Launch ProjectZomboid32, not 64, if that's why you're trying
ProjectZomboid64 works for me. The black box just takes a bit to load.
All I can say is, holy fuck this is hard. It seems like there's to many zombies.
How exactly do i attack in this new version? It doesn't seem to work unless there is no animation for it.
Try holding M1, you need to charge attacks
what does this mean? If you crash loading texture pages then this may be related to the Intel bug or a similar incompatibility.
maybe. im using an intel hd graphics family chipset and ive had no issues apart from sandbox ui and occasional framerate drop
Project Zomboid V run for your fucking life and don't stop
now play with sprinters
it released http://www.theindiestone.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=12854
i love you
So are we unable to climb over windows, but we can smash them?
So are we unable to climb over windows, but we can smash them?

HOLDING E will climb through a window
?
"You survived 9 hours. in sandbox." WELP.
Holy fucking shit, I... I cant do really much of anything let alone looting. All you do in RC2.9 is run. And never stop running. Ever.
Don't drop an item and pick it back up, your inventory is broken entirely then.
I'm having way less fun in this build then the previous stable build, i loved making a house a little base, building barricades and fending of the zombies while going on looting runs, now i just run around and kill maybe 1 zombie when i can even though it takes about 20 swings.
If you're constantly running and not finding it much fun load up sandbox and adjust the zombie population. Also, I love how the guns work. I had no idea you had to take out the magazine and put shells in.
Is barricading broken? Keeps crashing me.
Everywhere is locked. EVERYWHERE.
how do you change the settings from outside the game? can't seem to find a config file
C:\Users\Username\Zomboid\ delete that dir out.
Streaming because why not: http://www.livestream.com/zestylemons
Livestream's servers exploded or something, sorry guys
Did the Lemons stream die for everyone else?
I just survived one day before I was over-encumbered by sheets and died to one zombie. I don't understand why you guys are running around so much. If you take it slow and walk with caution, and hide among the trees, you only really have to deal with one guy at a time. Just don't carry more than you need.

survived 1 day and 6 hours, the whole time being completely bored and depressed. mainly because i couldn't open any doors beyond my starting house
Can anyone survive for more than 2 days? The sheer amount of zombies always get me no matter how I play
C:\Users\Username\Zomboid\ delete that dir out.
Thanks Lemmy! Weird though, I only put it on High and I have a GTX 670...
Can anyone survive for more than 2 days? The sheer amount of zombies always get me no matter how I play
I got 2 days and 17 hours without knowing how to use weapons for the first day and a half and never figuring the hammer out.
Also, some really weird UI stuff going on with menus and stuff not working on my resolution. [editline]29th April 2013[/editline] Also if you press the maximize button on the Zomboid program window, the game crashes.
Can anyone survive for more than 2 days? The sheer amount of zombies always get me no matter how I play
you can go in sandbox and make it so there's less zombies/slower/dumber etc.
Wow... Tried the new version 3 times. First time they scratched me and i couldn't stop running. Eventually i found a bar in the middle of nowhere where i could stop and bandage myself. It was too late however and i died. Second time it was going good i found a storage, a shotgun and a bunch of stuff but i had to run. I was running for like 10 minutes all trough i found nothing just an endless road and forest. No zombies, no houses. Eventually i died of dehydration. Third time i was scavanging houses near where i started when i opened a room and suddenly 3 zombies surrounded me and i couldn't move and died. This is like 1000x harder. Some things need to be improved before the full release: All the houses and windows being locked. The inventory system not so good. You can only carry like 10kg or whatever it is, which is not a lot. Then you find a bag, which you can put stuff in but what is the point of that when the bag itself takes up a crapload of kg? I found myself struggling with just a shotgun, an axe, 24 shotgun shells a flashlight, my clothes, and 4 batteries and like 5 other misc items that weighted overall like 1kg. I know it's supposed to be realistic but it's just unfun. Moving trough windows can be awkward at times, so does breaking them. Attacking is not so good at the moment. The map is just really barren. I walked for about 15minutes on a straight road in the middle of the forest and found nothing eventually i died because i walked so far away. Without a vehicle of some sort why is it even there? There were no zombies or anything. There needs to be a way to stop dropping stuff. I accidently clicked drop on 50 tomato seeds and i could not stop dropping them and had to wait for it to be finished before i could pick up anything. (Maybe i am missing something?) Anyway im really enjoying this so far and it's a huge improvement.
