how does the free roam doomsday heist prep work if you already have the required vehicle ie, if you have 1 dulexo, do you still need to source another 3 for the prep? if you have an avenger do you just not need to do that prep at all?
The prep missions and your owned vehicles have nothing to do with one another. Whether you own 0 or 1 or 15 Deluxos, you'll still have to source 4.

Gets kinda tedious if you've got a distant facility.
I'm so glad I bought the facility at the dam, pretty much every prep/setup mission is very close, and it's convenient as hell. totally worth the investment imo.
so what's with this loading screen suggesting that you can buy the assets outright?
so what's with this loading screen suggesting that you can buy the assets outright?
You can pay $93,000 to skip a heist prep entirely
so what's with this loading screen suggesting that you can buy the assets outright?
There's a voiceline for Lester after you've completed your first prep reminding you that you can buy your way through it to avoid doing it for every step. Rockstar really pushing the idea of throwing money away so you can buy more later.
I'd find the prep skip somewhat acceptable if paying nearly 100K skipped all the freemode prep bullshit, but it only skips one mission which is pretty fucking ridiculous.
Whoever made THAT Avenger mission deserves a slow and agonising death.
Whoever made THAT Avenger mission deserves a slow and agonising death.
It's not that bad at all, just use the area to the left, and stay there. For some reason the AI tend to ignore you when you climb the stairs, and having the high ground is really good
Whoever made THAT Avenger mission deserves a slow and agonising death.
All intended by the devs. You'll need to purchase a Bunker™ from Maze Bank Foreclosure™ recommended by Agent 14 from the IAA whom you've never met along with the Mobile Operations Center™ then either wait 30-50 hours of research if you're lucky or spend your hard earned GTA$™ to fast track the research projects to get the Thermal Scope for Heavy Sniper Mk2 which you need another 200,000 GTA$™ to upgrade from the normal Heavy Sniper Then the mission will be a breeze [sp]if you don't have enough money you can always buy Shark Cards™, preferably the Megalodon Shark Card™[/sp]
I was selling a car and suddenly was absolutely destroyed by the orbtial cannon. Out of 20 people in the session, I was the only person hit by it. Why are people like this.
I assume most people already know, but since it wasn't mentioned here, Rockstar enabled snow again yesterday at 6:30 PM EST. You can also get another Krampus mask, fireworks, firework launcher, and a random t-shirt for logging in.
Ok so some cheater just gave me tons of money and i end up buying a high-end apartment and an armored car, and i have 580k left, do you guys know where should i spend the money ?
Save it and then buy an office if you don't have one.
Sorry i'm still fairly new to this game and i don't much, is what kind of advantages will i got from an office ?
Sorry i'm still fairly bew to this game and i don't much, si what kind of adavantage will i got from an office ?
Rockstar will probably remove it from your account within days. Spend it on something you like or buy a car that you can sell later on. You could also do the first 4 heists. These will give you a "first time playing" bonus. Add that up to the cheater money and you can buy the cheapest office. EDIT: Oh and you could also do the flight school activity to earn a quick 250k

tried to do some racing again, used the creator for the first time in order to weeb out and make an initial d style touge. the lobby system and the PIT maneuvers from random dickheads still frustrate the hell out of me, but i guess i'm having fun on SOME level here
Fucking hell the Act III finale aint no joke. Never got so sick of the sight of bald men before.
How long does it take for a new player/account to get a decent setup of weapons, a garage and vehicles? I'm wondering if it's worth reinstalling the game.

[editline]31st December 2017[/editline] Snow is back. Nights are still really pretty. [t]https://i.imgur.com/2Eo4cCA.png[/t]

Newer races and modes and stuff tend to pay more than older ones for some reason.
solokiller`og;53018493']How long does it take for a new player/account to get a decent setup of weapons, a garage and vehicles? I'm wondering if it's worth reinstalling the game.
It can take quite a while to get a decent setup of Apartment, Office, Garage and some decent guns and vehicles, maybe a week or so of playing a few hours each day. If you are completely new to Online with zero previous experience, and you have friends who play, definitely ask them if you can play together, if they have the ability to start heists, it's probably the fastest way to set you up if you're on a completely fresh character. I can't remember if they did away with the level requirement for it, but it was something low like Level 15. If not, finding your way can be little bit rough, especially in freemode. Here's a general guide for info on the game, including some methods for making money, a lot to read, but decent information. If you're flying solo, jump in a public session and start doing stuff, accept heist invites, mission invites etc. to see what you find most fun, sometimes doing fun things for less money is better than doing something you hate for more money. Do some googling on stuff you don't understand while playing, more often than not there will be some info out there telling you how things work. I'd also recommend checking out Double Cash and RP events to fast track money earning and get some much needed leveling done. You can launch into a lobby from the game starting screen, and you can check what's going on by following the Rockstar Newswire and Online Events Page to see what the Double Cash and RP events are (sometimes there are also vehicle and office or apartment discounts). Payouts can be pretty good if the mode is fun or easy, a couple of hours of these should set you up pretty well. These usually rotate every week, starting on a Tuesday, so if you can't stand what's on double money that week, check back in the next week. I'd make your primary objective to have fun, I wouldn't put grinding money above having fun, that's definitely the quickest way to burn yourself out on this game.
I read those guide and noticed I was about 300k short of the 1 mil for an office so I tried joining a random heist. After sitting through numerous loading screens and someone who couldn't decide if they were ready or not we did the one where one team steals the car and the other team steals the documents. I was on car team and this guy took forever to get away from the police but somehow the documents team took even longer. By the time we eventually finished it I had earned about $7200 iirc? I feel like contact missions would be faster.

Doing a heist with 3 other random people is usually a bad idea. If you or a friend host the heist, you are at least somewhat in control of the payout. If you have no luck with heists, there's other stuff you can do to get that 300k, like VIP work for 25k each time, daily objectives and the double money modes. I would perhaps wait for a discount on the office, the cheapest one can go down to 500k sometimes, and you can use the rest of the money to work towards getting a vehicle warehouse and start making some consistent money with Import/Export. Discounts change on Tuesday, if you're lucky they might be down in price.
Another Krampus mask and random t-shirt can be claimed today by logging into GTAO. No dripfeed vehicles have been released, but that's probably something to expect tomorrow.
the northern parts of the map look so good in the snow, sometimes feels like a different game just driving around then you get killed by the orbital cannon and reminded that you're playing GTA online
But will Rockstar take your legit earned cash in response to modded cash? I don't want to save up like a few million and then have it all disappear one day because I got money from modders in the past.
It is possible, but there's no guarantee that they'll detect the money and if they do, it could take months before they try to do something about it.
I don't know if they do anymore, but they once took all of my like, 4 million I had saved up when someone dropped 2 on me. Took me fucking forever to get that much
AFAIK they can also just straight up ban you as well if they feel like it. That's why i never hunted for hacked cash
