sounds like a summary of polish history in general
To this day I still never understand the landswap that the USSR had with Poland after WW2, trading belarus for Pommerania and Silesia, Two areas that had been German for centuries.
So I had a feeling for doing a full Warband playthrough and want to mod it even more since last time I played it I was on a average system. What are all the visual mods for it I've seen going around. I got like 100 nexus tabs open for warband. But I'm going to go through Moddb too. I want a relatively original campaign, but maybe with a new map I don't want the gameplay completely changed maybe new factions and stuff but nothing like guns. What kind of suggestions do you all got?
The Khergits are amazing if you play them like Mongols/Kyrgistani's. Use horse archery ffs. In an open field the Khergits are the most powerful faction but in melee which is the main focus of a seige they are useless.
Not really. They're not at too big a disadvantage in melee. I regularly take lancer without a horse when I'm forced to play Khergit online and do alright. The hafted blade is a really great weapon.
Hey, anybody want to be super nice and upload their "ani_walk_sideways.brf" from mount & blade? (not warband's) I really want to get back to this game's mods but I can't without this file and reinstalling many times doesn't do anything.
PM'ed you a link
If you're looking for original Mount & Blade mods I suggest Star Wars Conquest, The Last Days of the Third Age, The Horde Lands, and the Civil War in Russia mod.
Started to playing again some days again, female character focused in bows and 2-handed weapons. Joined to the Vaegirs, first war against Khergit Khanate, they were defeated and deleted of the map, not even a week passed and new war started, this time against Swadia, I took all their territories and soon they will be no more, but before that, BAM! Veagirs in war against Nords and Sarranid Sultanate. War, war never changes... I need vacations.
I remember testing the late game functions of the first M&B prematurely by cheating. I attacked Swadia's huge armies with just myself in my party, sit back and smash CTRL+ALT+F4 as they came over hills, collapsing and rolling down them, falling off horses which ran wild in all directions. It was fucking hilarious.
u wot m8 (wip textures are the ones that look like puke)
I want some news of Bannerlord.
It better have MP campaign
Chambering is hard shit man. I can't decide if winning a duel using only chambers is worth the dozens of embarrassing deaths where it looks like I did nothing.
I've never really played this game, only got about 20 minutes played but I really want to get into it.
I've never really played this game, only got about 20 minutes played but I really want to get into it.
Word of advice, play Native until you get tired of it. Then try out some mods.
I've never really played this game, only got about 20 minutes played but I really want to get into it.
HOW TO GET INTO M&B: Start a horse archer guy, put all stat points into str/agility, with int as needed. Spend the first dozen or so hours just running around killing bandits solo, acquiring lodsaxp. Max as many fighting skills as possible. You're eventually aiming for a masterwork war bow, which requires 8 power draw. When you get it, you'll be able to kill anything sans heavily armored knights. War horses will be your mount of choice. Decent speed and armor. Win tournaments with your superior smacking skills. ALWAYS bet max. I recommend downloading Tweak M&B so you can bet 1k every tournament step instead of 100. Otherwise acquiring money takes forever. This will be your primary form of income. Eventually, get so good at horse archery that you have pinpoint accuracy while at full gallop. Get Firentis, Jeremus (who will be your team doctor), Lezalit, Nizar, Marnid, Borcha, Matheld, and baheshtur. Train them all in riding to 4 and str to 12, equip them all with heavy chargers (except jeremus - just give him a crossbow or something.) and plate armor. Give them all shields and long one handed weapons. They are all now unstoppable badass knights. Begin fights by telling your heroes to stay. Then run around the enemy ranks and spam arrows at them. While they're distracted by you, order your cavalcade of badasses to charge in and stomp their shit. Eventually add in a bunch of swadian knights to win everything forever. I did this in original M&B, and my guy was so amazing he once took on 60 sea raiders single handedly and won. Felt good considering the very first time I fought a group of sea raiders, I got a throwing axe to the face.
Here's a Feudal Japan mod in development that seems pretty cool. Just thought I'd share it with you guys. http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?topic=249816.0
Is there a point to high city reputation in unmodded warband? I can't recruit soldiers there, and as long as it's above 0 I can run a business there.
Shameless self plug http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?topic=251011.0 MadVadar (from TLD mod) joined up to help me devlop the mod and progress if happening a lot faster now.

When the mod has good progress and you decide to work on the magic system, I suggest looking at The Horde Lands mod for original Mount&Blade to see how they made it work. It had a working magic system where after completing a few quests you could cast a fireball among other spells. http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?topic=249816.0
This is interesting and it has Freelancer. So that's an insta-DL for me. Though it does make me wonder what happened to that other Japan mod, you know, the one with the weird font for locations in the overworld.
Only thing wrong with gekokujo is the anime soundtrack.
Though it does make me wonder what happened to that other Japan mod, you know, the one with the weird font for locations in the overworld.
I played that only a little and I think gekokujo is better. Also that mod is now incompatible with the newest warband version because wse isn't updated or something.
Only thing wrong with gekokujo is the anime soundtrack.
How out of place is it? Is it as bad as when GABRILDURO used the theme to TESIV: Oblivion in his America in 1755 mod?
How out of place is it? See for yourself because otherwise the mod is good and I just hate jrock.

It starts out as a beautiful orchestration and then JROCK OUTTA NOWHERE.
I haven't played Gekokujo yet but I imagine tracks like this might do it a lot better, what do you think?

EVERY Mount & Blade game is 50% off for the weekend! Best deal is the complete package for $17.50: http://store.steampowered.com/sub/14259/ If you only have Warband and wanted to try out some of the mods for original Mount & Blade now is the time to buy. Personally, I would say buy everything (yes, even With Fire & Sword) as there's barely any games that fit my niche (start out as peasant with nothing, become ruler of everything) like Mount&Blade does, resulting in me feeling that TaleWorlds deserves as much money as possible, especially since it'll probably be used for development of Bannerlord.
Well, I buy Warband, I load up, and look, nearly only Napoleonic servers. That's ok, I'll just go to a native oh wait "incorrect serial key". So, quick question, where the hell is my serial key supposed to be, and how do I use it? Kind of a slight problem, I'm finding.
Filter the servers to use your version only. You need the expansion to play on NW servers.
Filter the servers to use your version only. You need the expansion to play on NW servers.
I'm not going on them, should have made it clearer. The game is refusing to let me go onto any server because "incorrect serial key".
I'm not going on them, should have made it clearer. Get your cd key (probably right click m&b in your steam games menu, view the cd key) and input it into the registration. Atleast this is how it's for non steam. normal warband also has plenty of servers still, a ruskie server goes over 100 players about every day. Napoleonic wars has larger playercounts per server though and is better imo.
