I'm going to be honest here, I don't really care if they make a new Mario or not for the WiiU.
And this is coming from a guy that's a huge Mario fan, but I'm just not really interested in more Mario for the WiiU.
Give me Zelda, Star Fox and Metroid. I can wait for the next Nintendo console for a new Mario.

Are we still doing Star Fox games? I know after Rare's blunder, they cut the series, and I haven't heard much sense.
Well Star Fox is definitely going to be at E3, that's for sure.
If it isn't, then I can guarantee it isn't coming out this year. The only thing I'm afraid of is it not being a major release.

And it did not count as a main game, just like OoT or Majora 3D. The main on 3DS was Between Worlds and the main on Wii U will be the Zelda next year.

The character models got a higher poly count, but it isn't a big difference. I can play Sunshine on Wii U with Nintendont just fine (though I'd sure love to use Virtual Console), but having Sunshine on the 3DS would be pretty sweet.
Also I'm good if 3D World and NSMBU are the only mainline Mario games on Wii U; 3D World was really darn good and I'm happy with it. I'd rather see other Nintendo IPs get their shot.

I really want Splatoon but I don't think I can justify the purchase for myself right now. I'm really hoping for a solid E3 this year though. Last year's showing was impressive enough for me to go out and buy my Wii U and while I haven't regretted it I also haven't turned it on in months.

Probably will never happen, but I'd absolutely adore a Kirby Airride 2. One with a fully fleshed out city trial mode. That was the bread and butter of the game. Screw some of the events that happened way more than they should have though. (dense fog/bouncy items *cough*)

Anybody got tips on how to unlock hats and outfits in Smash Wii U at a steady rate? I transferred Miis from my 3DS some months ago, played with one recently and noticed that stuff I didn't unlock in the Wii U version won't show up on my Miis at all because of the Mewtwo update. Which is stupid because it worked fine before.

I can't say Quaus is wrong, but it's a mixture between the two actually.
The girls mostly play the mobile games while the boys play the oversaturated FPS, however, there a lot of guys who play mobile games that targeted to them.
My 11 nephew and his friends all play minecraft all day. in creative mode.
My brother's... 13, I think, and he's addicted to Skyrim and Fallout.
We don't talk that often.
my niece is 5 and put more hours into super mario 3d world than everyone else in my family combined. she used to play fruit ninja but she tells me it's "too boring" now.

Nintendo, the one company who's open about their announcements before a justifiably large place for an announcement...still announces new stuff. even if it's just Ryu/Roy, it isn't as infamous as the whole Fairy type leak fiasco in Pokemon*. they must be extremely confident in their reveals if they're showing off Smash stuff an hour and 20 minutes before they come up for E3.
* Seriously, i heard people hounded TPCi on social media and Youtube about it. to the extent they pestered anyone tangibly related, like Shokotan and anime voice actors.
EDIT: Seriously, hope they don't pull the whole "X will be available after the Nintendo Direct" Lucas is released on the 14th. since Smash is a worldwide game, they can only add him if it's the whole world, it's different than how Hyrule Warriors goes about it since there's nothing like world leaderboards.
