occasionally shifting altitude and you'll be fine. And HOLY FUCKING SHIT PULL UP YOUR LANDING GEAR YOU STUPID FUCKS WE NEED TO GO FAST TO NOT DIE AND STALL ALSO USE THE JATO THAT IS MAPPED TO THE VERY SAME GOD-DAMNED BUTTON SO WE CAN MAYBE SURVIVE FOR TEN MORE SECONDS WHILE THEY TRY TO GAIN ALTITUDE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
- The Vehicle Storage bay takes up 1 bay and allows you to drive any owned personal vehicle into the trailer and keep it there,
Remember to take your vehicles out to another garage if you choose to swap the vehicle storage with say weapon workshop and vehicle customising.
Remember to take your vehicles out to another garage if you choose to swap the vehicle storage with say weapon workshop and vehicle customising.
I noted that at the end of the post:
Just make sure you take your vehicle out of the storage bay before changing it, it used to mean your stored vehicle was lost, not sure if they put in a workaround for this, just don't risk it.
I took a quick look on the Rockstar Support and found this article. So you can find a specific menu within the MOC menu to request the last vehicle stored in the bay, even if the bay no longer exists. It isn't the most elegant solution, but at least they implemented a fix.

Was impressed more than anything.
