I really don't understand why they didn't cancel the WiiU port back when they voted to bring the game to next-gen. With all the massive improvements made after that there was no way in hell the game would run on WiiU without being seriously dumbed down.
I still think the NX is going to be some 3ds successor I mean, it's about time right? it came out in 2011? Late 2016 early 2017 launch would be about the right time frame.

I wish I had enough for SM3DW, only 1400 stars, if it comes back, I hope its cheaper.
I'd want to see more gameplay on it before judging it fully because in concept it looks fun, in execution though it's kinda boring.
i keep going back to the splatter shot Jr in splatoon, it just is the best weapon imo
i keep trying other weapons, but I'm nowhere as good without the splatter shot!!!

Yeah, a lot of people underestimate the Splattershot Jr. It's got good general coverage, it does decent damage, the special charges quickly, and the special is an "I win" button that's more reliable than the Kraken and can be shared with teammates.
Does anyone have Issac on the Wii U at the moment? Does it run ok?
Got to the starman supers and was like "Man I always try to get the Sword of Kings" but I never really get it. Usually I just gameshark it to myself and pretend it happened. Figured I'd give myself like 20 minutes to try and it didn't work out. As I was leaving it finally happened.

I have a friend who replays earthbound constantly, (I think he's on his 11th now?) but he literally refuses to continue the game until he obtains the Sword of Kings. Last run, though, I think he beat about 30ish before he got it... And then found a holy frying pan from the first enemy that drops it. Needless to say, that was a pretty good run for him.
The moral of this story is that I've sat with him through some of the 40-some-odd hours of his life that he's spent eradicating Starman Supers, so I feel your pain. :v:

Nintendo TVii never fully worked properly for me since it didn't understand what TV inputs were.
I never even had the chance to use TVii since my Wii U is never in the same room as my cable.

I only used Tvii on the SuperBowl. It was fun
My experience with TVii is that it spoiled an episode of AoS's twist for me by giving me a poll to vote on that involved the twist 5 minutes before it happened.
Kinda discouraged me from using it ever again.

it took me literally a month
the fact that i can change the channel and the volume on the tv is one of the best things about the wii u controller. I love it and it's something i'm going to miss if they get rid of it moving forward.

I'm pretty sure the remote function isn't part of TVii.
I was never even sure what TVii was meant to do, did it even work anywhere outside of the States?

Nah, TVii won't be changing the tv button on the controller- only the weird video service that was attached to the console that only worked in the us.

I play WiiU games on the gamepad more often than my TV just because of how much more convenient that is in most cases.

The gamepad idea is definitely the best thing to come out of the Wii U, that's for sure. Honestly I hope all the consoles implement it in some way next-gen. It's just so useful.
Nintendo TVii never existed in Europe in the first place, the icon was there but it'd tell you that it wasn't available in your country upon launching it and then would close.
