I tried to play tennis recently against a level 15 for the very first time, and the ball kept fucking switching directions. I'd see it coming to the right, start moving right to get ready to swing it back, and then it magically switches directions at the speed of light, leaving me on the wrong side and eating cocks for trying. Any idea if this is related to the Peer-to-Peer Bullshittery™ or is there some sort of dark art that will cause the world to split in half if too many people figure it out?
Nah, online tennis has always been shitty. I played it once with a friend and had a terrible time. Haven't tried it again since then.
Grotti GT500 is now available for $785,000. New adversary mode Air Quota is now available and has double cash/RP. Pyro and Nightshark on sale.

I wish they would port games like Poker from RDR or Pool from GTA 4 in Online. Should be easy to do it too. Golf, Darts, Tennis or that horrible video game in CEO building is just too few.
Is air quota actually fun? Because slashers completely sucks the big one and I got tired of getting invites only to that since it was double money.

If you aren't a professional pilot though, or in fact have never used any Smuggler's Run aircraft because it's been locked behind a two million dollar minimum paywall just to be able to use the things to any effective degree, you're going to get the shit kicked out of you. Protip: The Smuggler's aircraft let you spam the shit out of missiles as opposed to having to fire two max and then wait five seconds. I was wondering how it was physically possible to have three jets targeting me at once, but it turns out that they're just spamming six lock-on missiles.
Was dogfighting a dude in a Pyro for a bounty with my Hydra. I looped around to see his plane smoking and him ejecting. I was confused because I knew I hadn't hit him. Turns out he managed to hit himself with his own missiles. I did manage to light him up with the cannons before he even pulled his chute.

I would have expected something like Righteous Slaughter at the least.

I'd really like to know what Rockstar was thinking with implementing an entirely open, global mic into various activities. From flirting to strippers to showering to robbing stores and rollercoasters, it wants you to "talk" ""dirty"", sing, start yelling in an attempt to intimidate the pixel-man, and scream respectively for all those activities under the pretenses you'll get an RP bonus. That'd be fine if the entire lobby couldn't hear you screaming your lungs out on the rollercoaster and want to strangle you to death with a segment of barbed wire for it.

I never realized how much work you can get done when you don't have a fully lobby of 29 other people to worry about. I somehow managed to get a solo public lobby and kept it for 3-4 hours and I did a shit ton of vehicle warehouse missions. It's so much easier to do when you're not worrying about 29 potential assholes fucking your shit up for no reason other than "its fun lol".
Isn't there some way to trick it into thinking you've lost connection and then putting you into an empty online lobby?
solokiller`og;53059121']Isn't there some way to trick it into thinking you've lost connection and then putting you into an empty online lobby?
Yeah, using resource monitor to suspend GTA V's network activity for ten seconds or so is probably one of the easiest methods on PC. It's also possible to block players from joining completely by blocking the right ports. It's just a shame that people need to do this shit if they don't want to deal with horribly broken PvP or cheating assholes. The public session requirement is just stupid.

I don't know how I managed to get that solo public lobby for so long because I sure as hell didn't suspend the GTA 5's activity or block ports. Maybe it had something to do with my connection? My internet isn't the greatest at times and I'm wondering if it slowed down enough to partially drop me from the Rockstar servers but not enough to completely drop me from the game. I don't know, I'm talking out of my ass here.

Sometimes you just get an empty lobby. My friends and I's strategy for getting empty lobbies is all to just jump between sessions until someone gets one. With how hard Rockstar has been patching their player grouping systems, though, it only stays empty for maybe 15 minutes before people start flooding in. It's much rarer to land in a Lobby That Rockstar Forgot.
the solo public session trick works great. I like doing it just as some multi billionaire in an attack helicopter is bearing down on me to try to destroy my piddly little $30k shipment of cocaine, and when they almost get to you, you see the sweet relief of all the "player has left the game" messages scrolling down. they ought to implement that as a feature honestly, it's exhilarating
Save up for a bunker business and office & car warehouse, shipments and export cars can't be locked on to. There's still a chance of some fucker in a jet showing up which is only a death sentence if you're out in the desert and can't find somewhere to cover quickly I actively seek out busier sessions to sell guns in, the bonuses can be pretty huge
ok rockstar knocked it out of the park with the air quota, the money is phenomenal, i've made more per hour winning this than I have anything else so far, and it's super fun
What's the payout during the event?
What's the payout during the event?
I've made anywhere from 50k for winning a small match to almost 200k for winning a big one.
Fuck this game. I'm sick of having to pay 20K every time some cunt teleports my cars underwater.
Fuck this game. I'm sick of having to pay 20K every time some cunt teleports my cars underwater.
That's one hell of a sales pitch for the Stromberg.
What's the modding scene like for GTA 5 singleplayer? I remember the whole OpenIV fiasco and how it went nowhere but other than that I know nothing about modding. Other than new vehicles are there any significant mods out there that would improve a second playthrough? Things like graphics overhauls and things like that.
It kinda seems like Air Quota sucks to me. All I hear is BEEEEEEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEPBEPPBEPBEPBEPBEBPEBEBEBEBEBEBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-BEEBEBEBEBEEEBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE- WASTED OOOOO GET WASTED DSJGIOSDHGSDZXrpoTGacghuizabtygazewhs08[po Seriously, it seems like the countermeasures don't work half the time. All it devolves into by the second vehicle is seeing who gets lucky with the RNG of missile spamming, and then continues to have the computer favor them for having either the best or worst internet connection.

Some people suck and yeah that happens. Find some people playing with a controller, and play with one yourself, there's no other way to fly in GTA (this has been true of all PC versions of GTA), and just learn how to outrun the missiles. All of the airplanes can evade missiles without countermeasures by just pulling up as hard as you can. The helicopters can duck and dodge them. And if someone starts exploiting that and just flys in a loop or in a circle dodging missiles, you get behind them and machine gun them. Because they're locked into that loop they'll expose a large portion of the aircraft to you (as opposed to the minimal exposure you get from following straight behind), and you can land more than enough shots quickly enough to bring anyone down even with the weakest machine guns. With the two first planes that have explosive mg rounds it's even easier. And if they're competent enough to realize they gotta level off and get away from you, that opens them up to missiles. The missiles aren't really random, it's just about flying in the right patterns. A missile placed at the right time following directly behind a target that isn't locked in a loop or a circle will always hit, no question. And you don't have to even be close or have a red lock on, fire as soon as you get green if you have a straight line to them. So there are lots of predictable behaviors but none of them result in instant wins because they can all be countered and focusing on any one of them limits your ability to deal with other strategies. For example you will get a couple kills if you just flew in a circle spamming missiles, and it'll be hard for unskilled players to kill you, but I mean I could put and end to that shit quickly and then you'll just be a source of easy points for my team. It's a great game mode and a good match with the right players is intense and often very close, I've won and lost a lot of rounds in the very last seconds.

I've been enjoying the hell out of air quota. [t]https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/918040416616253123/E466FA7AA990976305F4FCC61D4C5EB4C08FEAEE/[/t] but i might be biased
