It's good. There's a lot of features and such. Dev is a dick but that doesn't really ruin the experience I guess.
I'm currently playing Persistent Worlds 4.4. Having a blast with it, since everyone is (more or less) playing the RPG-format as they should. And I love the fact that everyone feels important - since everyone is a player, you don't feel as lonely as in Native Single-Player (where all NPCs are cork-brained statues that silently stare at each other). Up until last night, our village (the Village of Richfield on the EU Game of Thrones server) had quite a long time of peace. As such, our Lord knew that the other factions were most likely gathering their armies and preparing themself for...something. Because of this we (myself as our Inquisitorial Medic along with the next-in-command and our retinues) were dispatched to the Nights Watch to establish a trade-for-protection agreement, since we would like to stay neutral in an eventual conflict. We were greeted at Castle Black by drawn swords and pointed spears. The meeting between the Lord Commander and our Lord was relatively short. We were told to "Get our sorry asses out, or else". The whole thing was really tense, but everyone stayed in character and no one broke formation. But things could have escalated really quickly if anyone would have acted stupid. It was probably the most nervous moment I've experienced in Mount and Blade ever.

Don't get me wrong, they earned it, but I'm usually on the EU_Oasis server as Idiotic Sandwich. Probably different from the server you played on.
Persistent Worlds sounds cool. How do I start?
everytime i try to play on PW i get spawnkilled by buff dudes with bows. is there only 1 server? also if someone wants to be my PW mate or something that would be cool
Persistent Worlds sounds cool. How do I start?
you're in the 8th, a lot of 8th members recently got back into it :v:
Persistent Worlds sounds cool. How do I start?
Have you modded Mount and Blade Warband before? [editline]1st April 2015[/editline]
everytime i try to play on PW i get spawnkilled by buff dudes with bows. is there only 1 server? also if someone wants to be my PW mate or something that would be cool
No, there are a few servers up - but they are usually devoid of people. The one I play on is called EU_Oasis, and is hosting on the Game of Thrones map. When you spawn, you spawn in King's Landing, which is usually just a big clusterfuck of teamkillers. Get out of there and get to another faction's village or city as quickly as you can. I'm serving as Inquisitor/Medic for the Richfield Guard, which is just a short way from the Spawn city. Approach our gates and tell the guards that you want to Join us, and they will let you in. Then join us as anything you can afford. The moment you join us your spawnpoint will be set to our village. Our faction is peaceful, and we do not wage any wars. We care lots for our people, you will be safe with us until you can get some money started. That is my advice.
They really need to fix the auto resolve in the new Mount and Blade. It always seems to screw me over.
I hate how the game never seems to save my settings changes. I always end up having to screw with them whenever I start the game up.
Well this mod seems....interesting
I found it fairly meh honestly. Just too many things that don't really come together.
It needs a ton of work, but I think the potential for a great mod is definitely there.
After been playing the A clash of kings mod for countless hours, I've gained so much relation with my own kingdom that I reached -100. Apparently being stuck at +100 and just keep gaining relation sends you down to the pits out of nowhere. A bug or just the mod being hateful? Also, the game autosaved. :v:

does 102% count as normal?
does 102% count as normal?
As in 102% performance? Or something else?
As in, difficulty level.
As in, difficulty level.
I think it means you don't lose points in your final "score" you get when you camp and chose to retire. Still, play the game however you like, on the hardest difficulty if you like a big challenge, or choosing to only take 1/4th damage because you want to feel like you're in a Dynasty Warriors game.
Viking Conquest got updated to 1.04!
-Two handed Axes. -A new gamemode, 'Warlord.' -Shield Bashing.
And bugfixing.
Ok, now this is fucking bizarre I started a new character, got 50k gold, fought as a merc for the Polish and I'm 99% sure I had the option to become a vassal but I went the traditional route of being a merc first anyway. I end my contract, talk to the King, and I don't have the option to swear fealty. I do the usually safe-from-bullshit option of a special mission. A really weird conversation happens. The King says go capture a Swedish lord, (Poland isn't even at war with Sweden), my character (unoptionally) says "I don't want to cross swords with Sweden", the King says "I won't take no for an answer", I lose my good relation with him from positive 9 down to negative 11 and my relation with Sweden suddenly becomes -22 from an otherwise positive score as well. I leave (Polish controlled) Warsaw, travel for 3 seconds, and BLINK, and this happens. Warsaw and Krakow suddenly belong to Sweden. There are massive, lordless, 200 man "Swedish armies" running around. always remember, wfas is really, really buggy.
Is it too much to ask for a Warband mod that takes place before the arrival of the Khaganate? It'd be neat to see a shattered realm of Calradia with a lot more substates and infighting, and have the Khergit Khans come in ala the Black Knight Invasion. There's a bunch of rocks laid at a pass, so maybe resistance tried to shut off Kherghit reinforcements? [editline]4th April 2015[/editline] I want the Khergit to be a marauding threat

That's all I could find before I found Bashetur. Apparently Halamar was the first Khergit city, and the rest of the kingdoms weren't too happy. So they decided to conquer the Khergits. And we all know how that went out.
I was hoping for a 2015 release of Bannerlord but i'm starting to think that TaleWorlds is aiming for 2016. What do you guys think?
we'll be lucky if we get a full gameplay video before the end of the year
Honestly the development of Bannerlord so far has been fairly shitty. It feels like they announced it after the board meeting where they agreed on a sequel.

That and the menus. Otherwise its just been "hey guys sorry we haven't talked in four months. We have people sitting in taverns now!!!!!!! oh a mod already did that? Oh well!"
hey y'all if anyone remembers the ancient lord of the rings mod 'the last days' it's actually being updated on a regular basis again (still a little broken in places, but altogether playable) and works with warband https://trello.com/c/FeQVrumj/58-look-here-for-mod-installation-instructions-quick-fixes https://bitbucket.org/Swyter/tld-downloads/downloads
