C'mon, I need a Tyrantrum confirmation.
If they use Tyrunt, they can just use Gon's animations from way back when.
Suicune looks like a FUCKING BOSS
I wonder how many fighters there will be? I have some stupid Pokemon that nobody else likes and want them to be fighters!
Goomy for Pokken or bust.
Quagsire or go fuck yourself.
Looks like the Wii U is finally getting a Terraria port according to gamefly and Amazon.
Looks like the Wii U is finally getting a Terraria port according to gamefly and Amazon.
considering nintendo's history about having some of their characters/clothing appearing in other games for the Wii U and 3DS recently, a Terraria Wii U port could be pretty neat. maybe if the devs are allowed to go fullswing with Nintendo's back catalog of canon and whatever. maybe a surface Wall of Flesh Majora's Mask Moon could be a boss? they had to recolor Link/Mario's suits in the console ports because Nintendo would've had a lawsuit field day. Or maybe Nintendo-themed Biomeworlds, wouldn't mind a whole LoZ world, or a sizable floating continent that blends Skyloft and Skyworld. Phazon instead of Crimson?
Scyther's my favorite Pokemon, so I think it would be cool if he was in, but I'm not holding my breath since he's not exactly the most popular Pokemon of the bunch.
Kirby tried to tell Elene (the fairy in Rainbow Curse) about Meta Knight and Dedede She nailed it

Well I just bought Punchout for the Wii on the eShop. Still can't believe I missed out on this title when it first came out.
They should really add GC games to the eShop, unless they're planning on releasing more HD remakes of GC games like they did with Wind Waker Just imagine HD Luigi's Mansion. HD. SUPER MARIO SUNSHINE.
I actually played Luigi's Mansion on the GameCube a while back, and it's actually aged extremely well. The only thing kinda off was pre-rendered ghosts, but an HD remake would be pretty cool.
What changes would the controls need to make games work on the Wii U Pro/tablet controls for GameCube games? I'm sure there's something but I can't think of them off the top of my head. I'm assuming the GameCube adapter isn't an option for most people btw, since it isn't.
Some Big Animal Crossing News is about to go down:
I wonder if this involves Amiibos or more Wii U Connectivity. Regardless, I hope it also comes with news about re-releasing previous DLC. I've missed some in the past.

You didn't notice him doing the electric wind god fists or the washing machine kicks?
the what
the what
It's a move Heihachi and Kazuya use in Tekken. Uppercuts with lighting on the arms and washing machine kick is when heihachi sticks a leg out and kinda spins at you. Pikachu has both of them
has anyone noticed the range on their gamepad has degraded over time? I have a relatively small apartment, and I cannot use the damn thing in my office which I measured is only 15ft away from where the Wii U is in the living room. Didn't have this issue before. Bringing it up because i'm pissed I wanted to play some smash while taking a shit but could not get the gamepad to turn the Wii U on after poop already started coming out of my butt and my bathroom is even closer to the console.

It's been 2 months, and still no damn official gamecube adapter in stock. This is really sad. I decided to ordered the 3rd party adapter.

I guess they could do something like R for light pressure and ZR for full pressure and move Z down to the - button or something?

They had pressure-sensitivity on an older controller and ditched it going forward? What kind of thinking is that?
Nintendo thinking for ya
Nintendo thinking for ya
one step forwards one step sideways
Wait. What. They had pressure-sensitivity on an older controller and ditched it going forward? What kind of thinking is that?
They had it before the competitors. The competitors were all about those pressure-sensitive face buttons. Edit: What a page king, Mark!
That's below the belt man. You just had to remind me of the Dualshock 4's lack of analog buttons. And the 360 controller cutting it as well. Really, once something is part of a control scheme, it needs to stay or get a functional equivalent - Otherwise there's messy situations like the control changes of MGS2/3 when ported to other platforms because they took full advantage of their native controllers.
Im kinda leaning towards getting a Wii U in the near future. I definitely wanna get Smash and Wind Waker HD. It's weird; I don't think of myself as a big nintendo fan, but all of the consoles I've owned are nintendo. I briefly owned a Gamecube, I had a Wii for the longest time, but never anything else other than my PC. Any suggestions as to which games I should get first?
