It needs a cassette player with the ability to add custom music to tapes. I need Scooters and the beat goes on on cassette to bring back the memories.
says the one with milk bags
Wow actually that's only the weird Eastern Canadians ok
[del]i'm tempted to buy this game. Should i?[/del] nvm, got it
i'm tempted to buy this game. Should i?
Do you know shit about cars? Do you like fucking around in games instead of following their storyline? Do you enjoy doing wacky stuff even when there's nobody there to laugh at it? If so, get it. The game is made for you to do stupid shit and fail spectacularly. Unless you don't know anything about cars / and are too lazy to google the names of the parts you find in the garage*. Then you'll just fail rather unspectacularly. *I don't suggest watching youtube tutorials. They spoil the fun.
I like how the van is a "Hayosiko" brand When pronounced by a Finn, it sounds like "Hajosiko" which is finnish for "Did it break down?"
I was going to say, if this had controller support it'd be fun to put it on the big screen and have a few people over and make a drinking game of it or something. I used to be a tech as well (doing front desk shit now), so it seems worth playing just to compare to real life lol
Yeah I don't work as a mechanic anymore either. Regarding controller support, it should definitely possible to map controller axes to vehicle controls. Then, if your controller has a dpad, you could perhaps use an app like joy2key to map the dpad directions to WASD for walking. ...gah.... though getting a stick to work for looking around.. no idea. My Logitech G13 can use its thumbstick for mouse emulation by default. No idea if any controllers have the same capability. I've never owned one.
holy shit, just learned how to drive stick sort of crashed my van and died only to find out that [sp]if you chose no death mode, you still die, you just return as a zombie at the local church[/sp]
I think these two pictures say enough. [IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/MfIng35.jpg[/IMG_thumb] [IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/NmR3R0C.jpg[/IMG_thumb]
Was looking for a place to buy sausages and I flew off the road and died.

That mid-roll message was hella impressive lol [editline]24th October 2016[/editline]
Yeah I don't work as a mechanic anymore either. I legit can't get to the first store, I always manage to fuck up and crash Hands down the best Finnish lifestyle simulator
Jesus Christ I never knew that typical Finnish summer is so close to typical Russian summer: Sauna? - Check (It's called banya here, but it's almost the same) Repairing cars and wrecking them? - check Drinking lots of alcohol? - check Drunk driving on countryside roads? - check Everyone is still alive despite car having no roof now? - check.
i'm so bad in this game, i can't even assemble the engine
[sp]if you chose no death mode, you still die, you just return as a zombie at the local church[/sp]
So it's kinda like a suomi perkele version of this?
Finally almost at the store after three attempts which ended in a crash. Stopped by police for a breathalyzer test Open door Step out Immediately ran over by an AI car that came full speed from behind ded
Having to wait till Friday for my paycheck is going to be hard. This game looks so fucking great.
The sewage truck seems to be out of oil and I can't find where to put it.
Dumb question: how do I disable permadeath?
doing my sewage thing, throw the hose down the hole, wondering how big the hole is, fall through hole to my death. gg ripperoni. [editline]24th October 2016[/editline]
The sewage truck seems to be out of oil and I can't find where to put it.
it's hydraulic pressure, don't worry about that gauge.
i'm so bad in this game, i can't even assemble the engine
It's probably the most complex bit. Still haven't played, but in real life it sure is. [editline]24th October 2016[/editline]
Dumb question: how do I disable permadeath?
There's an option on the driver's license when you make a new character.
I still haven't managed to stock up with beer and food. Crashed and died on my way home on last attempt.
finnish beer-drinking drunk car simulator is outselling civilization 6
Oh shit I remember watching a really early video of this. I think it was like an hour+ with some drunk finn talking on the mic. Absolutely buying this game next month when my exams are over.
The respawn system is pretty useless, back in town with no vehicle in sight. I had the engine finished as well.
Wait, did I just die from [sp]answering the phone during a thunderstorm?[/sp] made me laugh, but I'd assembled a fair bit of the front end
I am having a BSOD issue. After 10-15 minutes of runtime I get a big crash with looping audio and a WHEA_SYSTEM_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR blue screen with no stop code. It seems to do this regardless of graphics settings and what I am doing in game. One time it did it opening the toolbox, another two times it did it starting the van, another time it just did it while driving down the road in the van.
This is like one of those games i really wish had proper VR support so i can really relive the 90's to its maximum potential with car building, listening to music and drinking beer
Does anyone know how to walk faster than the speed of molasses
