I'm so surprised that there is not yet a Spanish colonization of America mod. Wouldn't it be awesome to fight Mayans, Apaches, and Aztecs as a conquistador or fight the Spanish as one of he native factions?

The Caribbean Mount and Blade spinoff might have elements of it
Shit, the rhodok pike is unreasonably good in multiplayer.

If that thing ever gets released. I remember last year when the beta was supposed to release.
What's a good single-player Roman themed mod for Warband?

Peloponnesian mod
Peloponnesian mod
Peloponnesian isn't Roman though, it's Greek and Persian. To answer Chocolate, Romae Bellum and Imperium Romanum are ones that come to mind. You can also try the TaleWorlds forum for other mods.
I like Romae Bullum but it's sort of unfinished as of now.
It has a huge campaign map but it's only filled up like a 5th of the way, appears to need polishing and it's currently missing certain factions such as Egypt, Spain, Macedon, and all of the Middle-Eastern factions.
There's also Imperium Romanum
I also did a mini mod for the above mod called Legio II Reworked Which changes Legio II into the classic post marian reform style in terms of armor and weapons etc.
I just played the 1866 mod for the original Mount and Blade and it's very fun, highly recommended. Mount and Blade is ripe for interesting non-Medieval settings and it makes me wish they would finish the WWII China singleplayer mod.

The World War II China mod was amazing in the original Mount and Blade. I totally agree with you. Medieval mods get pretty boring after a while.

Is the one in the original finished because if so, I need to try that out. Also, the biggest problem with mods with guns is that the shooting just isn't very good. You can't reload at will, you can aim and then put the gun away, etc. I hope Mount and Blade 2 might add those control options just so the mods can be better, I don't want guns in native.

The original was pretty well done and well polished. I played it on the vanilla Calradia map, but they actually added an addon with a full map of China
Have there been any Sci-Fi mods that were not 40k, for M&B?

There is a Star Wars mod that actually works pretty well. That's all I can think of.

I think there is a Dune mod for warband, but I'm not sure if it's out.
I joined a regiment and played some line battles on Napoleonic Wars. Super fun btw. Bayonet fighting is really hard though.

You didn't join the 8th though :(.
I remember Bayonet fighting in Mount and Musket, it was a lot tougher. That or I've gotten better.

I just joined the first regiment I saw recruiting. Maybe I shouldn't have jumped in so quickly but the people are friendly so I like that. I was kinda expecting Eve levels of seriousness. Also, I love how the Russians have those useless partisans. I do wish the Ottomans were in the game though, I want to shoot at those silly archers and camels.

That was what I did back in August 2011. Our Colonel, Jorge, was asking "hey anyone want to be in a Linebattle?" I was the only one to respond to his call, took about 3 maps though. At 9 PM EST that night I had my baptism in fire with the 8th. We were assigned to Russia and they asked if anyone wanted to be rifles so we decided to because it sounded fun. An old member, Tico, I remember him saying "Jorge, we're supposed to be rifleman why are you leading us like Line Infantry". Jorge's response "Because we've only trained as Line Infantry lol". Jorge, Jay, and I are the three left from that time. August 2011, the very old 8th. Tico left on a sour note that November due to a joke about him being a secretary (though that was what he was doing :P). He took a good portion of our members and formed the 2nd Queens Foot along with the NEC, Northern European Coalition. He now is a Co-Leader of the 12th.
Though, back in November of 2012 we decided to do a restructuring and purge of the regiment and in secret became the 12th King's Own for a couple of months. There had been a lot of drama in the 8th right before that so it was a way with doing away with that. So I make fun of Tico (we're still friends) because we used the 12th before he ever did :D. His 12th came afterwards :P.
That and I'm the 8th's Secretary. I handle PR, the Steam Group, the Recruitment Pages, and all that fun stuff. I take pride in the name, unlike other people :P

MM was tougher because there was no upper thrust, just the bottom thrust so combat was about breaking blocks and stabbing
and these bloody cav fights are still based on exploiting warband's +40 meters to sword range and left-to-righ unreasonably fast slash, also jumping over othe cav, hitting air above them and magically killing them
once saw a dude use ctrl+j properly and trick a 10-1 turbonerd, too bad later he got wrecked because even if you block an attack, it goes through anyway and kills your horse gg
Lances work better than swords for me on a horse because you can just either stab people in the back or use couched lance to instakill them. Swords are useful less often but you need them.

It was beautiful, faster, and the turn speed wasn't nerfed in all of warband because of it (thanks NW!) Jump Shooting, real Jump Attacks, spin to win, ah those were the days I miss. We'd spend entire nights on the 8th server just deathmatching. <3

Lances on horses? pfft. Take great lance as infantry. Best build ever.
Just continually poke people your teammates are fighting from about a mile away.
I think a 1776 mod would work out nicely.
US, Britain, Franch Dressing and Natives as playable factions for MP.

There's sort of that, Persistent Frontier. A persistent multiplayer module for Warband taking place during the French and Indian Wars. Fun on the US server has decreased radically though because the admins are terrible and made some stupid rule changes, though the EU server still has the old rules.
Are there any decent fantasy mods for Warband that are singleplayer? So far all I could find was Prophesy of Pendor and I didn't like it much due to poor balance and insane difficulty.
Okay, recommend me any mods you guys consider good. I just started playing and it's too fun.

You can bumpslash people easier with a sword though.
