Why was the green car removed though? Having him as a constant danger was awesome.
This is a regression. Everything else is cool though.
Oh the amis asshole on the highway or the lil green car on the country road? If it's the latter I can understand cause he keeps getting stuck anyway and he doesn't fuck off when the rally starts.
If it's the green menace I would assume it's the Eurodeath machine. Since you can now hitchhike from the country car it's unlikely it would be removed.
Well I guess I can worry less now about some asshole being on the wrong side of the road.
Well I guess I can worry less now about some asshole being on the wrong side of the road.
Don't worry 21.12. -Brought the green killer car back, but with randomized spawning (drives another direction now too)
fuck
Protip: Always remember to turn on the lights in your bedroom before going to sleep, especially early in the day :v:. I nearly died of dehydration stumbling around in a completely pitch-black house until it was just bright enough to see the sink in the kitchen.
Slightly upsetting that I cant get this old steering wheel to work with MSC I mean yeah it's an old ass microsoft sidewinder but it still works fine with dirt 3 etc I guess I just have to stick to keyboard with this

There was a pretty neato interview by dome few days ago http://muropaketti.com/dome/peli/artikkelit/my-summer-car-suomalainen-hittipeli-syntyi-autovaras-sarjasta It's in Finnish but google translate will probably do fine. Though I'm bored tomorrow and might do a translation.

I cannot phantom how fucking terrible the van drives. I use the sewage truck to drive around the map, no fucks given about the fuel consumption. I've parked the van in front of the garage so it serves as a floodlight during the night, and I'm using the tractor if I crash the sewage truck and I need to get it. That thing is a deathtrap on wheels :v:

Had my buddy over and he tried the game >goes into the living room and taps F to open the present >drinks the booze by accident you know this is gonna be good now >fumbles to the kitchen and grabs the crate of beer victory beer >goes outside >slams the beer crate through the van door >hops in >punches out the windshield and flips it off victory beer >spends 5 minutes trying to start the van, more tipsy than standing in a canoe victory beer for starting it >slams it into gear, hits the house, does 4 donuts and eventually drives down the road, takes a right to go to town, drinking beer as he goes Me(with an evil grin): "lets try second gear" >Bombs down the road, hits a hill on the left, flips it, rolls it twice, van is now on its side .... victory beer :v: >manages to flip it >slams it in reverse by accident >drives it down the right side of the road, on to its roof Ends the night with drinking victory beers until he blacks out Come my turn I take the septic truck for a rip. Get to the highway, about 7 beers deep, drink the booze bottle.... get up to 6th gear... reach over to the passenger seat... ... drink the second booze bottle from the wood shed :v: sweet mother of christ it got scary after that, I couldn't see a thing. There was a green blob I swerved to avoid, hit a hill on the left side of the road, and launched the truck into the trees I fucking love this game
I don't think I have the patience to build the car myself. I always try starting on the engine then get bored and quit. That doesn't stop me from having fun in the game though. I just spent half a hour causing car accidents on the highway! A) Fill the van full of firewood. B) Make piles on the highway C) Watch cars launch in the air or flip multiple times on the road. I wish we had the NPC's vehicles. They are much more durable. The white car with the shop salesman was all bent up and he managed to drive off easily. Man, I'm so disappointed. I took my trailer with ramp materials to the highway and was causing more crashes. I crashed the yellow van man and we were going to be best friends at my house but..... he disappears when I try to take him back to my place.

