Thanks! yeah I almost crashed trying to get to the first house, christ its fast.
Now... how do you remove the hose when you're done?
I -think- the same way you picked it up, should be an interaction point for it.
Haven't tried myself yet.

Try flipping it over by pushing (j).

You can use push mode to roll the car back on its wheels. Bear in mind, it doesn't always work. And sometimes it makes the car launch at escape velocity.

i've had that problem too, instead of figuring it out, i just drive around with it flying off the back of my truck.

Yeah, I've tried :(

Where in the garage? I'm looking.
In the leaked release it would just land in the pit sitting right in the middle, unless he changed it now.
I havent had anything fall through the ground yet so I cant confirm.
Apparently the cops frown on hitting one of their buddies on the side of the road going 100kmph, who knew?

Apparently it's supposed to show up at some sort of scrapyard? No clue where that'd be though

I've heard so many different things, "It's at the landfill", "It spawns at the back of your house by the umbrella", "at the airport drag strip".
I found someone else having problems :D

If pushing fails, try putting a beer case under the van.
I must be doing something wrong with starting the van because I turned on the ignition, but attempting to enter driving mode didn't do anything.
Any idea why Kaspersky would immediately delete the mysummercar.exe spouting "PDM:Trojan.Win32.Generic"?
"Win32.Generic" means "I don't know what the fuck this is" and when it happens to Steam-downloaded game binaries it's a false positive 99.999% of the time.
Also if you want another bottle of that hard stuff you find in the wood shed, drive to the left and there should be a house with a drunk outside, simple walk into him and he'll gladly hand you another bottle of the good stuff, drink both at the same time for a good time.
oh shit I must do this. [sp]does it kill you?[/sp]
The first time I played, I didn't know how to get into vehicles, I had no idea where the house was in relation to the map, and I staggered around the immediate vicinity of the house for 20 minutes after I found the only thing outside of the house that I could figure out how to interact with -- downing a bottle of 38% liquor.
This is the best game ever.
Also, I haven't tested it with a stopwatch and fixed distance to be sure, but it appears that you walk slightly faster if you hold Q to lean over and then tilt your camera back up. Quasimodo speedwalking? I had plenty of time to experiment with the walking mechanics when I spent 25 minutes walking to my eventual death by dehydration about 2.5km away from town.

Make sure you release the parking brake (lean to the right and right-click twice to disengage it all the way) and then put it into gear (g). When you hit enter and the driving mode prompt goes away, you're in driving mode, but you have to actually take the car out of park. :v:

Just end my life.
Asking again, I can't figure out how to get the engine onto the engine hoist thing, I lowered the hoist to the engine, tightened the 10mm bolts, the engine twitches but it doesn't actually get attached :c

When the engine hoist is at the right height and you place the engine onto the hook things you should hear a distinctive noise, tighten the bolts then and it should snap onto it and you can then lift it up and move it.

First, make sure the Cylinder head and exhaust manifold are on and secured.
When the bolts are in the right place you'll hear a 'clink' sound. Tighten both bolts all the way and the engine will be attached. That's all there is to it.

OK fine have this one instead:
To put the hose back on the septic truck, just hold the end of the hose and drag close to the back section of the shelf it was on. Look at the right side shelf from the rear. "Put away Hose" should show up.

[del]I've heard once the engine twitches, go to your toilet and save and come back, it should be attached to the hoist now. (A little weird I know, but after I started assembling the engine up till the piston parts and assembly, it will attach instantly then, so I dunno)[/del]
welp disregard, above post got it.

Isn't that the charm tho?
I can't remove my alternator, I unscrewed the screw and unbolted the bolt, but it won't come off, did I forget one?

Oh, I don't think I had the exhaust manifold on yet, it wouldn't let me snap it onto the hook things. Thanks!
Okay, I've managed to slap some bits together with other bits. We're making progress here
I direly need an adult
Tried adjusting the valves ontop of the engine with my screwdriver, saw no difference.
Here's hoping I don't explode.

I think you'll have to adjust it if you hear a ticking from the engine, shouldn't cause a catastrophic failure though
Oh good god, this rescue did not go quite as planned

This'll have to do
[t]http://puu.sh/rVweS/613a3f84f5.jpg[/t]
I have no idea how to assemble the engine, managed to get obvious stuff like headlights, seats, etc. in place on the car but the dashboard falls off when I try to put on the dashboard instrumentation.
This game's mechanics are frustrating as fuck.
3 rolls and 1 frontal later, I MADE THE TRIP TO BUY MORE BEER
