Anyone ever play Persistent World? I helped Vornne out with v3+ but haven't touched it since then, which was like seven months ago. Made some maps for cRPG too, played with the 48th Imperial Eagles and the Caravan Guards (M&B:NW & cRPG respectively). Anyone?

Was playing warband after some time off of it, and I remember one thing from my past experience in full detail. The sea raiders are demonic spiders.

What are some recommended mods for Mount and Blade or Warband? I don't want to download a whole bunch of mods that I don't really like.

Been playing the game of thrones mod A Clash of Kings. Enjoying it immensely so far, but damn there's a lot of bugs.

I enjoyed napoleonic wars while it lasted but now I've been banned from both of the good servers for dubious reasons and there's really no way to contest, I guess it's mostly warband now.

Europe 1200 has some ridiculously satisfying moments. Like one time I had only 20 of my best infantry with me and we got jumped by a Lord with over 70 troops. Thing is, most of his troops were crap so we were just slaughtering dozens of his men while not losing a single man. It was like one of those scenes in a movie where the entire point of the scene is to show just how badass a group of people are.

I tried Brytenwalda, why is it it's basically impossible for me to use a spear because I'm too close to the AI, but the AI can be right up my face and kill me in an instant with it?

I joined the Khergits, but now the Sarranids have taken all of our cities (except Ichamur, Swadians took that one), and Swadia and Vaegirs are taking our castles. The position of marshall is shifting, like, every week, and the only thing the Khan and the armies are good for is feasting. Every time a marshall tries to gather the troops, they immediately scatter again, and the other nations are so busy beating us, that they've even stopped fighting each other. What should I do? Keep it up, wait until the other nations go at each other, and retake a castle? Or just jump ship and join the Sarranids or the Nords?

I have played Native for countless hours and I have seen maybe 1-2 city captures. Usually the AI always seems to capture the odd castle or two and maybe lose one before a peace treaty happens for me.

Floris Expanded causes khergits and swadians to get wrecked. right now we have no cities as swadia and khergits are in worse shape.

I've been playing this game alot again. Both in Europe 1200(as a freelancer) and in the normal one where I sided with the Nords. My army of Rhodoks,Nords and Swadians+Companions/hired blades is almost unstoppable. Had 2x a victory against 85ish normal soldiers and 60 farmers. with only 8 dead among my 65 army. I now also own a castle instead of 1 shitty village that gets raided most of the time. I love how you can have an epic cavarly charge(I tend to waste my cav so I use my heroes for it) and just kill people in 1 hit on the outskirts of an enemy army. Also, I like how Nords have captured 1/2 of the Veagirs but remain peaceful with Swadia, Veagirs are going to be wiped out with 2 cities left and about 6 castles. And once I was defending a city, against 600 man against the garrison(160) and my 60 men. We held. 1/2 of my army dead but the enemy was completely destroyed. Too bad I don't get to defend more often, such a kick ass feeling.

Somehow the Sarranids hit us incredibly hard, taking about three cities, while all the lord were feasting for some reason. Every attempt at taking them back was thwarted by their huge army. Didn't help that they were only fighting us, and that we we're fighting the Vaegirs too, who also only had us as enemy. After that it was a free-for-all buffet. Vaegirs started taking out castles, while Swadia took Ichamur. Now Rhodoks has taken Narra from the Sarranids, and oh god everything is shit. I guess I'll just jump ship, then.