Though I'm bored tomorrow and might do a translation.
I'll continue translating some of it. Bolded text is Johannes Rojola speaking. "How would you describe yourself?" "I won't." The idea of the game came from TV series Autovaras (car thief). "There was a scene where the boys threw a bicycle stand through the window and stole beer and sausages. When I saw it I thought hey, a game like that would be fun!" "Where did the theme of Finnish countryside and 90's atmosphere come from?" "Probably from living in Finland for 34 years and having eyes and ears." "What are the future plans?" "A cottage in the island with a wooden sauna will be next big update." "Is there any user-generated content that you've found cool or unexpected?" "Yeah, I follow Steam's artwork/screenshot feed and there's lots of stuff that makes my laugh my ass off. Here's one of my favorites [T]http://muropaketti.com/dome/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/mysummercar_haastattelu_201612_0bileet.jpg[/T] "Is that motor oil?" "It is... human shit. Probably opened the sewage truck's vent inside. That or diarrhea. "My Summer Car has the most confusing image about Finland ever. Have you followed the global reactions?" "Yeah, they're getting just the right image! No bullshit, just a Finnish game for Finns that others can play too if they want. By the way I've heard that Japanese players follow the speed limits and drive really carefully."
Don't worry 21.12. -Brought the green killer car back, but with randomized spawning (drives another direction now too)
fuck i didn't know he'd been re-added, so i got caught completely off guard by him coming over a hill at midnight on the wrong side of the road and going the opposite direction to what he used to. i was going fast so i didn't even have time to react :(
It's weird how everyone manages to find novel ways to die in a game with relatively little content. I got killed on the highway in the shit truck recently because I drank an entire case of beer on my way home from Teimo's and tried to shake the bottles off by opening the door and doing an aggressive lane change maneuver. I had the rear axle up and 10k litres of poo on board so I lost control and crashed into a van.
Oh man. Today for the first time ever, I managed to get the engine up and running. I was excited, so i took it around the house. I'm not good at the gear changes so it was a bit stuttery, then it died. Okay whatever, I expected this. I stop, restart, and it won't move. The gear linkage has broken off and phased through the ground. After a further 10 minutes of tugging the car to my garage with the van, then pushing it in, I closed the game. Went back in later, and the gear linkage had reappeared where it broke off. Success! So I go and reattach it, making sure to attach the small bolt I missed the first time. And it goes! I made the terrifying voyage to Fleetari. With my wheel alignment garbage, and carburetor not tuned, it was a constant struggle to keep on the road with loud bangs every few seconds. Then in the distance I can see that I finally can get the car it took me so long to make tuned and ready. Fleetari has locked up for the day. So I stole his muscle car and went home.
Havnt touched it in a bit the gear changes were brutal as in good look getting it into first ever.I should start a fresh game.

The long, straight tracks are pretty nice for taking shortcuts. I imagine they won't be so nice once we have trains shooting down them.
Game updated by the way!
-Fan belt can be now purchased also when it is lost -Store items are now re-stocked only at game load -Decreased power of truck engine -Made truck parking brake fail when strong force is applied -Player can now sleep in the truck and on the junk sofa found in landfill -Sleep is now activated with Use button (default F) -Added driver and voice over for the yellow car -Added map features, railroad (no trains YET) and sports ground -Added bus player can travel with -Added cottage with wooden Sauna -Fixed issue with controller deadzone settings not saving -Slower generation of fatigue when running -Drunk driver of the small green car can now die -Ability to buy coffee from the Pub, decreases fatigue -Fixed issue with Christmas lights draining the battery even when shut off -Fleetari wants his Ferndale car back now (I advice you to return it) -Fixed bug where detached Starter motor did not enable trigger for assembly -Fixed materials for all the bolts, let us know if there are pink bolts -Random graphics work -Random adjustments and fixes //This update has a lot changes in it so prepare for some unforeseen issues. But don't worry, we will do a quickfix update if something game breaking or other unwanted behavior is going on
http://steamcommunity.com/games/mysummercar/announcements/detail/656799801028338756
The fucking railway[sp]ends in a tunnel, I died embedded in a wall. What the fuck does the wall at the end say?[/sp] EDIT: [T]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/83716862577294368/87DDD926E537EF7C17DAA9CF41894AFD42DD1332/[/T]
I set up my Logitech MOMO Racing wheel for the game since I finally figured out what force feedback is after installing the wheel's drivers (:v:) is the force feedback supposed to be quite choppy? like, when I turn the wheel, it feels like it's struggling to pull through something really chunky, when I'm just at a standstill
