which Smuggler's Run planes/helicopters (helis can be anything) are good, one for offense purposes and one for general purpose flying around EDIT: I'm really contemplating buying the rogue, but something about it just turns me off
Actually the Rogue is one of the best planes in the game right now. Immensely fast and good weapon. I love the Tula as well even if its dependent on needing another person for the best effect. The Havok is far more expensive than it should be and landing on anything other than flat, level ground may cause it to rocket along the ground, but you can equip it with a minigun and it is absurdly agile. The Ultralight can be made permanently off the radar while also having an omni-directional turret that doesn't make you visible when you shoot it.
That goes for most things in GTA Online to be honest. You buy stuff to show it off. But the thing is, everyone else also buys that cool thing, so it doesn't even feel unique. It's gotten to the point where people are so desperate to look different that they'll wear a mess of glitched out clothing items just to stand out.
It kills me that if cars weren't so retarded expensive, the originality people would have with their cars would be a ton more interesting. The only time I ever play are to do in-game car meetups
Vanilla GTA Online takes forever to load and there's still connection issues. FiveM takes like 30 seconds. Wtf the fuck
I really like Alpha-Z1, the thing is zippy as hell.

The Hunter might be an acceptable choice when it releases as the pilot has access to bombs, regular homing rockets, and rocket barrage, but I'd say nothing has really outclassed the Buzzard yet. When it comes to random flying though, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the SR planes as they're all kinda fun to fly. The only thing I would avoid is the Bombushka since it seems to be a very slow piece of shit.
Is there any current Nightride FM still? Couldn't find anything.
So what's currently the fastest plane in the game? The Alpha Z-1? The Pyro?
So what's currently the fastest plane in the game? The Alpha Z-1? The Pyro?
I'm not sure if there is any proper testing that has been done on this yet, but if I had to guess, I think the Howard and Alpha Z-1 would most likely end up being the top picks for speed. I don't have much experience with these planes though so I could be completely wrong.
Has anyone tried out that weird new Military plane?
I decided to mess around with the planes from SR to get their average speed(plane stable and going in a straight line). I used Menyoo's speedometer which could be inaccurate for all I know, but here are all the approximate results anyways(I also included the Lazer and Hydra so you can properly compare):
Starling - 180-190 MPH(boost) Howard - 175 MPH Pyro - 172 MPH Alpha Z-1 - 172 MPH Rogue - 170 MPH Hydra - 166 MPH V-65 Molotok - 158 MPH P-45 Nokota - 154 MPH Seabreeze - 152 MPH P-996 Lazer - 152 MPH Mogul - 126 MPH Tula - 115 MPH Ultralight - 66 MPH RM-10 Bombushka - 65 MPH
Since the Rogue is the fastest thing with explosive rounds, homing missiles, bombs, and flares, it's probably the best thing you can buy in this update.
Rogue is the Hydra for the new age.
Rogue is the Hydra for the new age.
At least it can't hover.
At least it can't hover.
Minor missing feature, you've still got machine guns that fire explosives, homing missiles, flares(or chaff to block lock on) and carpet bombing. the alluring wet dream of anyone wanting to be a shit head, and admittedly I've found myself being one towards pubs while flying.
The one thing I hate about the Rogue is that due to the machine guns being on the wings, they aren't as precise as the Hydra's cannon on the front.
It's super jank hitting anything that isn't a plane with the rogue's guns
Also from my playing around with it the cannon on the Rogue is both not as strong nor as fast firing at that of the Hydra.
How does the pyro rate on the landing scale? I've seen and personally used the Molotok, and that thing can land on a dime. It basically can just glide to the ground if the engine goes off, even in a busy street. I'm very interested in fast, combat-capable planes that can land extremely easy without any bouncing, or require a long stretch of road to land safely. I want to see if they could possibly be used for CEO work.
Had my vehicle cargo destroyed in a 3 player session, and now I'm down to 5K. Fuck me for trying to play the game, right? There IS an option to report for griefing, but R* can play it off for crates as "OH B-BUT THEY GET PAID FOR IT FUCK YOU IT NO GRIEFING". Would that apply for vehicles that explicitly say STEAL instead of DESTROY that get you no reward? Or would it still be defended? E: He uploaded a clip of it on his profile, it said he killed me 7 times and I killed him twice. I've neither died seven times nor killed him twice. The killcount was 1-0 in reality. What'd he do to inflate the numbers to stroke his ego exactly?

