Is there a FP regiment for napoleonic wars? I'm quite interested in getting back into that (was a regiment member/co-leader a while ago)

But seeing as the 8th retired on the 29th (August 2011-Feb. 29th 2016 rip) I could try to organize something, since that's all I ever really did in the 8th :v:

Any ideas if we'll get Napoleonic for Bannerlord ?
From Flying Squirrel? Probably not. They're too busy making their own American Civil War game.
Any ideas if we'll get Napoleonic for Bannerlord ?
Mods for sure at least.
I'm super pumped for bannerlord imagine the mods THE MODS
I'm super pumped for bannerlord imagine the mods THE MODS
here's to hoping we get the next version of star wars conquest :dog:
I was in the 95th line infantry, and after that the HAC :v:
We've probably had this conversation before, but was that the 95th led by the Italian guy going by Sharpe? I knew him at one point, he was chill. I'm going to miss moments like this, now that the 8th is dead. That was recorded on my old potato computer, about 3 1/2 years ago. God damn, that brings back a lot of memories.

I always wanted to play the independent bandit in warband but it just never had enough depth to it, everyone would hate you and you'd always either end up as an independent kingdom or running off to some other one. With a crime system... im going to need a good name for this character.
weapon specific blood decals + blood on the floor dismemberment when, we need this to be the most brutal medieval warfare sim of all time
As long as it isn't chivalry style dismemberment where a light sword stroke cleanly separates layers of plate, chainmail, leather padding, skin, flesh and bone along a single shoulder line. That's just stupid. Peasants should get shredded though. do it through a dwarf fortress style injury system, healing would need to be way more forgiving but it's be sweet to have specific bones, tendons, etc disabled until you can get to a doctor or wait long enough for your party doctor to help you.
Maybe just have gore based on armor. Heavy plate just has blood spatter, chain mail has some nasty bits exposed, leather has chunks missing, linen has pieces removed and nuders is tarantino-grade hilarity
Game should be like Rust and allow us to fight naked. Naked Slinger/Archer would be pretty powerful.

i was actually there and saw this watching him getting brutally gatted by the peasants was pretty funny, i saw it coming for a while off (when his companions got smacked)

Is it possible to enjoy Warband on high difficulty if you're not a masochist? With the health settings on normal and the AI settings on good, fighting more than 1 or 2 guys at once seems impossible.

The game would be boring if you could just solo through huge hordes of enemies, you get followers for a reason. Do things like set up archers on a hilltop behind where your going to solo in so while your shield holds out they get arrows in the back, when they get stunned take a swipe. There are a few problems with vanilla warband prison breaks and stuff, those arent balanced for the harder difficulty modes. Mods like floris fix that. Get floris, playing warband unmodded is a pointless experience thesedays.
hype is off the charts for bannerlord, this will be the first preorder i've ever done
Lionhead Studio closing but Bannerlord is the game I think I've wanted all my life. As a kid I played Fable, Age of Empires 1,2,3, Warcraft 3 and that kind of stuff. And it just feels like with the modding community that Talewolds cherishes that I think they're def one of the top three developers of our time alongside Valve and CD Projekt. When I picked up Mount and Blade Warband, it was because I saw a video of regimental Napoleonic Wars. And the game really struck a nerve with me for being fucking awesome. Even just native warband was lovely, and I always start as in Vaegirs. I'm just super excited to know that I'll have something to tide me over until the end of time. All in all, I fucking love Taleworlds.

And if they selectively disable the gore system for them, then you hurt suspension of disbelief. Willing to bet that this in addition to the massive cost of developing good gore probably has it off their to-do list. Hey, maybe a god tier modder will be able to do it though.

And shit, I've had warband for so long and have only played vanilla. I'll try floris out.
Since Bannerlord is adding a lot of features from mods, I hope the devs don't forget this. [t]http://puu.sh/nyCmo.jpg[/t]
a must have.

Start with two enemies and work up to max. This will also earn xp for your recruits (if you beat them all up) so you don't need to fight your first fights with a weak party. bonus: turn off automatic blocking direction or practice in multiplayer. don't pick fights where you're really outnumbered. you need a party, a horse or a bow with high damage if you're trying to fight something like 8 enemies at the same time unless they're looters. if you get a massive train of dudes following you just run for your friends because if the first one wont get you the 13th one will and they'll score hits on you through the first dying dudes ragdoll when you're still recovering from your attack. obv the game will get easier when you get good armor, a ohk weapon and a lot of levels, you can just shrug off weak enemies attacks at that point.
Fighting multiple people being suicidal is pretty realistic anyway With damage turned down and autoblock on warband just turns into dynasty warriors
