I live for air vehicles. After buying a hangar I can barely stand to drive anywhere. The sheer variety of air vehicles you can save and customize make a hangar very worth it, especially if you're a good pilot, or have the patience to become one.
Since there was talk about MP trainers a few pages ago, Do remember that:
1. Most of them are probably broken now.
2. Even if they still work, do NOT use them! every update includes new anti-cheat and it will be a while before we know what is and isn't safe anymore.
it's not just rap, theres some soul, rock and electro in there as well (if you're interested in those)
it's a toss-up for me. burial, marvin gaye, panda bear, curtis mayfield, and some more aphex twin are some top choices, but a lot of the other things on there i have zero interest in.
Player owned outfits don't seem to work right in doomsday
It just uses my freemode attire and doesn't allow me to change
So I gotta Wear an utility vest in advance
I somehow have ended up in a server with a group of people roleplaying and I'm pretty sure they're just trying to do a sex rp with a random they found. They're all posing as like, mafia stereotypes. One is supposed to be a russian mafia guy, another a hitman, another an italian mafioso. Every so often someone interjects to take the piss out of them.

It fell apart after that because Bella stopped playing along.
If you're curious about how much the new awards give you, it seems like funmw2 figured it out:

Base heist payouts are also covered:

Wow, so much money.
Honestly, these missions are fun enough that I don't mind the payouts not being great. I'm sure my feelings on that will change over time though.
I don't mind the payouts not being great, cause it was always hard to find a fourth person who wasn't inept to do heists with.
2-3 people is perfect, means I can play them so much more.
sooOoOOo, I haven't played online seriously in quite some time. the hangars/CEO/bunker stuff is completely lost on me. is there a resource or kind soul that can catch me up?
like, my last knowledge of the game was largely that I dominated the original heists and had the biggest and best stuff when that was all said and done. I know that stuff is all largely antiquated now, though.
should I get a new apartment? get garages? become a CEO? i'm thinkin' about a hangar.
It's a long road to earning legit money, and a mega grind if you're going after the end-game toys, Oppressor - Deluxo - APC, etc. Also, incoming essay of the basics and some links at the bottom for resources to read into.
If you're on PC, then you want to get yourself in a Public Solo Session to actually have a chance at earning money: Resource Monitor Method. If not, search up ways on console solo sessions through port blocking and the like.
CEO is your first priority in the money game. You'll need to buy an office, cheapest one is $1,000,000 that you can buy through Dynasty 8 Executive on your phone. There are sales on offices fairly regularly, so perhaps hold off until the new discounts next Tuesday (19th Dec.), sometimes you can get 50% off.
Also, buy a Buzzard helicopter if you don't have one already, it is the lifeblood of your CEO career, jump on any discounts you see, as you can summon one instantly to your side for free if you own one (you don't have to wait for the delivery time like with the mechanic).
From there you have quite a few options (accessed from your computer in the office):
- Import/Export is my personal recommendation to start. Steal exotic and expensive cars and then sell them. You need to buy a Vehicle Warehouse - cheapest is $1,500,000, which seems like a lot, but it pays for itself very quickly. $80k per Top Range car sold, and you can do this every 20 minutes, so $240k/hour. Grind it out for a few hours and learn the nuances of the source missions to streamline your money turnover.
- Special Cargo, which is a grind but still currently a consistent way of earning money due to the (usually) straightforward source missions, requires a lot of initial investment for no immediate return, you can buy cargo warehouses and then source crates to stockpile. The more crates stockpiled, the more multiplier built on final bulk sale value. Warehouses can be small (16 crates), medium (45 crates) and large (111 crates). Full large warehouse of 111 crates can sell for $2,220,000 but it's a lot of work. I'd recommend buying 2 medium warehouses to avoid cooldown timers and source crates alternating between them, upgrade to Large if you can stomach the grind.
- CEO work, run Headhunter and Sightseer for some quick cash if you don't yet own Cargo Warehouses or a Vehicle Warehouse or are a little short on cash after buying them and have some downtime after the cooldowns you encounter, do some CEO work to earn up to $25,000 per job. Might seem like an insignifcant amount, but it can put money in your pockets pretty quickly if you have a Buzzard to whip around the map.
A few other posts below that outline what I do for money when I just want to chill and feel like I'm achieving something by earning worthless virtual currency for equally intangible virtual objects:

Little rundown on money making
There are plenty of other ways to earn, like Bunker and Biker businesses, but at least to me, CEO seems the best way to start up and learn how freemode moneymaking works.
It's a lotta reading, but if you can stomach it, the means to play and earn well are there. And yes, it is a grind, it takes a certain amount of patience to get places, but remember to have fun.
With the multipliers currently in place, Motorcycle Club missions pay well and can be done in a private session with virtually no risk
The Deluxo's hover mode isn't very stable in the subway tunnels, sometimes you'll just be thrown into the ceiling.
Yeah, I think it does this bizarre thing where it sort of magnetises to the nearest flat surface, including walls. So sometimes it just flips into its side
Also my loyalty & all in order challenges stopped tracking even though I did it with the same friend all the way through :( rip

Since when are cargo warehouse even remotely worth much in terms of cash per hour
can hackers just call the police on you now? I'm in my apartment constantly getting one stars.
Is there even hacks right now because I thought all the scripts are outdated and are easily detectable because of the update.
If you're running into hackers at the moment they'll probably get banned soon after lol
Well I was for some reason getting wanted while just standing in my apartment.
Since when are cargo warehouse even remotely worth much in terms of cash per hour
It has been a while since I've ran crates, so maybe I haven't recalled the profits very well, here's a table. This considers what you're spending on crates versus what you are making by stockpiling right up to the max of 111 per warehouse. Since the amount you have stored increases the multiplier, maybe it wasn't wise quoting 'per hour' money on this work as it only really pays off when you sell in bulk (at least a full medium warehouse of 45 crates). It was more down to the source missions being pretty easy in a solo session and the straightforward nature of the work.
Upon reading it again, its based on an approximate time it took to source crates, so it can't really be treated as accurate for everyone, more just a guideline.
Another factor is that it cites cooldowns for sourcing, so if you have 2 warehouses, it effectively eliminates the cooldown as you hop back and forth between sources for each individual warehouse, granting you less wasted time and more money in the long run. And you should be able to sell 2 full warehouses when you're done.
I'd need to crunch some numbers to figure out if I wanted to grind crates versus other methods of making money, it'll probably only be worth your time when the payout has been boosted by at least 25%. Last year it was 50% on Christmas day, so if you had a full 111 crates prepped, you could get $3,330,000 from one sell mission, minus the money you put into it.
I will edit my post to reflect this, as it does look a bit misleading compared to the almost instant cash of I/E.
Why did I spend all my money on a facility with no use to me

To give you something to complain about.
the heist was kind of a let-down imo.
Not much replay value
So, I just confirmed the new helicopter does infact hide global signals. I picked up a random carrying a drug package and went into stealth mode and the blip vanished from the map. At the very least, the new helicopter is absolutely worth a buy. There's also no cooldown when switching modes so you can go on the offensive immediately.
I bought the Deluxo.
I love everything about it and I'm so happy they give you the option of using the classic spoiler even if it doesn't resemble the Alpine GTA anymore.

I just saw a video showing it off and you can also use machine guns AND missiles as the pilot. Time to sell my Hunter. Funny how hyped up the Hunter was over the years, and then after it finally came out, it became irrelevant in 3 weeks.
Man I love my Hunter, but now I want the new hotness.