What'd he do to inflate the numbers to stroke his ego exactly?
[sp] People in this thread hate me because they have been traumatized by jet griefers, but I still sell my own cargo and deal with shitheads quite often, so I can still give you an advice from CEO to CEO [/sp] - Use ghost organization. Using ghost organization makes a lot of us paranoid because we don't always know how many people are exactly in your organization until we actually check the leaderboards, also because if we don't use Ghost Org. too we make ourselves vulnerable to be killed, this creates a chain where everyone activates ghost organization so they aren't vulnerable for others. - Avoid putting Neon Kits, Xeon Lights and bright colors on cars you're gonna sell. Neon Kits and Xeon Lights always stand out and can easily be seen from the air when you're in a jet or an helicopter, if a player uses ghost organization in the highway, you can always find them by following the purple/pink/bright colored lights they put on their cars. Xeon lights can be seen easier than normal lights Black, white, gray colors are easier to blend in traffic as most cars spawn that way. It's never hard to spot a pink, yellow or ultra blue car on traffic. - If I only have to drive in straight line to get you, it means I only need to follow few steps to attack you. Making lots of turns, driving in the oncoming lane, driving through rough terrain at high speeds means I'm more likely to crash than actually getting to you. Your average griefer isn't that good at driving, so use that to your advantage. - Pay attention to the level, choice of attire and K/Dr. Most of us tend to have shit taste, but most of us wear bulletproof helmets so we are less likely to die by a lucky headshot and drive insurgents or armored cars so we are less likely to be killed by a rocket launcher or a proximity mine. 1.5 KDr is acceptable for most people. This is the standard for players who stumble upon people like me and manage to get away without losing. 3.0 KDr is pushing it, some people have it, others don't. Anything with two digits is usually a modded account or not acquired legitimately (killed the same friends over and over or something like that), some people in serious PvP crews have them but you rarely met that kind of people in Public Sessions. I don't wear those outfits anymore because I try to stay away from people most of the time. - Never drive through Downtown LS. Downtown LS is like a theme park for fighting other people. All stores are there, there is a Los Santos Custom there, a lot of helicopter and vehicle spawns are there, there are lots of buildings, structures and stuff to take cover and use as vantage points. The further you stay from Los Santos metropolitan area, the safer you are, because most of us look for instant reward and probably wouldn't like going too far away just to try our luck at killing some guy. Griefers look for whoever is closer to them (unless you are the only player in the session). - Never fight with griefers Most people fail at doing this, but what most of the people like me want is to get people like you angry and try to chase us for revenge. It's amusing for us and shitty for you, so the best thing you can do is not fail for our game and avoid becoming our clown or victim. Griefers will talk shit about you and call you pussy if you go Passive, but we only do that because we don't want to accept the fact that other people don't want to play with us because we are annoying to be with. Fighting in Free Mode is a money sink. I used to think good of myself because "Hah, I killed that guy", but now that I have to grind and sell my cars and shit, I quickly realized that free mode gunfights are a complete waste of money and resources for meaningless rewards. Here are some considerations to have in mind before fighting someone: - Rocket Launcher, Grenade Launcher and Minigun are the most powerful weapons in the game, but buying full ammo for them sucks dick. Everytime you fail to kill someone with the rocket launcher you are basically throwing your money into the trash. - Going Off the Radar to kill someone means you're paying money for a kill, if you get killed, you pretty much lost money. - Most people drive expensive cars. Yeah, you might blow up someone in their Nero Custom or Vagner, but you lost $20,000 for a single kill, plus what you spend for the rocket, grenade or whatever you used to blow it up. - Driving near tall buildings, pylons, windmills and places where there is just way too much tall stuff to crash with makes it harder to follow you in a Jet because it means we actually have to think and not just fly in straight line.
It's nothing really special, but Rockstar released a trailer for the transform races and gave us the release date of October 17th: Newswire Article It becomes a lot less exciting when you look at the wording of the previous announcement:
Look for Transform Races to launch this month, and for these additions to the Race Creator to come later this year along with a new set of stunt props - giving you everything you need to build your own fiendish contests.
Probably will be stuck playing shitty Rockstar created stuff for a while before actual creative people get access to it.
Why would I play that when I can play the official version
Aside from the sniper rifle, what types of ammo are best for the mark 2 weapons? It does feel like a tease that you can get huge ass extended mags for them early on but the special ammo (aside from the tracers which I dont see much effect at all) is a no no. I dont think I have ever seen anyone use incindiary ammo for the guns either. Like, ever. Is it just kinda useless or something? I imagine hollowpoints would be more useful to the SMG while FMJ would be better to put on the LMG as it's already a heli-killer and giving it anti-armor ammo would help benefit its strengths.
Personally, I wouldn't bother with any of the special ammo types. Aside from the explosive rounds(which I don't think are necessary either), none of the ammo types really do enough in PvP or PvE to justify fucking over your maximum ammo and increasing overall costs for ammo.

Armor peircing rounds (which - again, according to the wiki) just increase damage to player-armor. Nice perk, but honestly I would go for extended mag over that. I'm mostly curious about incindiary, honestly. You can always just keep the other LMG/Sniper rifle/dozens of pistols and SMGs for times when you need to save that specialized ammo too. Mostly for the sniper rifle and LMG as I think the MK2 SMG is a straight upgrade that sadly can't be used in most drive-bys. shucks.
Stuff
I have to say, I do find it strange that you all of all people in this thread, is one to give out tips and what not that doesn't just involve being a cunt to other people because they look like dicks.
I'm mostly curious about incindiary, honestly.
I've been on the receiving end of it from some pubber that tried to start shit, it is not guaranteed to ignite with every shot and instead has a chance to ignite. It would be better to simply shoot your enemies until they die rather than waiting on a random ignition to do it for you.

Why don't you guys join one of those crews like PCEO where they have peaceful lobbies dedicated to selling cargo/cars? Not to victim blame but you're kind of asking for your stuff to get destroyed if you try and sell in a public lobby.
I'm mostly curious about incindiary, honestly.
It has a chance to ignite, I just slapped it on a Mk2 AK rifle. You'll more often shoot your enemies to death than hope the sudden chance of ignition would kill them, although it might send some pubs into a slight panic for a split second when they see they've caught on fire suddenly.
So how did they not put out a helicopter other than that tiny one? I want a customizable like, hind.
