My Summer Car - Car building and 90's Finnish summer simulator - Games

I spent 8 hours building the damn car for the very last required part to fall through the floor. Not even joking.

for some reason saving doesn't seem to work and there is always the fan belt missing, so I cannot complete the engine

So last night I ended up taking a break after fully building the car's suspension, decided to try and search for the bigger town in the van. I ended up witnessing an AI car trying to overtake me, hitting another car head on and flying up into the air, a techno music-playing car being wiped out by a Saab, then I ran over three policemen at a checkpoint and started running away. While running I flipped off countless trucks, pit maneuvered a van, then finally escaped into the city with sirens blaring in the distance. I got to the mechanic and asked for an inspection of my van (cop car clipped it mid-drift), then promptly collapsed and died of dehydration before I could move the van into the mechanic. I fucking love this game.

This game is amazing and has so much potential. I just finished my first run prematurely by accidentally falling into the septic hole trying to pull the hose out.

As with any other game, this game would be 1000x more fun with multiplayer. I really hope he'll add it at some point.

Well, managed to get in town to buy a fan belt and other stuff, only to lethaly get my ass rammed by a douchebag driving at like 120 Respawned in town with no van, walked to the crash site, and NOTHING was there.

Where on the map is actually your house? I spent way too much time trying to get to a town and some gas station, by the time I got there it was closed and then I died of dehydration

Take a left and a right and you're on the highway and either direction will take you to Perajarvi and the store. Also, I discovered that you can unplug your phone. I didn't realize that at the time that I posted it, and I'd also just searched for any map and grabbed the first that made sense. I hadn't figured out how to start the delivery van then. :v:

Is beer the only drink that lowers thirst, I bought a shit load of OJ because the swaying screen makes getting bolts a but harder but I've discovered it makes thirst increase

Quick question, is permadeath on by default? And if so where are game saves stored?

It defaults to on. Also, I found what "1marcelfilms shortcut xD" in that old map refers to. I suspect this isn't possible in the live build anymore. Hold Q to lean forward or just jump up on the counter and crouch down to drink. :v:

holy FUCK the fly sound effects are annoying

Cheers guys, I'd neither realised it was orange concentrate or that you could drink from the tap. I've found putting the engine together so far oddly relaxing
