That goes for most things in GTA Online to be honest. You buy stuff to show it off. But the thing is, everyone else also buys that cool thing, so it doesn't even feel unique. It's gotten to the point where people are so desperate to look different that they'll wear a mess of glitched out clothing items just to stand out.
What even the fuck is the point of the Yachts.
It's to show how many shark cards you have bought
It's to show how many shark cards you have bought
Or to show how much hackerbux you have.
what really pisses me off is how they have that much money (modded accounts don't count), I can barely get past 2 million
I'm kind of hoping they make a naval-focused DLC. Just think about it - a missile submarine as a mobile operations centre, some underwater sub base using the vast seafloor area, various weaponized boats and minisubs...
I think it would be cool, but we should all be really honest - Rockstar would be very hard pressed to give players any reason to utilize ships outside of special missions that spawn certain things for us to retrieve. There is basically nothing out at sea to encourage ship use, I'm sure the primary gimmicks would be that you'll just be able to bombard the coast from the sea with certain vehicles, or we'll be given another anti-air method to harass pilots with. But nothing in the way of interesting income sources. I can already see it being the same as bunkers or hangars. We'll drop a large chunk of money on a property, then have to buy even more to modify special vehicles. The money-maker for the property will probably also be another standard "sit at the computer and start a mission, go here, kill things, retrieve item, sell later in very risky mission". They probably won't add anything extra to the sea outside of these missions to make players want to use ships more.
Every time I get money I only spend it on things that I use
The Vigilante would probobly be a bigger surprise if it wasn't in the game code already... which means that hackers woulden't be able to simply spawn it for people to try early... Occasionally when you are getting people for CEO work you'll find someone fresh enough who has never driven a Super before. Its fun to make people happy.
Its fun to make people happy.
GTA online is about making others miserable, not happy. Enjoy your ban.
GTA online is about making others miserable, not happy. Enjoy your ban.
Oh, I do that too actually. Pop in either my Kuruma or Banshee and just hit and run other players. Hell, my Banshee is fast enough that sometimes I can intercept gunrunning/smuggling shipments.
what really pisses me off is how they have that much money (modded accounts don't count), I can barely get past 2 million
There are ways of making money without the hassle of other people getting in your way - yes, it isn't really playing the game, but if you want the money quickly, you can choose to go solo until you have your desired amount. Whatever way you choose to earn legit money, it does require effort, or in other words, actually playing the game. Keep an eye out for the double money weeks in certain high-paying things like Heists and Stunt Races, they aren't that common on good stuff like that, but they can easily get you millions just for playing 4 or 5 hours that week. Weekly deals, discounts and double money are rotated every (or nearly every) Tuesday as detailed on the Rockstar Newswire.
Honestly I am baffled that everyone on pc isn’t modding to some extent
I prefer to use most games as vanilla as possible, unless it actually supports the use of mods GTA is just too risky of a thing to gamble on wether you'll get hit or not
It's gotten to the point where people are so desperate to look different that they'll wear a mess of glitched out clothing items just to stand out.
You mean like you did for a while with your invisible chest.
You mean like you did for a while with your invisible chest.
I had my blue nipple outfit for a while, but they patched it. I was more referring to the people that wear ridiculous neon outfits with like 500 random accessories.
I finally unlocked the explosive sniper rounds. Hunted down the first hydra I saw and nearly let out a cathartic warcry when I took him out the sky
Only for the most rich players though. Good fucking God Research is expensive as shit.
Only for the most rich players though. Good fucking God Research is expensive as shit.
