i doubt they would increase filesize limit just for warband
shit, they probably pumped it high enough to make most l4d map mods one file now.
yeah, that's what I was thinking. Just wondering how many mods are going to break now.
Native is just so.... I don't know how to describe it but mods don't give me the same feeling.
But the mods are still great. I love Persino but also Europe 1200AD.
Just try out Floris Expanded and you'll never go back to Native again. Trust me.
It bundles together over 140 mods.

Oh, sweet another fan Europe 1200. Yeah, I hope they continue work on it and add in the Byzantine Empire, and maybe the holy land. It's really all it's missing.

What's wrong with 1247 AD which has all those regions?
Playing Native Warband. Joined the Khergit as a mercenary and continually get my shit smacked by bandits. Have been in some pretty kickass battles though, and my riding slash is one of the best in the business. Had a 12 hour marathon the other night.
What's wrong with 1247 AD which has all those regions?
Oh. I did wonder where the mod was that I played where all of europe was. I had the wrong mod, that one was only central europe( 1257 HEART OF EUROPE). Must have mistaken it..
Edit: I think I still prefer 1200, just me but I like the map more in terms of locations, 1257 is pretty empty in some areas. both have hteir place though.
welp i helped the nords take all of the vaegirs lands with the exception of nelag castle and now they control a third of calradia which is something i regret doing.
swadia got their ass handed to them by rhodoks and lost praven, dhirim is being fought over by everybody.
rhodoks, swadia, khergits, and sarranids are all alarmed by the nords growing power and declare war but rhodoks have no marshal and are just twidling their thumbs, swadia lords are disgruntled but still unified, i dont give a shit about the other two.
dhirim only has a garrison of 37 troops, half of which is militia and I have half a mind to take it and start my own kingdom after my contract with the rhodoks is up.
Dhirim changes colors like the seasons
took dhirim once it had down to 18 troops and now i'm trying to establish peace with harlaus.
Do units still train and earn promomitions while garrisoned?
edit: swadia sent everything they had and took dhirim from me :/
I just learned that Native Expansion replace King Harlaus with some lady
but King Harlaus was my favorite :C

Queen Katilus is just his wife. He's simply in another room with his feasting buddies.

Harlaus is a complete dick, he's infamous for his dislike of awarding fiefs or castles to anyone but himself.

He needs those places for feasting
Trying out this webm thing. 4 minutes of gameplay with Floris Expanded 2.55, sorry about the quality.
I have a HD quality file but it's 66MB and I don't know where to upload it.

That's more like Ragnar for me.
Does anyone use ENBs or recommend any?
Throwing Axes > Bows
(in Native MP at least)
im on that good terms with the swadian nobles that even after i defected and entered into a war against them and took over half of their land, every time i go to talk to one they are all "Good to see you!".
So what's the series like? A friend told me to try one out but I'm not really sure what to make of the series yet. Also, what's a good game to start with?
It's fantastic. It's a RPG with neat things.
if you play one play Warband and maybe get Napoleonic Wars if that period suits you (NW is MP only).

This game is an RTS First Person RPG skirmish game. You control a group of men/women and attack others, engage in political struggles in the land, and ultimately your end goal is to take over the continent.
Each battle happens in a skirmish in a small, medium, or large map, depending on how many people are involved in the battle
if too many are involved in the battle, the game will have automatic waves of reinforcements to continue the battle until one party surrenders/leaves/loses.
You manage your party by upgraded basic units, managing companions level ups and inventories, and managing your own character's inventory, stats, and the party inventory.
What's really great about M&B is how open-ended it is.
You don't necessarily even have to kill anyone yourself, you can be a trading entrepreneur who hires mercenaries to do the killing for him.
If you become a vassal and kiss the proper behinds, you can manipulate lords into feuds between eachother while you climb up in the hierarchy.
Letting your enemies go after battle, instead of imprisoning them ensures that you always have friends on both sides of the conflict.
Playing best friends with the high lords and marrying into their family solidifies your status in the royal house, further strengthening your claims.
Suddenly you own numerous towns and castles, commanding one of the biggest army in the lands, all without raising your sword.

seems reasonable actually.

I use commands as well.... Mostly just like Infantry - Hold/stand closer(against cavarly), Archers - hold(behind infantry) and cavarly = Follow me.
Of course, I am a dick to cavarly and use them as a disposable stall force, that is how I win against bigger enemies. Most of the cavarly force is my companions though.

Thanks. Yeah, using the commands can make all the difference, especially in a bigger battle.
Usually I place my infantry in the front in a shield formation and the archers in the back, while I take the cavalry around and flank the enemy as they're charging, hitting them from two sides at once.
Generally, it's better not to charge because you'll be closer to the enemy's spawn point, so when they bring in reinforcements you'll be swarmed really fast.
When I'm facing overwhelming odds, I destroy one wave at a time and then tell my troops to back away and regroup, making sure that I'm evenly matched against
each incoming wave and that my wounded troops won't be wandering around the battlefield and getting picked off one by one by the fresh enemy reinforcements.
You'd be amazed how many casualties you can avoid this way. Here's some more content

are you gatsu
how do vaegir veterans get killed by a looter.
really
on a different note I hope they add a pre-battle planning screen like in Total War for Bannerlord, and the ability to give a companion groups of units that they lead and specific behaviors that you want them to follow in battle. (aggressive or cautious)

i always use commands, but when im battling other lords their tactics skill apparently is 10x mine and i start with like 10 troops out of my 67 troop army and he gets to start with all of his.
are you gatsu
Guts? He sure does look like a feasible version of Guts.
