Ever seen Pokemon Chronicles? It was sort of analogous to Pokemon Origins for 2nd gen.

I remember watching the first three episodes, thinking that the entire series would be like that, needless to say, I was disappointed. But it was honestly still a really nice series. It broke the monotony of the original anime at least, and gave us more development on some characters of the week from the original anime.

Question: How would I have known to shoot down the wind god? Does someone tell you this in-game?

The fish that marks your maps might tell you. I remember him giving a lot of useful information. I don't know if he's still in/how he works in the Wii U version though

Yeah, he is in the Wii U version. I know he told me that I need to ride a tornado to go inside the Mother & Child Isles, just didn't realize you could shoot the wind god. Or maybe he gives that tip for a map tile that I haven't charted yet.

One of the fish does tell you about the warp requirement and the Wind God does ask you to punish his brother for the cyclones. However, most players kinda forget about it until you get in one and the Red Lion tells you about the need for something that can pierce the wind.
Wind Waker was the last 3D Zelda to be that cryptic about hints. Hopefully, Zelda U is just as much.

So Nintendo World is having a midnight launch for Splatoon and Wave 4, and if you buy Splatoon there you get one of those terribly beautiful Splatoon hats they're forcing Gamestop employees to wear.

Yep, and considering popular Kickstarters tend to have a big surge on their last week it should reach 3 million no problem (I'll most likely be getting it for Steam though, but more options is always nice).

Single player is surprisingly good seeing as how I didn't pay much attention to it in previews. Servers went up either yesterday or this morning so theres people to play with too.

says Friday for me, but no signs of my copy being shipped anytime soon, and I used the free trial for Premium. I don't really know how Amazon works but I don't see the game shipping this week.