It looks like it was intended to be a long-term time and money sink, with only the most dedicated griefers (and even some normal players) unlocking it all in the first couple of weeks. I don't enjoy the system either, but it is worth doing to at least have an early chance at getting explosive rounds. Even if you don't actively go out causing trouble with them, they are the first word in protection, you can easily dismantle any single attacker, and they dare not start shit with you again unless they have friends or explosive rounds themselves. Think of it this way, if you don't have an MOC (to upgrade the heavy sniper) or Oppressor (to rule both land and sky), you can work towards those while the research is ticking down. It is also worth considering upgrading your bunker if you plan on unlocking absolutely everything, I can't remember the numbers involved (there are guides out there with the details), but it felt much quicker if I was occupied with other stuff. It's worth noting that you should assign your staff to one thing at a time, so research ticks over nicely, and supply runs are less frequent. Never buy supplies, the steal missions are easy enough. Research and stock also build regardless of what you do, as long as you are online and public (forced solo public session works too). Do races, heists, freemode stuff, mix it up to keep it fresh and the wait feels less of a drag, and more of a long-term motivation. You can also sit idle for hours if that's more your speed. The bunker security upgrade has a security camera system right next to the laptop, and if you are viewing it you will not be timed out for idling. This also goes for the security cam on the TV in the CEO office, and the hangar comes with cams as standard, so just jump on those for a few hours with a full supply bar, chill and do non-GTA things. They will also be adding more Weaponised Vehicles in a few months, and that will mean more research items, so it may be worth your while getting most of the current stuff out of the way before they either dilute the pool with more horrible liveries, or add more gamebreaking meta-shifting research upgrades.
I remember considering buying the bunker to upgrade weapons and then I learned that you need to buy the fucking truck to do it aswell didnt bother when I found that out.
I remember considering buying the bunker to upgrade weapons and then I learned that you need to buy the fucking truck to do it aswell didnt bother when I found that out.
Yeah that was a real dick move when everything in the DLC was already really expensive. There is no other reason for it than blatant cashgrab, and I don't blame anybody who stopped playing after that, it's the type of thing we'll see nearly every update from here on out.
I wouldn't recommend setting your staff to work on research. Assuming you have your bunker fully upgraded, it would take around 179 hours of gameplay to finish every project(you'd also need to keep it supplied). If you focus purely on manufacturing, steal all supplies, and sell when your bunker reaches a Los Santos sell value of $210,000, you would spend about 126 hours gaining all the money needed to fast track every project immediately(assuming your bunker is still fully upgraded and you only used the bunker to make money).
If you want to know how absurd the money issue is, the best weapons in every class except for pistol is locked to having a bunker -and- a MOC. The Combat MG II has significantly higher DPS than any other weapon in the game

I adopted the research-only method because there was other stuff I wanted to do in the meantime, so the least time I could devote to bunker stuff was the priority. If bunker manufacturing is ever on double stock value again, manufacturing is definitely the best way to unlock everything. It's accurate, decent clip size, reload is fairly quick, ammo is pretty cheap, and no need to buy bunker stuff to have a reasonably powerful fully automatic weapon. No denying the Mk. II weapons are better at pretty much everything, but some decent alternatives are still there, you just need to choose your battles and hope they don't whip out the explosive rounds.
The Pyro is now available on GTAO for $4,455,500 or $3,350,000. [t]https://cdn.sc.rockstargames.com/images/games/GTAV/vehicles/974x400/pyro.jpg[/t] Ultralight, Rocket Voltic, Tropos Rallye, and Armored Kuruma are on sale. From the looks of the tunables page, it looks like some vehicle upgrades at Benny's are on sale too. Motor Wars and Stockpile are double cash and RP. [editline]d[/editline] My guess for the remaining dripfeed stuff(fucked up and forgot the 17th was a day on the previous edit :v:)
October 17th - Cyclone - Transform Races October 24th - Seabreeze October 31st - Vigilante - Condemned Adversary Mode November 7th - Nokota - Dogfight Adversary Mode November 14th - Hunter November 21st - P996 Lazer
It could be wrong.
Finally we get the Lazer, its taken too long
The only problem is that you'll be paying $6,500,000 for it and it has no special features to justify that price.

Hey guys i havent played in a few months and just started up the game to find some horrible pop ins when i wasnt before. Havent changed any settings, ran repair and all it did was reinstall c++ and directx and stuff to no avail. Any ideas?
Im a dumbass and priority wasnt set to high. That fixed things. :v: [editline]10th October 2017[/editline] Fucking merge goddamnit
The only problem is that you'll be paying $6,500,000 for it and it has no special features to justify that price.
Maybe if we're lucky (which we probably won't be), it'll be a Pegasus vehicle that will eventually receive a Lazer custom upgrade that somehow 'converts' it into a F-35, giving it extra durability, and STOVL capabilities. But that's probably too creative for Rockstar.
which Smuggler's Run planes/helicopters (helis can be anything) are good, one for offense purposes and one for general purpose flying around EDIT: I'm really contemplating buying the rogue, but something about it just turns me off
