eugh I'm both super hyped and anxious about StarFox, I really want it to be closer to Assault, with on-foot multiplayer, and less like StarFox 64 with Arwing only fights.
Especially if we can use a control scheme similar to Splatoon.

This art is done in a style that was heavily used in Splatoon promotionnal stuff, I'd say this is legit. Splatoon x Mario Sunshine is just begging to happen, I'm just on the fence on that because Nintendo has not acknowledged Sunshine in years and for them to do so, I think there has to be actual Mario Sunshine news. I don't really want a remake because I think the game has aged well and doesn't need one.
Going further into detail on that picture, the Inkling is wearing his Hero outfit, meaning this is a singleplayer campaign. This is really good news because the singleplayer is insanely good, but so short. I hope we get more levels overall.
There's also the Inkbrush for some reason, I don't think you can use that in solo. That may or may not be Bowser Jr's paintbrush, too. Maybe you'll have more weapon choices, or maybe these are Inkbrush challenges in the same vein as the amiibo ones, either way that tends to prove that we're gonna get a massive singleplayer update. Hopefully these aren't just reskined levels. I also hope this isn't DLC, I already spent too much money on Smash :v:

Is there a known URL for where the video will be archived once its finished? I'm not going to be able to watch it live, but every year when I go to watch the video, I have to search for it which will always spoil any surprises thanks to related headlines. So where will the video after its been aired?

Yeah if you look at the upload page, but the main page of their channel should just have the direct itself.
You'll be hard pressed to find a vod of the direct that also doesn't have spoilers.

You mean the bloom? It actually looked excellent on Wind Waker. Super Mario Sunshine could benefit a lot from it, for its sunny visual style.
