time to go suck more shit-holes
I loaded a save (not like I was going to tinker randomly with my engine without backups), but still, some expensive services there
I just realized the car's sort-of name reference. The real world version is a Datsun Cherry, a Satsuma is a type of orange. :v:
Oh no.. I built the whole engine only to realize I forgot to put the pistons in. WHY
Oh no.. I built the whole engine only to realize I forgot to put the pistons in. WHY
remove the oiltray and see if the checkmark shows when shoving a piston up.
remove the oiltray and see if the checkmark shows when shoving a piston up.
I did that then the crankshaft fell off. I will make a video showing how I react.
"EARLY ACCESS TO CYLINDER HEAD LEAVES PISTONS OUT"
I think my battery died, any way to fix it or get a new one?
This is it.
Another dumb question - does it take more than one bottle of hydraulic fluid to fill both the brakes and clutch? Or did I just empty mine onto the floor somehow?
it takes about a trillion bottles
Just when I thought I finally mastered this game, a piston randomly punches a giant hole in the side of the engine block. I don't think I'm ever gonna get this pile of scrap metal licensed :( [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/429358847318026492/AE650DAD23E615FBB9F0C589E7276AC892573205/[/t]
Is it a bug that hitting "enter" doesn't do anything when I get the "enter drive mode" prompt, or do I have to have a certain number of parts installed? All I have is: Complete front suspension & steering assembly Complete rear suspension (both including wheels) Steering column & wheel driver's seat
My artism flared up and made me do a thing... I was just driving along and died? Maybe a car crashed into me from behind or something, but I respawned at the main town with no car or anything. What exactly are you supposed to do at this point? I just spent 3k on sausages ffs [editline]28th October 2016[/editline] I guess restart is the correct answer here, I'm getting pissed off with how far the store is tho this van only does 80kph when do I get to swap a turbo into it

Unless it's like midday in which case you're gonna be walking home.

Managed to get the car running, took it for a spin down the road and back. Works great, apart from the brakes not working at all, minor issue. Just as i pull into the garage I hear "CLUNK" and now it just cranks :v:
yo what's this
Carburettor mixture screw. Scroll 'down' 20-30 clicks, choke a bitch, test and rev engine at a steady 2000-3000 RPM until the temp reaches around 80 and then release the choke. Scroll 'up' on the idle screw about 25 times and see how that goes. Still can't find a decent setting myself cause I keep dying in low gear, and have to turn the ignition again.

I thought you could only spray paint body panels.
Wait how do you do this? I thought you could only spray paint body panels.
There's a car template you can edit in the game files. You can also paint it there too. I want to do something for myself too but I am too gosh darn lazy.
Should I even bother towing and repairing a car that got pretty much obliterated in a crash or just start a new game. I'm not even sure I'd be able to find all the parts at the crash site
1 more noob question, how do I deal with dirtiness meter? Can't figure out how to work the sauna
1 more noob question, how do I deal with dirtiness meter? Can't figure out how to work the sauna
Turn both knobs until you hear it humming, fill the bucket with water, wait for temperature to reach 70-80c, then just keep pouring water over the stones (using ladle as a tool). Takes 2-3 minutes for the dirtiness bar to start decreasing
Well now that running is back, it should relieve some of you people.
There's bolts to align them, I think they're size 14, just look for a nut that's inexplicably in a joint near the wheel.
It's not a not in the joint - it's a hex built into the joint. In real life you'd disconnect the ball joint and turn the whole joint. Or the nut would just be a fastener and you'd loosen it and turn the steering rod. The game is realistic in one respect though: you've got to turn the left side in the opposite direction than the right side in order to achieve toe in / out respectively. By the way, I 've counted the clicks: I think it's 120 clicks from max toe-out to max toe-in. The car starts out at a very large degree of toe-out, which no sane person would have on their car, as it's incredibly twitchy and unstable. I'd advise starting out with almost max toe-in (maybe 100 clicks) and working yourself outwards from there.

Is there a way to order/buy stock parts? My engine apparently ejected a main bearing sometime between the assembly and dropping it into the vehicle and I have no idea where it is :c
so how do you fix a piston shooting out of the engine making a big ass hole also, why does my engine get very hot? I have coolant
