HOW DO i GET THE TANKER TRUCK TO GO OVER 20 WITH IT OVERHEATING? [editline]30th October 2016[/editline] Nevermind [editline]30th October 2016[/editline] My current problem is that I cant get the tanker anywhere befor nightfall so I am forced to work in the dark and run out of fuel as the gas station is closed.
Press R to switch the gear range, it allows it to go a lot faster. You'll need to build revs while in low range first though, or else it'll do a weird RPM chugging thing.
AHHHHH after restarting a few times missing a part giving me so much work to do that a restart is easier i got everything together. I turn the key nothing, pull full choke turn and it turns over and revs for a second before dying and now i cant get it to start at all. All fluids are in all bolts are torqued down. i had my carb set to 7 turns. now no matter how many turns down or up i cant get it to start. anyone else have this issue?
Nope. My car is perfect and I love it. It's entirely stock and can hit 180kph. Now to increase the power and drop the weight to make it even more perfect.

Trying to build up my radio collection and I was googling around and found this stanky site. Goldeneye by Tina Turner was a top single back then? Really?

The game was reading at first i had full gas but i filled it anyways. now im running. im ticking like nuts and can't adjust my rockers so i gotta figure this out. this game is fucking nuts and i love it.
NO e: you're after exhaust velocity, not pressure. to say that restricting an engine adds power is downright stupid. the most power you can make out of a naturally aspirated engine is dumping it straight out of a flared exhaust port, but that tends to burn the valves and destroy your ears so nobody does it. the most power you can make reliably is open headers with a flared end. it's all about the smoothest and fastest exhaust flow you can get without restricting flow.
I may have gotten confused with 2-strokes there.
I may have gotten confused with 2-strokes there.
you're not after back pressure in 2 strokes either, you're after timed exhaust pulses. back pressure in a 2 stroke makes more power than a straight pipe because less of the intake charge blows out the exhaust port before being combusted, but timed exhaust pulses (or better yet a valve in the exhaust) are what you really want
Has anyone ran into a glitch where random things become un-tightened? I backed up my save at home, drove the car as fast as it would go until I hit a wrong way driver, pasted my save back and when I loaded up the save I tried to start my car at home and it blew a hole in the oil pan and sent all 3 main bearing on the floor. Finally I pasted my save again and pulled the engine without blowing it up. Tons of bolts inside the engine block were loose now, all the main bearings, all the pistons, some others too I'm sure just can't find yet. It happened earlier with suspension parts but I wasn't sure if I had forgotten to tighten them down or not. Now I know for sure I did have the engine parts bolted down.
As far as i know, if you install something that needs you to tighten 4 screws but you only screw in 3 of them they will all come undone after you reload the game so perhaps you forgot one screw?

You might be able to start your car without filling the gas tank if you take off the air filter and pour some gas into the carburetor. It wont run for more than a few seconds but it can be useful for checking if it runs at all. It only takes a little, too much will just stall the engine.
How? What's your carb running at? I can only just about hit 135
I have no idea. Having no idea what I was doing I scrolled randomly around on the screw (HOW DOES CARB WORK). I'm waiting for my A/F gauge to arrive. It works well so I'm not going to touch it. It'll get to 180kph, but it'll also be firing coolant out of the radiator. If you don't push it it runs at ok-ish to warm temp. Basically no low end torque as well.
Carburetors are basically two valves to control the fuel and air flow and then combine the two for the engine to use. The fuel valve is probably a float valve and the air valve is usually a butterfly valve. The butterfly is pretty much directly linked to the gas pedal through a cable, idk if there are ever any linkages to the float valve.
Ffuuuck, i have a slow oil leakage but i have no idea what's causing it, no wonder it overheats even with the better radiator. I already checked the rocker cover, oil pan, oil filter and the cylinder head. Any other ideas?

With a bit of playing I can get it to 150 but it backfires when it's hot and shoots a little bit of coolant and then the police catches up

It'd be nice if there were more jobs to do in the Satsuma. Even if it was something like having a roof rack to carry small amounts of logs to people's homes
It'd be nice if there were more jobs to do in the Satsuma. Even if it was something like having a roof rack to carry small amounts of logs to people's homes
Pizza delivery. (Does that make sense contextually? I'm not finnish)
Pizza delivery. (Does that make sense contextually? I'm not finnish)
Well whenever he implements the making of kilju, maybe people want to buy that off him and he can deliver it.
All the float does is regulate the amount of fuel in the float bowl, which is essentially a small reservoir for the carburetor to draw fuel from. Here is a really simple diagram [T]http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-C6cyWOEPk4c/VjN3vE_GReI/AAAAAAAAB-Q/S8mo4gDFSBA/s1600/simple%2Bcarburettor.jpg[/T] Now the Nissan A10/A12 (im not sure what the one in the game is supposed to actually be) came with a little two barrel Hitachi DCx carburetor, either a 306 or a 286 depending on which engine it was. Another interesting thing to note, is that the "aftermarket" carburetors in the game appear to be stock A12GX Hitachi HJE38W carbs. It would be cool if you could get other A12GX parts to put in your stock engine via the catalog, as it had higher compression, a more aggressive cam and bigger ports. Years ago a good family friend built a Datsun 210 to run in SCCA's now defunct GT-5 class. He had a super overbuilt A10 in it that made somewhere along the lines of 200hp at the crank. The car had a grand total of 9 wires in it and won multiple national championships. [T]http://www.race-cars.com/carsold/other/1072847719/1072847719ld.jpg[/T]

When you mail order things, do they get sent to your house?

Welp, died on my way back from the shop, drove back there with the tractor, faced with having to leave the tractor since you can't really tow I'm starting AGAIN.
